- Deeks in the premiere was just heartbreaking to watch, and that last scene with Kensi - I can't even explain my feels for it
So the ending is a bit rushed but you know, you can only repeat a segment of a song so many times before it's starting to sound too repetitive.
And lol, the first time I uploaded this some voice-overs couldn't be heard over the music and after trying to fix that (while sony vegas is being a bitch) they're now way too loud. Guess there's no in between ;)

It was a great start to a great friendship with Sam, too... I really like that. It showed Sam that Deeks was willing to go through anything to protect someone. ESPECIALLY a woman
Despite Sam's kind words to Deeks, what I didn't hear was a: "SORRY about what I said about your character and thank you for saving me" - it seems that you don't have to be "navy straight up" to have character, honor, kindness and to see good in people, like Deeks' has. AND in the end the fact that Deeks returns to the case, opening the door and shooting some Russians by surprise was what gave Sam the opportunity to save Michell.
I’ve always hated that Sam never apologized to Deeks for what he said. The way they built up Sam’s character it seemed like he would absolutely apologize, but he never did, and that never sat right with me.
@@c-boagames261 To be honest: the whole setup did not really work. They put together a scene where Sam blames Deeks for his character (which came out of nowhere), only to make the hospital-scene more powerful. In my opinion, that was not necessary, on the contrary.
Eric Christian Olsen's acting in this episode was amazing. The bond between Kensi and Deeks is so special. The scene between Sam and Deeks was powerful-superb emotion and wonderful acting.

like LITERALLY broke him.
and he meant what he told Sam and Kensi ... he truly wanted to walk away from it all.
Nate couldn't reach him.
Hetty herself couldn't.
the only person that could reach him ....... was the only one he probably wanted to do so in the first place: Kensi.
that's why Hetty, and Callen (for that matter), long knew that Densi was a thing ... before Densi knew they were a thing.
The scene where Deeks begs Kensi to let him go and she tells him he has to stay for a little while longer - you could tell both their hearts were breaking, and my heart was breaking too.:(:(:(
I love Deeks, I hate seeing him in emotional or physical pain, but the good thing is that he always has Kensi to get him through it.
I just think Deeks would have rescued her from the torture regardless of orders. That single event could have easily have destroyed there brewing relationship really.
Was crying so much through out this whole video and I kept replaying it. Feeling real emotional right now.
Before this Sam used to see Deeks as a partner, after this they became brothers
Sam admitted he was wrong in how he saw Deeks.
I get why ... after what happened to Dom, and Deeks' seemingly nonchalant attitude.
but, I was more glad that Sam TOLD Deeks .... and when Deeks said he never thought he'd hear the compliments he got from Sam, I'm glad Sam admitted he should have told Deeks that before too.

It seems like everyone was mad at the way Sam was treating Deeks in the beginning but you have to remember he was still worrying about Dom and Deeks was is replacement. And the reality of it was he wasn't trying to get close to anybody else just in case they lost Deeks to.

This is where Densi really started. Deeks came on to her right before he and Sam were caught. She (in his head) kept him sane while he was being brutalized. She rescued him (with Granger, technically ... but who are we kidding? it's about Densi). She got through to him so the doctors could examine just how bad they brutalized his dental work. From the moment of that confession at the end of this clip ... Densi was gonna happen.
Don't know about that personally. I always thought Deeks loved Kensi way more than she did him, even now. He would have quit his job and risked everything to remove her from that chair, no matter what they ordered him to do.
