Pour a full bottle of SeaFoam in the tank and let it run. My dad’s carburetors were gummed up and he did the seafoam and after letting it run and a few rides it was back to running great. 😎👍
@@GoofyBastard yeah, it can work, especially with ethanol free gas. Just remember that Seafoam isn't great as a fuel stabilizer (more likely to freeze than Sta-bil), so if you're gonna do it, better to run it through a whole tank of fresh gas. And at a certain point if nothings getting through, it's still better to get a proper cleaning done. I recommended Bikes Built Better in Horsham in a different chat, and I still stand by that. They've done excellent work on my 2003 Sportster, and they work on anything. They'd probably get a real kick out of the VMax too.
@ I’m gonna have to run out and get some non-ethanol gas this weekend and pick up a can of seafoam and just let it run til it’s out of gas. While Bikes Built Better does sound good, it is kinda farther away than what I would prefer. Thanks for watching
It's fantastic you are getting out. A few years ago it was 72* in December, I went Christmas shopping on the bike 😊. Im glad you're getting Mr Max ready. You will have an amazing time with that bike. Get your carborators fixed check your tires and ride
Wow, what a pain to get that bike titled and legal. It's great to see you riding in December. BTW: I'm still not seeing your comments from you and a couple others. I'm unsure what is going on? All the best to you and your family this Christmas! 🎄
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures it was a long drawn out process to finally getting that bike in my name and legal. And hopefully sooner vs later I’ll be able to actually get it running right and be riding it. The whole comment thing has got me frustrated, to say the least.
