Allow me to add one on the list of possible candidates, as I myself believe all of them to be possible candidates. Zoroark: It's a fan favorite (kind of), and I honestly want it to be the Zorua from the Gen 4 movie. Now there are other pokemon that I could say like Sizor and Gardevoir, but their isn't really concrete evidence that suggest that they could be caught. Unless they also have merch coming and I just didn't notice.
just some guy I would love a Zoroak, but I think his team will be diverse and since I really think he will get T-tar, Zoroak wouldn’t really add anything to the team. I really wish that he would get one tho bc it would be a good gimmick that he can use to trick other trainers (ex.: If the other trainer has a Gengar, it would use Psychic since it thinks Ash is using his own Gengar, but it is actually Zoroak). Legendaries are too op, also most Legendaries have a job or something to protect in the universe, example Lugia is the protector of the sea so Ash couldn't catch Lugia because she has duties to attend. On the other hand Meltan was a new addition, they gave to Ash for advertising purposes and because it doesn't have a duty or something to protect so Ash was able to catch it. Ash caught Naganadel but it had to return to it's home because it was needed their. Ash will probably only catch Mythicals are my prediction.

I'm sure Ash will catch Sobble💧 and Grookey🌿 as the last two of the Galar starter pokemon and hopefully in the future episodes this year or next year the evolve way up to their fully evolve form because they suited Ash's personalities👍.

I definitely see Go getting Latios with Ash getting Latias, they just don't feel like "important" legendaries. Plus Ash did form a bond with Latias in the movie, like he did with Lucario, so hopefully the writers are interested in giving him one. Yes, give Ash his Dunsparce.

I also don't think we should count out Ash potentially having every Pokemon he's caught so far (and not released) in rotation, once he's caught a full team here. More likely to bring the powerhouses back for the tougher battles like Charizard, Snorlax, Sceptile, Infernape, Inceneroar, Melmetal etc. Can also see Greninja coming back to join the team. There's a chance Tobias could return and we could see Latios v Latias, and also Tyranitar if Ritchie returns, to match it up with his team again, since he had a Pupitar last time we saw him.

Treman1 yeah Scizor would be a good fit for ash but I can I stead see gouh becoming a battler later on in the series because back in episode 17 it was revealed that gouhs raboot was interested in the battle so. Could see him later on telling gouh I want to battle and gouh accepts that while he may never be as good at battling as ash he could still become a good battler in his own right.so I can see gouhs Scyther evolving into a Scizor once gouh becomes more frequent of a battle but gouh trading his Scyther to ash could also happen as well.and it would most likely become a Scizor while being under ashes ownership.
If Koharu were to get one of the starters from galar, it would be sobble because Koharu is introverted while sobble is timid. I figured as they traveled with ash and go, Koharu would be less closed minded about the world around her while sobble would become more confident and become an inteleon.
I feel like Chloe (koharu) needs a grookey. Due to her needing to open up to Pokémon which grookey having its personality would help her. Sobble/drizzle/intellion seems to fit ash’s battle style more.

I am actually quite unsure about what kinds of a team they will give. the trend in the latest generations has been for small teams with lots of development for each pokemon, usually in the way of evolution. But since they can't do that due to the high proportion of fully evolved pokemon It would track that there would be more team members. But ash has always seemed to be the type to have smaller teams in recent generations so im not sure to how many rotating members he will have.
Yeah that’s true it will be interesting to see what direction they will take with him, the only Pokémon he has now that can evolve is riolu and I think that’s gonna happen really soon
I think Ash will catch Rillaboom and Drizzile, not Inteleon because I can not stress enough how much it does not feel like an Ash Pokémon. Also we should stop overlooking Espeon as it is still a real contender.
Intellion is more ash pokemon.... Its a very fast pokemon.. And rillabom is kind of slow..... Stats wise intellion is more ash pokemon... Than rillabom

Plus I see Gible and Quilava both going to final evolutions! Do also think Ash and Go will do a trade but don’t know what yet!

I don't think Dragonite or Gengar will stick around long. I think that's why they were caught fully evolved. Mr. Mime too. They seem like they will get minimal screentime but be major powerhouses. Like Snorlax. I have a feeling he will get a few more pokemon like this too. And he may get more this generation than any other. Like 2-3 pokemon from each region. Probably more from Galar.

