Test for Colour Blindness

Dr Shinobu Ishihara introduced in 1917-almost 100 years ago-the most well known color blindness test. Each of his tests consists of a set of colored dotted plates, each of them showing either a number or a path. Since then this is the most widely used color vision deficiency test and still used by most optometrists and ophthalmologists all around the world.
Ishihara Color Test Instructions:
1. Sit approximately 75cm from your monitor, with each circle set at eye level.
2. Preferably have mild natural light and no glare on your screen. Interior lights and glare can alter the color of the pictures.
3. Attempt to identify the hidden number or line within 5 seconds.
4. Share the test with your friends!

It depends on the shade, the distance you watch the plates, etc. There are various levels of colour deficiency. You need to take an anomaloscope test to determine the exact status of your color deficiency.
But there is no such thing as colourblindness. In that case you would only see things in black and white.

I found out I was color blind in 2014 when I first got my prescription glasses. The optometrist gave a color blind test and she told me I was color blind. The thing is that most color blind have problems with different shades we can see color we just can't see lime green and orange together or aqua blue and violet... It's the difference shades of all colors.
