These are great picks but just keep in mind if something goes wrong with samsung or lg your own. The only people that can service it is there own and lets just say good luck getting your issues resolved. They put you through 5 different departments then tell you that they will call you back in 5 business days and never call. Buy a larger capacity washing machine if possible. I would recommend starting from 10 Kg, I use a 12KG washes and 10 KG heat pump dryer so I can wash and dry all bedding from my 4 bedrooms in one go. Hisense or its luxurious subbrand ASKO are good. If you care about budget, Haier is good. Haier is the world's largest home appliance manufacturer, and it owns brands like Fisher Paykel and GE Appliances which you might be more familiar with.
try to avoid a condenser dryer if you can choose a heat pump dryer. it will do a better job in terms of energy efficiency, fabric protection, duct/hair removal and etc.
Samsung washing machines are very unreliable. Mine needed a costly repair of motherboard replacement with one year of lite use. Samsung refrigerator had a cooling gas leak. Samsung 65 inch LED TV needed picture tube replacement. Lg is probably a more reliable brand.