My guess is ash will use the galar Pokemon for the galar gym batches and the league .. so he may use his ace team for the World Championship challenges
He may get lapras back for ice. If you see the trend hes almost all gen 1. The master league may have the man characters from each region with regional pokemon. Make it a battle of gens. I mean hes already got the 2 strongest from the first gen. Lapras would be prime nostalgia because he did with the orange league and lapras was there.
tbh theres no reason he cant have both Sobble and Grookey. In the vein of Anime theme, Sobble could, after it completes its arc of wanting the strength to battle, evolve into Drizzile, but *not* into Inteleon. Now, Ash can in theory, work with and be shown in cool shots with any pokemon in the pokemon world, but thematically speaking Drizzile fits Ash better than Inteleon would, while Rillaboom would absolutely fit Ash. since the Anime shows that even unevolved mons can show great strength (God Rowlett, Scraggy, Gible, Bulbasaur come to mind) It would fit the narrative of Ash to have a mid-evolution like Drizzile wrecking face. and I TOTALLY see Ash getting Ttar. Not only is it a fan-favorite as well as the fact Ash hatched one, but due to the nature of how in this series, we eventually will see the appearance of old friends and Rivals (beginning of course, with Korrina) that same Larvitar (maybe now a Ttar after all this time) could come back and finally join Ash. Just because Team Rocket had access to it via the vendor, doesn't mean it's actually owned by them. The Pelipper that carries it is property of Team Rocket itself, not the trio's. The pokemon they get are random and thus there's no real Chekov's Guns in terms of who the mons Jessie and James actually own. The only pokemon i could see the trio keeping for themselves would be that Chewtle, maybe. But nah, I don't think the Ttar coming from the Rocket Vendor has any bearing on whether Ash can have his own or not.
I disagree with the mega evolution. They gave him Greninja in place of that. and he has G-max Pikachu. He's not also getting a Mega, I also Disagree with Latias. The series has amazing right now, but I see them throwing a curveball in all honesty, also Zoroark is one I don't see him getting as well- there's really no reason for him to get this. What they could do however is do something they did by in DP, they brought back Cyndaquil and It evolved into Quilava. Maybe something like that but besides that really. I don't see him getting much on this list, the one I truly dislike is Intellion though. God that thing is ugly lmfao. But I hope he really don't see him with one- ( Grookey fits him so much better, and I see it having the same personailty as Aipom ) and if he does get one then if it evolves into Drizzile I'd be happier- but ugh Intellion.. I see it having the personality of Ash's snivy but idk I hope he doesn't get it and instead it joins Koharu

My team prediction is ....... pikachu, dragonite, gengar, lucario, latias as his final team. Now as his side pokemon I think grookey or sobble I don’t really see them being battlers being that his team doesn’t seem like it’ll need them in battle. Next I think he will get kungfu or whatever the new legendary is called making it a melt an kinda of situation and he’ll probably replace gengar with it at the end. Here’s my Prediction for Ash team are 1, Pikachu Gigantamax i think Gigantamax will be handle like how Megas were since a Trainer in the Anime only had one Mega so likely a trainer will only be able to Gigantamax one Pokemon 2, Dragonite 3, Gengar 4, Riolu/Lucario 5, Eevee/Espeon resent scans have confirmed Mr Mime is not full time member 6, Sobble fully evolves to Inteleon extra possible members Grookey doesn’t evolve since when Ash owns two or more starters only one evolves unless Koharu get it 8, Tyranatar but he might not since he already had a Psudolegendary in Dragonite 9, Latias but might not since he already has a Dragon type 10, Zoroark 11, Ice type like Snom Ash won’t get a Galarian form of a Pokemon another Trainer had so Since Gou has a Darmanatan so Ash won’t get its Galarian form.
I'd rather have Grookey go to Koharu because Grookey is a pretty energetic and loving Pokemon and I'd feel it would make a nice contrast to Koharu who doesn't really like Pokemon. I feel through Grookey's personality, Koharu could grow and then could start to love Pokemon.

In regards to Ash and Go trading the only ones I can see that happening with karrablast and shelment, where ash will end up with accelgor and go gets escavelier.
tbh i see ash catching like 20 new Pokémon plus evolving a lot of old ones . This is gonna be a big and important series , so I see him catching a lot . He’s probably gonna catch plenty of last evolutions and few baby Pokémon
striker 15 most of them will be last evos so they wouldn’t need much development , the baby Pokémon yeah but there wouldn’t be that much . And I’m sure this series is gonna be long so I think they would get enough screen time and etc . And once they shift more focus onto Ash in the series things should come about quickly .

I also don't think we should count out Ash potentially having every Pokemon he's caught so far (and not released) in rotation, once he's caught a full team here. More likely to bring the powerhouses back for the tougher battles like Charizard, Snorlax, Sceptile, Infernape, Inceneroar, Melmetal etc. Can also see Greninja coming back to join the team.

