I lost my forever girl in 2018 after long brave battle with a sudden brain aneurysm she lived about 3 years after the surgery she never gave up until her last breath she gave me 28 magical year's of marriage and 3 wonderful boy's Austin Tyler and Jacob I was so blessed to have her in my life thank you all and thanks for this beautiful song

I found my "FOREVER GIRL" 27YEARS ago and we were supposed to be married, but we made mistakes that resulted in our lives being lived separate for 25years. She found me through social media a few months ago and I've never been happier with my life. If only our lives can somehow get back to anywhere near as wonderful as it was then,people who know either of us would see what should have been all along. I truly believe that God created us for each other and I won't give up on US "ANGEL"

I just wanted to stop by and say that when I heard this song back in 2015, I LOVED this song. It got me through a very tough time in life. When I heard it, I knew it was one of those songs that was going to be a hit! My wife and I made it our wedding song. 6 years later, you will still catch me singing this in my truck at a light or my wife and I dance to this at the house. Jon, thank you for you talent!

I don't think very many men realize how much the small things matter to women. It's not about money, looks, or gifts. It's making a woman feel like she's important to you. Spend time with her, send a sweet text or leave a note on her pillow for her to wake up to and make her feel special, send her flowers for no reason, suprise her by bringing take-out home for dinner to give her a night off from cooking, run a bubble bath for her ect... That's just a few things I would love to have someone do for me. I'm just a down to earth, 100% COUNTRY GIRL born and raised. I know love when I see it. I've been in toxic relationships and I've been in relationships where no matter what the butterflies hit me every time I heard his voice or when he walked in the room, but this one has made me feel like his "Forever Girl". We've had our ups and downs but by the end of the day he's still the love of my life and more. We went 9 months without talking and now we've reunited and things still feel the same as they did the first time. He makes every effort possible to make me smile even on my hardest days. Even if I'm not his "Forever Girl" he is my forever boy, and only if we could have this lyrics changed up a bit so that there is a male version that would great. Guys deserve just as much attention as us women. I couldn't explain in words how much I love this man, but only if I could walk into the room to a male version of this song playing to my man laying in bed sound asleep and just crawl in bed with him just to kiss him on the head and fall asleep next to him that would be great.

This awesome song written on the front porch of a small house in my neighborhood.
Don't know how I missed this song, but I just heard it for the first time about a week ago. And this song hits me hard. It reminds me of her.
Whenever I would see her, I would say "there's my girl". We loved each other, we fought side by side, we comforted each other, and we truly helped each other get through this mad world we were in.
They say God takes the best of us first. And that must be true, because after 10 years together he took her. I was with her every day. On her last day I heard her fall and ran to her, she'd been looking for me in the house when she collapsed. A few short hours later we were at the emergency vet's and she passed, while I told the hardest lie I've ever had to say, as I repeated "it's going to be ok". I buried her on my property 11 months ago, with a tasteful headstone. I haven't been back to that spot since. Pictures are hard enough right now.

Unfortunately for artists, almost all radio is run by 3 major labels. The only chance they have is to pay for promotion to very small local channels or a hail marry on satellite radio. It really sucks how much great music will never get the recognition it deserves because of this.

Because nowadays the competition is off the charts. With TH-cam and social media everybody that thinks they have a voice is putting out music. There's so many and a lot of times.
