I love his feathery tone on trumpet. Exactly my desired sound.
I love the subtle fluff tone which seems so easy for you to produce. And your lead sound is exciting as well. Great things in store for you my friend!
Is good trumpetist his sound beautiful, the improvisation is clear, I wish the best for you
What's in the water @ NorthGate? My god these trumpet players can play. BRAVO!!!
this teacher guy that teaches every trumpet with all his heart and effort, named Michael Miller
Really impressive stuff. Best of luck!
I love your improv creativity
Loving those high notes!

molto bravo. complimenti ottimo suono.
This guy really is something! Super pure tone, great improv, and a solid range! I would buy an album from him...
Very well done! Congrats!
Awesome dude.
Respect ✊🏽 love the tone
Amazing job! Great solo chair! It would be good to hear some different brighter color solos, like Latin stuff where you can intersperse it with some of your high range facility. What you have done hereis amazing.
Killing it Aiden XD
Aiden, Very nicely done.
Great playing
Well, looks like we got the jazz and lead chairs filled. Turn out the lights and lock the door when you leave.
Magnificent! Chet Baker all over again
some kids just have it.
It's either the direction he's facing or I'm just blind, but does aiden play offcenter?
JadenFez honestly who cares if he sounds good, I play offcenter
JadenFez
Yea. But it’s fine, Maynard played like that and he’s Maynard
Отлично!!
I can't wait to get my braces off. I miss my old sound.
Well done
I'm a senior trumpet player as well
you're killing it man sound smooth as hell
reminds of the great Chet
Don't quit cuz I know I ain't
Hope I get the chance to play with you when we're both pros
HS Senior? Wow, great chops man! Good feel on the solo stuff. I'd just say try and relax a bit more going up stairs...I could see the tension as you prepped for the F's, G's and A. Always tough on an audition. Don't get me wrong, sounded incredible...but your sound and chops are good and I think they'd even be better with a bit more relaxation in the upper register. Practice up to G's and A's as quiet as you can more than you play them loud. Practice relaxing the mind. You'll teach the brain that they aren't higher, they are just "another" note. Keep it up, you're one to watch for ;)
Good job
The question is do you want to make a living playing trumpet? Can you make a living playing trumpet? You'll have decide soon. I'd go for it if I was you!
Yeee thats my Boy Aidan #Gang
Great sound and melodic ideas!
Good Molto bravo tanti complimenti. Ciao
holy shit dude wow... fantastic
Jack Pakela - Trumpet qqQ
You sound so musical it is unbelievable! Keep it up! I was just wondering what mouthpiece do you use to hit those screaming notes?
Классно!!! Подскажите пожалуйста,на какой трубе играете и с каким мундштуком? Я подбираю себе трубу и мундштук. Мне нравиться Ваше звучание.
what mouthpiece is that?
Killin man!
Bet you listen to a lot of Don Fagerquist. IIf not, do! Great jazz sound!
You're in walnut creek. Go audition for Blue Devils.
You kinda remind me of Chet Baker
Man. I'm a sophomore and can barely reach up to a double G. You are so over- prepared for plenty of professional music groups!
Muito bom eu estou com dificuldade na em boca dura
1:52 Clifford Brown quote??
What song?
Turrent one of the songs off of A Night in Birdland w/ Art Blakey, I think it was Vol. 2
Now's the Time
i'm super late to this but i never noticed that. i remember that as a part of an exercise my teacher tom palance at a summer jazz camp taught me when i was first learning bebop scales haha. it had stuck with me. But I actually share a birthday with Clifford! Oct 30
Why do people keep telling these grammy audition trumpeters to audition for DCI you don't even know if they can march and play at that level.
We can.
Jonah Moss ly man
Big fucking man
Sure u can but if u wanted to march DCI idk if u would want to do grammy lead along with it.
King Dunlap Javier Astoria did
You’d be a great lead player man but like if you were 2nd trumpet you’d be ripping on all the solos and improv you’d get to do
So, what's this "lead" audition, and are you an automatic if you're try out for lead?
Rohan Buch it's on the website. And I do not think that's the case
Oo yes bby
Man sounds great! what mic u use?
What kind of horns and mouthpieces are you playing on?
guhmanrocks the secret is longtones
this is really late, but it was a marcinkiewicz bobby shew 1.25 for the lead stuff and a blessing 5c for billie's bounce and there is no greater love. Long tones and a lot of the exercises that charlie porter has on his channel is how you can build a strong foundation, but a shallower mouthpiece definitely helps.
Someone mentioned Chet Baker and I agree except your range is better than Baker's. What horn is that?
Trumpet
Chet never played very high(from what I've heard of his songs) so, it's not hard to have a bigger range then he did
@@davidalancrook lol
yamaha 8335 xeno, i know this is super late to this lol, chet is my favorite next to roy hargrove and freddie
nice
it's crazy to see so much talent in people so young. I find the poster in the back kind of ironic; this guy is probably a better trumpet player than Miles Davis.
Holy crap, I just keep finding you through the internet dont i😂
Emmanuel Acevedo not that Aidan not good but miles is on a different level bru
Emmanuel Acevedo I mean he’s good but miles is a legend and set the standards for jazz his entire life so...
What kind of mouthpiece do you use?
erasermouthvids long tones
i know i'm super late to this, but in the video i played on a marcinkiewicz bobby shew 1.25 for the lead stuff and a blessing 5c on the jazz stuff. i think you should use the right tool for the right job and i like a deeper cup for playing bebop stuff. The flugel mouthpiece was a bobby shew jazz flugel i think? I was using the flugelhorn from the school
tastyy
That’s my brother playing peeps xD
but he's my brother
I say go to DCI hell you would make it xD
harambe this is jazz... he likes jazz... stick with jazz... jazz won't ever forget you... jazz won't shoot you... jazz is not like the Cincinnati zoo
DAMN
DCI?
I’m a sophomore this year but I can only play up to a double G rn but I think that’s still pretty for just being a sophomore
Well im in 8th grade and I can ONLY play up to a DOUBLE C. Man i really gotta work on my range, i just need to get those high notes to show off even more.
Pickle of doom you mean a high c
no its a double c
btw thats on tuba
also that was supposed to be a joke
The last notes on the first one need work but great all the way around
Great solos man. But Lead ??? WTF ???