Treman1 yeah Scizor would be a good fit for ash but I can I stead see gouh becoming a battler later on in the series because back in episode 17 it was revealed that gouhs raboot was interested in the battle so. Could see him later on telling gouh I want to battle and gouh accepts that while he may never be as good at battling as ash he could still become a good battler in his own right.so I can see gouhs Scyther evolving into a Scizor once gouh becomes more frequent of a battle but gouh trading his Scyther to ash could also happen as well.and it would most likely become a Scizor while being under ashes ownership.

If Koharu were to get one of the starters from galar, it would be sobble because Koharu is introverted while sobble is timid. I figured as they traveled with ash and go, Koharu would be less closed minded about the world around her while sobble would become more confident and become an inteleon.
I feel like Chloe (koharu) needs a grookey. Due to her needing to open up to Pokémon which grookey having its personality would help her. Sobble/drizzle/intellion seems to fit ash’s battle style more.

I am actually quite unsure about what kinds of a team they will give. the trend in the latest generations has been for small teams with lots of development for each pokemon, usually in the way of evolution. But since they can't do that due to the high proportion of fully evolved pokemon It would track that there would be more team members. But ash has always seemed to be the type to have smaller teams in recent generations so im not sure to how many rotating members he will have.

He may get lapras back for ice. If you see the trend hes almost all gen 1. The master league may have the man characters from each region with regional pokemon. Make it a battle of gens. I mean hes already got the 2 strongest from the first gen. Lapras would be prime nostalgia because he did with the orange league and lapras was there.
tbh theres no reason he cant have both Sobble and Grookey.
In the vein of Anime theme, Sobble could, after it completes its arc of wanting the strength to battle, evolve into Drizzile, but *not* into Inteleon. Now, Ash can in theory, work with and be shown in cool shots with any pokemon in the pokemon world, but thematically speaking Drizzile fits Ash better than Inteleon would, while Rillaboom would absolutely fit Ash. since the Anime shows that even unevolved mons can show great strength (God Rowlett, Scraggy, Gible, Bulbasaur come to mind) It would fit the narrative of Ash to have a mid-evolution like Drizzile wrecking face.
and I TOTALLY see Ash getting Ttar. Not only is it a fan-favorite as well as the fact Ash hatched one, but due to the nature of how in this series, we eventually will see the appearance of old friends and Rivals (beginning of course, with Korrina) that same Larvitar (maybe now a Ttar after all this time) could come back and finally join Ash. Just because Team Rocket had access to it via the vendor, doesn't mean it's actually owned by them. The Pelipper that carries it is property of Team Rocket itself, not the trio's. The pokemon they get are random and thus there's no real Chekov's Guns in terms of who the mons Jessie and James actually own. The only pokemon i could see the trio keeping for themselves would be that Chewtle, maybe. But nah, I don't think the Ttar coming from the Rocket Vendor has any bearing on whether Ash can have his own or not.

I disagree with the mega evolution. They gave him Greninja in place of that. and he has G-max Pikachu. He's not also getting a Mega, I also Disagree with Latias. The series has amazing right now, but I see them throwing a curveball in all honesty, also Zoroark is one I don't see him getting as well- there's really no reason for him to get this. What they could do however is do something they did by in DP, they brought back Cyndaquil and It evolved into Quilava. Maybe something like that but besides that really. I don't see him getting much on this list, the one I truly dislike is Intellion though. God that thing is ugly lmfao. But I hope he really don't see him with one- ( Grookey fits him so much better, and I see it having the same personailty as Aipom ) and if he does get one then if it evolves into Drizzile I'd be happier- but ugh Intellion.. Here’s my Prediction for Ash team are 1, Pikachu Gigantamax i think Gigantamax will be handle like how Megas were since a Trainer in the Anime only had one Mega so likely a trainer will only be able to Gigantamax one Pokemon 2, Dragonite 3, Gengar 4, Riolu/Lucario 5, Eevee/Espeon resent scans have confirmed Mr Mime is not full time member 6, Sobble fully evolves to Inteleon extra possible members Grookey doesn’t evolve since when Ash owns two or more starters only one evolves unless Koharu get it 8, Tyranatar but he might not since he already had a Psudolegendary in Dragonite 9, Latias but might not since he already has a Dragon type 10, Zoroark 11, Ice type like Snom Ash won’t get a Galarian form of a Pokemon another Trainer had so Since Gou has a Darmanatan so Ash won’t get its Galarian form.
I'd rather have Grookey go to Koharu because Grookey is a pretty energetic and loving Pokemon and I'd feel it would make a nice contrast to Koharu who doesn't really like Pokemon. I feel through Grookey's personality, Koharu could grow and then could start to love Pokemon.
