My husband is laughing at me over how over-the-moon I am about these matchboxes. I've been working on gifts (24!) and wondering how to present them. This box is perfect and so easy to create. Just one tweak... I am lining the inside top cover with a sturdy piece of cardstock to give it more stability. Thank you!
Genius! You are so creative and I can't thank you enough for sharing your talent with us. I would be here a year trying to figure out how to do this, LOL. Thank you, Bona,
So cute! I love my envelope maker. Can't wait to make these& put goodies in them. Thanks so much for sharing another use for our tool. Seasons blessings ~~MarieMac~~
You know something is an oldie but goodie when you get a post on a project almost 7 years later! 😁 So I won't be surprised if you don't have the dimensions. Is it possible for you to give me the paper and punch measurements for the largest box in this video? Pretty please? Just in case you're wondering I'm going way back on your videos to learn how to-do things. They're very informative and I'm having a blast! ❤ Thank you for being so creative and sharing your talent. I think I'm going to call you Dr. Crafter!
Bona you're on fire....girl busting out all these great projects using the various boards! Love.....them! I'll definitely be trying these. There's a project I've been wanting to make from a mailer I received some time ago. I believe making the drawer will work for that. tfs ~ Tracey J.
Hey Bona! Woman, you are just amazing ... Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful ideas using the envelope punch board! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! xoxo, Linda
Oh my gosh...you are a genius! I do love all these ideas you are coming up with for this envelope punch board. I haven't even taken mine out of the wrapping! I will now! Does the size you made in this tutorial fit a standard Gift Card? Thank you!
I would love to see a tutorial on how to do the cover for the drawer you did in this video. I am having a little trouble with it. Thanks so much!!!-- Bea :)
the cover is just a sleeve with the measurements just a hair bigger than the box part so it can slide in. for a visual pretend a deck of cards is the "drawer" part. And the deck's packaging box is the "cover". or..lol now i feel dorky🤣 a matchbox. not a matchBOOK but a matchBOX. My Auntie got fumbled over that too. I hope that helped out or at least made u giggle.🤣😅
Hi Bona, I liked the video, but I wished you would’ve showed us how to make the cover to put the drawer in. I am new to papercrafting and I am learning so much from your videos.
Thank you! The largest I was able to create with a 12" x 12" (Punch at 4", 5"), was a 5 1/4" x 6 1/2" box. The only thing, I didn't have a large enough paper to create a cover. If you have paper larger than a 12" x 12", you can definitely create a cover.
Love the big box! Great idea for the xmas tags that I make and give as gifts. Do you have the size of the big box and what about a cover? Thanks very much!
I want to make a little match box much like the ones you purchase in the stores with matches in them.. any ideas of how to calculate the size paper I would need as well as the punches and scores Id have to make. Been playing around and I cant get it to work out.
49Nutmeg I have the same question, what number do you start for the larger box. I wouldn’t think it would be 2 but I don’t know. I just made one successfully using a 9 x 9 piece of paper and punched it three and four then I took a 12 x 12 sheet of paper and wrapped it around the box for the cover it was perfect.
I am very very bad in measurements, and i can't make the cover... I loooove my box, thanks to you, but i am so sad not being able to make the cover.. I've tried 3 times... Hugs Sabine
love this, I dislike this punch board and I think I can play with t now since you found another way to create things :) I always use my MS board but I will have to dig that board out to make these match boxes tfs HUGS CINDY
Oh wow... I am so glad you have done this. You had already inspired me to go out and get the bag punch board, now I am going to have to go out and get the envelope punch board too!!! Tfs very easy instructions. Wasn't able to "Like" but I do.

So lovely! Do you have a tutorial for a matchbox that could fit A2 size cards? Or 4 1/4 x 5 1/2?
Hi Bona, I liked the video, but I wished you would’ve showed us how to make the cover to put the drawer in. I am new to papercrafting and I am learning so much from your videos.

Awesome thank you. I just put it in my xmas list. LOL

Tfs they are really sweet. I need a box 5 1/2 inches or 6. Any ideas on what size paper to start with? Thank you
Thank you! To create the drawer, I used an 8"x8" and punched at 4",5". The cover is 5 3/16" x 9 3/4" (Score 3/4", 4 1/2", 5 1/4", 9").
Thank you very, very much. I am definitely going to make some.
LiveLoveScrap Thanks for your tutorial... the big box was made with the same punch board or exist a big one?.. thanks
Thx for sharing. Neat idea
awesome!! thanks so much for sharing!!
so cool! TFS
Nice. How do you create the top part? Thanks for sharing
Great idea!
I love this!!
Wish you would explain how to do the cover! Some of us can't figure it out! :-)
I want to make a little match box much like the ones you purchase in the stores with matches in them.. any ideas of how to calculate the size paper I would need as well as the punches and scores Id have to make. Been playing around and I cant get it to work out.
Thanks for this video. I'm not good with measurements, but how can I make a box that's 1 1/2 by 2 1/2? Or something close to it. Thanks :)
Hi Ate Bona, would you be able to provide me the measurement of that bigger matchbox as well as its cover?
love it !! :)
For larger boxes do you still keep the punching at the 2" and 3"?
49Nutmeg I have the same question, what number do you start for the larger box. I wouldn’t think it would be 2 but I don’t know. I just made one successfully using a 9 x 9 piece of paper and punched it three and four then I took a 12 x 12 sheet of paper and wrapped it around the box for the cover it was perfect.

wonderful, please give the dimensions for the cover or show that to in another video please
The cover is 3 3/4" x 6 5/8". At the 6 5/8" score at 5/8, 3, 3 5/8, 6.
Sooo cute
How do you create the cover?
Awesome!
you are so clever x
Can you give me mesurements for that biggest one you have on your video
I think it would be 3 and 4. Try that with a 9x9 size paper. Good luck!
Very good tutorial! How cool. TFS ; )
