Despite saying neither Toriel nor Asgore managed to spark feelings back to him; he still did good and helped everyone the best he could. And he even felt guilt initially when he started killing, trying to justify it as "something he is just curious about". He still somewhat found of Papyrus, Chara and obviously of Toriel.
I love Toriel just saying, “Leave.😊” to Sans after his comment about the dog. Edit: “DON’T WORRY ALPHYS, I WON’T LET YOU GET PICKED LAST!” i love when Papyrus just casually flays people alive without realizing it because he genuinely thought he was being nice.
Maybe, however I think its mostly due to how asgor is a Boss monster, he stopped ageing after asriel died, meaning he would see his best friend Die of old age
Could be a way to show how some people have different lives on both worlds notice how asgore doesn't mention anything about one of rudys girls being lost dess and noelle are okay in undertale rudy died rudy is ....there kinda on deltarune and dess disapeared
I like to see this characters just living their live without the burden of their kind. It feels like they actually got the ending they deserve. To think that I give them a happy life up on the surface, it fills me with determination and hope...

Asgores dialogue makes me thing about deltarune- and although deltarune was out by the time this was out (the dialogue itself) it makes me wonder, is there really several versions of characters that are in deltarune that are also in undertale beciase as shown in chapter two of deltarune, it implies when noelle (Rudy’s daughter you meet) and Kris are talking about the pass that she had an older sister who was also friends with asriel and Kris along with noelle. This makes me wonder terribly I’d undertale and deltarune truly are connected in a way. In this dialogue it seems Rudy is d3@d. However in deltarune he is just hospitalized. It’s interesting the small references to each game in all these little things, you saying hello again to sans, sans and papyruses house and grillbys turned supermarket. 01 and 02 all the undertale characters and more to come but also things that don’t seem to be officially in the lore but still exist such as asgores dialogue here. I’m dying to know and understand more as the chapters go on, also I oh so do hope that Rudy does not d1e in deltarune like he has in undertale. Although it seems the fates of noelles sister and her dad have switched since, in this dialogue which is undertale dialogue, asgore continues to say daughters instead of daughter and speaking as if Rudy was gone. However in deltarune noelle speaks as if her sister was gone and since we literally talk to him we know Rudy is alive. Interesting the lore in these universes. I love it.
Yes the Alarm Clock dialogue overall leans more into the "I have places to go" option, it's more likely for it to be canonical one, however, the only character that could possibly be talking to Flowey and asking questions from information they received from Flowey is Frisk, as we know that canonically Flowey only shows himself to Frisk and Papyrus.
@@CyberDucke Nah, at no point whatsoever there's a single "Human, kiddo, punk, my child" etc, shown throughout all dialogues, japanese dialogue has been analyzed too and while it's a more complex topic due to the difference in language, the end result is the same as the english version, Frisk is also not on the Papyrus party or the Snow Hockey game, the alarm clock is intentionally written to leave Frisk out as much as possible and we know they're present solely due to Flowey and the info he shares, if the Flowey branch didn't exist, there wouldn't be any real evidence of Frisk being there, that's how barren it is in that regard.
