Damn straight. I'd trust her to watch my six any day. But if I ever found out she was hunting for me I'd surrender immediately. She's real good to have watching your back - but real BAD to have camped on your trail.
FINALLY! Deeks has finally gotten what he's deserved for a VERY long time. And he's easily proven multiple times he has what it takes. He may not be as fast and strong as the other, younger agents he (briefly) trained with, but this dude has stood on equal ground with some of NCIS' best agents, and even earned the recognition of Sam Hanna, a NAVY SEAL. I can't even remember the number of times that Deeks has proven himself to be on the same level as Sam when it counts.
it makes PERFECT sense that she is the one to "give" him his Special Agent badge ......... and that Kensi is there to witness it happen. This is why you do NOT question Henrietta Lange. EVER.

I first learned of Linda Hunt while watching a PBS special "Christmas at Yellowstone" she narrated it and I became entranced. You all are so very talented and I appreciate your time, talents and effort that you put into developing each character. Blessings to you and your family. And to your NCIS LA family as well. So happy
Still annoyed that Hetty couldn’t have waited and allowed him to graduate with the other cadets. I don’t care if she’s a legend, you don’t let someone believe they’ve failed something highly important to them, just so you can have your moment. Sure she got the age thing waived, but Deeks did all the hard word. He deserved that moment and that honor without the additional stress and Hetty’s manipulation. Not to mention, as other people have pointed out, now they don’t get their vacation. Otherwise, lovely acting from Eric and Dani.

I’ve only just clocked that given how young he looks in his badge photo, she had it made up several years ago and has been holding on to it for the moment to arrive.
One of the things I enjoyed about NCIS LA was that they keep the majority of the main cast together for the entire run. The main NCIS is still fun but it doesn't feel like the same show any longer.
There is one inconsistency in that scene. Investigator (as Deeks is introducing himself) is issued a silver badge inscribed with the word Investigator. And I don't know what is written there, but the badge itself is definitely gold.
I will still never get with Deeks LAPD experience and 10 yrs working with NCIS he is only given the title of investigator instead of special agent after he goes through FLETC, like everyone else who has come from a different law enforcement agency and join NCIS are all special agents after they go through FLETC even a couple of people who have no law enforcement experience and go through FLETC are special agents but Deeks who has more experience then all of of then put together is only given the title of investigator and it's never explained why 🤷

OMG they BOTH cut their hair!!! Looks good on Kensi but its not Deeks and I do like Kensi in longer hair too. I wish this was on Netflix. I don't get why they only have one good show on there and only one Netflix. They used to have lots more good ones. Well they do have Gilmore girls which I love so two good shows. Missing LA and the New Orleans ones and Hawii 5 o , Friends, white collar, dr who, Leavarge. I am so behind on all but friends and white collar as they have ended ages ago. Im so behind on NCIS LA:(

Yep. Still mad about the way this was done. Deeks deserved better than the turmoil of thinking he got kicked out of FLETC and then missing out on graduating and all with his classmates just so Hetty could have her moment. Yeah, I said something similar before, but I’m still not over it.
And why is he only classified as an investigator and not a special agent when everyone else who came from a different law enforcement agency were automatically made special agents but had no where near the experience of working with NCIS like Deeks had, I think it belittles Deeks contribution to NCIS and the team which he was a big part of 🤷
