I found Sofia through Ren's comment under another song (also great and I recommend listening - "I can be your mother"). Since then I have been listening to her catalog and I am impressed. This is an important voice for feminism, conveying real emotions instead of stupid slogans repeated without understanding by some activists and ridiculing and diminishing problems that require real reflection.
Thank you so much for sharing. I can be your Mother will be the next one from Sophia I check out. I have had someone else mention that song as well. I appreciate you friend! 🙏💜🧸
I'm a 51 year old woman that chose to never have children even when I had to take birth control pills behind my only husband I ever had behind his back and I'm proud to not ever had children tbh
After a certain amount of time in my transition, I caught that predator look on a man's face in a bar. Once you see it for the first time, you never forget it.
You should definitely listen to more of her music but if you like the vibe of this Paris Paloma and Kiki rockwell are incredible artists that speak on feminist topics also...
Thank you for sharing! I am definitely a fan of any Artist that challenge societal issues. I believe it's very important and there is not enough support for those ideals. I appreciate you! 💜🤘🧸
I just found her and wanted to see if there are reactions to her songs, but there aren't many. Yours is great! She has other amazing songs too, and an incredible music video that came out a few days before this video.
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow Well my first introduction was the official music video for "I can be your mother", and my jaw was on the floor, so that would be interesting.
I’m a 44 year old queer woman. 5 feet tall 130 lbs. I do not seem intimidating. However. If I see a guy checking a girl out, I’ll walk up to him and do the same thing. Usually they call me a “weirdo”. And I say. yup. just so you’ll leave me alone. 🙂
Thank you for really listening and taking in the depth of this song. Ive seen men on this platform react to songs on this topic and completely miss the point. I feel heard and seen. We accept your application 😊❤
Omg, okay. Custom work playlist is (and in this order): The Doll People, Everybody Supports Women, I Can Be Your Mother, Us and Pigs, Sex Concept and Hot Gum. Another EXTREMELY honorable mention is Labour by Paris Paloma (the live lyrics video).
I have hit The Doll People, Everybody Supports Women, I Can Be Your Mother, Us and Pigs, and labour by Paris Paloma! Need to hit Sex Concept and Hot Gum still from Sofia 💜🧸
Copied from her official website, her bio: "SOFIA ISELLA (age 19). Classically trained violinist. Songwriter, producer. A slut for words. I've never lost a fight with a tiger." No one should have to feel that their gender, or how they identify across the board- religiously, politically, orientation, etc. should determine how they are treated as a human being. True, only female persons can bear a child, but Mr. misogynist macho male seem to think it makes him better than she in whatever convoluted thinking that is. Great song, great vocal quality, powerful lyrics. 🧸
Sad emo girl vibe 🙌🖤 We're here for it! In my opinion there are many artists who are a bit overrated (they're doing a good job, don't get me wrong) and there are artists who are massivly underrated. Sofia needs to be heard and seen. But I think with her and Ren and many "niche-like" artists their art will never be or can't be appreciated by everyone. Because their art is not vanilla enough for the masses or to be very precise it's the opposite of vanilla. I can play any generic vanilla pop song from todays charts (I refuse to say any names 😆) to my grandma and she wouldn't mind listening to it but she also wouldn't be able to tell 3 different songs apart by different artists. But show her THIS and it would irritate her, probably like a lot of people. So I think Sofia's, Ren's, Chinchilla's (oh yeah, buckle up for this rabbit hole too), etc. art I would only show to people who would like to experience something they've never seen before, listen to something different, ... . Show this to someone who would appreciate this new fresh fascinating path of art. All the others I wouldn't bother showing them any of this. They wouldn't get it. We say about Ren's music "Some get it, some don't and some 'GET IT'!" Same for Sofia. Sorry for the rambling but I think you're a genuine reactor and since you're going down the rabbit holes I thought I want to share my thought on this topic because you will ask yourself over and over again why not more people know about them, and if you've been living under a rock and why you only hear of them now. It's because this art finds you, not the other way around. Big love 💜💜💜
I really really enjoyed reading your comment. You have solidified that I need to add Chinchilla to my list. I could not agree with you more on pretty much everything you said. I really do appreciate you taking the time to construct this comment. It means alot. I appreciate you friend! 🙏💜🧸
She is masterpiece and art yet it will never become for the big crowd bexaue it brings to much emotions.. I hope I am wrong though as it really needs to be heard. I have enough of feminism in the western world but this is reality in all part of the world and nothing about feminism but humanity... We are humans.
Interesting, another new one for me as well. I know I saw today’s reactions backwards, I went for TW first to get ahead of the mass stampede!!! I’m assuming you’re being super smart doing this, VOB and Narcissista together??? This song is hard hitting, but it can’t be a generalisation. There’s plenty of men who make the effort to not “be that guy”. But you’re right, it’s a fine line between a look, because your genetics are telling you that the person in front of you is attractive to you, and a stare because it’s something you need to own!!!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The Warning stampede is another story! So much so I didn't even see this comment till now. Appreciate your support across the channel! 💜🤘🧸
I really reccomend The Doll People by Sofia Isella, it has such a strong message, I haven't been able to find anyone that's reacted to it yet

Nothing wrong with choosing to not have children. It should be every woman's choice and not be criticized for making the decision either way. 💜🧸
