They have added gradient to word art in the drawing section of docs. Could save you some time instead of having to download pixlr or gimp.

I have a newer or different version of Google docs and I am not able to figure out how to change the horizontal fold to a vertical fold. It doesn't have the 'Table' tab that shows in your tutorial. So, all of the tutorials I found have everything but how to change to a vertical fold. I even typed the question in my Google search bar and found exactly the opposite of what I typed. *Sigh*

what if you don't have the option to use "tables" on docs, because if I go to help and type in tables, it would only show 2 by 2 rows... How do i only get 3 rows by itself and not 3 on the bottom.

I am having a problem with not being able to type from the left column to the middle to the right column. Instead, it just keeps putting the text only in the left column. I will click in the middle column to try to type and the cursor won't go there. I can only type in the left one. Please help.
