On this topic… the box art change from the Japanese/European box art to US box art for Ico was HORRENDOUS Also Resident Evil is such an iconic title, it’s just so interesting to hear that it was called Bio Hazard in Japan! They look like completely different ganes
Kiro DEFINITELY values different things in box art. I much prefer the simple style seen in some of the games, compared to the big action scenes. Look at Resident Evil Remake. Kiro preferred the Western cover with Jill fighting off a zombie, while I much preferred the remake of the Japanese Director's Cut. Mysterious and visually great. Doesn't age poorly with outdated character models. What more can I say?
3:10 that's actually really fascinating to me because honestly looking back I didn't even realize they had characters for the drivers in the original f-zero. They're clearly there in f-zero x, but you don't ever see them show up on screen in any shape or form on the original f-zero so it's interesting to see that they did actually plan out to have these characters in the first place and you can see them on the Japanese box art
Generally Japanese covers are more artistic and minimalistic, with Europe often just adopting that one… while American covers are often hyper aggressive, crammed with unnecessary crap, and with ugly CG models of the game’s characters instead of beautiful hand drawn illustrations.
I noticed you kept jumping between resident evil and Naruto and f-zero and animal crossing and just jumping and jumping and jumping. I enjoyed this video don't get me wrong, but it just seemed unorganized when you jumped from one series to the next and they just went back to the series you talked about earlier I just kind of kept jumping around and jumping around and not completely talking about a series until way later into the video after jumping from one series to another over and over and over. It seemed a little unorganized and kind of weird although I still enjoyed the video

Other way around u.s actually got the game first, and i believe the box art was rushed for the u.s release, though i maybe wrong on that front
13:12 *the Tokyo Tower
Oh shoot, you're right. Oof.
I was not prepared for how much Naruto was going to show up in this video.
Trying to spice things up a bit.
Oh my god... that ridiculous Claire zoom had me dying of laughter. XD

the segways in this video are CRAZY
Sonic 1 pal is the best of the three
Edit:cover wise
The comic book box art makes sense captain falcon is based on Batman
Sonic 2's US/EU box art will always be hilarious.
How'd you forget to include the Sonic games box art designs?
I've talked about them in a previous video about box art. I'll probably look at more of them in a future video.
i was thinking this exact thought. SA/DX and SA2/2B would have been perfect for this, even Sonic 1, 2, 3&K and CD. missed so much stuff tbh.
man this video is cool i really like the topic but man SOO much naruto it’s like im getting force fed food LMAO
Naruto is goated don’t blame him
@@Vegeta654 i know but what if you don't care

7:57 is it me or does the american ult ninja 2 boxart kinda look like the american budokai 1 boxart
The video should have been called "Japanese VS European VS American Naruto/F-Zero/Resident Evil/Animal Crossing Box Art"
Yoooo box art time
Yup!

Chat I think Kiro is a Naruto fan
The text on the Animal Crossing box...
ひとりよりふたり
ふたりよりよにん
よにんより。。。たくさん。
Two is better than one, four is better than two, many is better than four.
@kirotalksyt Can the next video in this series talk about how they massacred my boy Ico?
