What you call the "Matchbook Holders" are actually Cassette Tape Players for the Stereo's... Cassette tapes were a step up from the old 8 Track Tapes from the 70's. Cassette Players were used before Compact Disks became Popular.

I’ve got the same color and year GMC Vandura, but mine is a Starcraft. Many similar features to yours. Found mine in Myrtle Beach, SC where it was stored and covered with a tarp in a barn for years. Original miles was 21,500 miles. Had to replace tires and everything rubber or rubberized, (like belts, spark plug wires, etc.). Finish after clean up is immaculate. Only other thing I’m going to do is replace the motorized antenna with a manual one, along with a more modern Bluetooth am/fm radio and CD player.
@Brettski94 with an older van door seals might be leaking and need to be replaced as well. Motor and regulator probably need replacement as a result of water damaging motor and rusting regulator.
