I think the reason why the game died was just because of the nature of the game. It's a party game. It's fun for like a week but then you move on as party games become repetitive very quickly.

Fall Guys was absolutely a "lightning in a bottle" concept, from day 1 everyone knew that the game's popularity would drop instantly if there wasn't a constant stream of new content flowing in
yea you needed a new map every day in order to peak my interest. It's a game in which you can play for a day and do everything you could do in the game.
Fall Guys is very overrated, people just play it because their favorite TH-camrs.
Literally the same could be said about Among Us. It only has so much update and new mechanics it can get with how linear the gameplay is. Watch it’s popularity drop in like a month or two.

@@MoldySalami okay "dead" may not be the right word for it currently but it is a dying game and will be dead if they dont keep adding new maps and have them more frequent, cause i played for 3 hours yesterday and played one of the new games and it was only twice. One my friends who stopped playing till the new update came out got so frustrated because not only did we not play a new game an hour in but we kept getting the same games in the same order 3 times in a row, this happens a lot and people are gonna be bored of the game, Among Us is free on mobile and is a much cheaper game then Fall Guys so some people usually flock to the cheaper option.
Even i got bored after playing it for a few weeks, personally they need more team games and have a team games only, with 4 people team games become so much better(Football especially) more 4 team multiplayer games too(tail tag sucks) so while not a dead game, it is dying and will die if they dont add more content very soon.
It used to have 150k+ players but now it barely gets 50k+.
Mate Product it dropped by 100k in less than a month. I’m not saying it’s dead, but that’s very scary for the devs.

I feel like among us got more “popular” in a way because Fall Guys can get repetitive really fast and you’re essentially just watching someone rage quit a million times in a stream. Personally I got bored of it really quickly so I stopped watching those videos. Among us is more fun because it brings a lot of unlikely TH-camr teams together but it has more mechanics and is funny to watch 💀💀
