Simms is $10 in Beckett. GOD forbid he finds anything of real value. Just keep in mind “ the sun has to shine on every dog’s butt at least once.” Happy hunting for sure.😊😊😊

Nice pull! The 3rd card in the 1st pack was the Phil Simms RC. SWEET!! I have one single pack of 1980 Topps Football that has never been opened. After the Phil Simms card, there wasn't much to brag about, except, I think that was Tony Dorsett's 3rd year card. Phil Simms Raw ($15.00 - $20.00) PSA 7 ($35.00 - $40.00) PSA 8 ($55.00 - $65.00) PSA 9 ($100.00 - $150.00) US Dollars. The PSA 7, 8 and 9 might be little more or a little less. We all know that eBay cards can fluctuate from time to time.
Did anyone else notice that all of the helmets were airbrushed? Didn't Topps have permission to use the team's logos back then, or are these cards reprints?
A PSA 10 common will go between $35-50. A 10 is extremely hard to get due to the centering issues with the set. A PSA 10 Stan Walter’s which he pulled in the first pack recently sold for 65. PSA 10 STEELERS CARD RECENTLY went for 270. PSA 10 of Bill Bergey went for almost $300, but keep in mind it has a pop 3.
You got a lot of great cards out of these packs. Not sure what you paid but If it wasn't much I would have been happy with that haul. Largent, Dorsett, Webster, Greenwood, Manning, Lofton. And I'm sure I missed a couple
Thank you for this TH-cam channel awesome 1980 that was a good year just had a sporting Good shop and I saw a 1980 Fred dryer football card I know he went on to play in Hunter as a detective in the 1980s I seen a Terry Bradshaw for 1980s he wanted four bucks for his card not certified just in a holder I wasn't going to buy it cuz a coroner was nicked so thank you for the memories I was born in 1974 I'm in Wisconsin Irish sports shop doesn't do Irish sports shop doesn't do much Irish sports shop doesn't do much Irish sports shop doesn't do much and Irish sports shop doesn't do much what's certified football cards are baseball because he said the young kids would not be able to afford certification cards in 1987 when me and my dad started collecting cards you do not have certification places you could send your cards in for a slab you just to take the owner's word that the cards were in excellent condition Wisconsin

Nice cards, but a shame team logo's, like on helmets, were largely taboo for this set. The plain helmets look strange.
