The Most Lively Colorful and Fun to walk around airport, Sheremetyevo airport (SVO) in Moscow Russia. It's fun to walk around in this busiest airport in Russia. And as the 13th busiest airport in Europe.
In 2024, open 2 terminals. Terminal B for domestic flights and Terminal C for International flights. Most of the airport serving Aeroflot, the Russia National airline.
In my winter trip in Russia, most tourists I saw are Chinese, others are Thai, Vietnamese and Arab.
It is very convenient to travel from Moscow city to the airport and vice versa, within only almost one hour and the train comes at every 30 minutes.

So far, SVO Moscow airport is my favorite international airport. I like the lively and modern atmosphere, not boring to walk around :) The only weak point is : there's free wifi but if your device does not have a sim card, you cannot register. And especially all metros have wifi but you need Russian number to connect to wifi.

Hi, actually there are 3 major International airports in Moscow. SVO is the biggest and most modern one. Everything I saw here in SVO is new !!
12 years back I travelled to Russia for the first time, at that time I landed into Domodedovo Airport. But now I guess more flights using SVO airport instead.
In 1990, which is 34 years back, if you flied into SVO. That's interesting. But all are renovated now as you saw in my video :) Thank you.
@@ALazyTourist ...yes ,It was as I wrote in okt.1990 and I used CSA Prague-Bratislava-Moscow Sheremetyobo 2...and as I am remembering this building inside was very modern full of western marks I was really surprised,because I flaw via Omsk-Irkutsk to Pchjongjang abd Airports in Siberia were in bad condition at that time. Anyway, I prefer Vnukovo. It's much more cozy, less crowded and accessible by metro.
Hahha it sounds like we have different styles. I like fun & busy airport like SVO. With all my flights (international and domestics), all just landing in SVO. No chance to visit Vnukovo. Vnukovo can be reached by metro ! - that's interesting. Metro in Moscow is very cheap and convenient !!!! I love Moscow metro so much :)

It's a shame you won't be able to fly to Italy, or the French riviera from there.... or the spanish sierra nevada.... oh well.... maybe next century.

This time of my Russia travel, I found that young Russian people were soooo nice and they tried to help foreign tourists. They helped us with their best efforts, even some didn't speak English to us. The older people were so nice too.

Дорогуша, наши граждане спокойно летают по всему миру, также и в самой России есть куда лететь, страна огромная и прекрасная, тут тебе и горы, и пустыни, и пляжи, и леса, и вулканы, и мегаполисы, каждый найдет для себя то, что ему по душе. Вот куда точно не хочется, так это в залитую навозом Европу.
