Odd time to give an evil speech, when being questioned and trying to avoid a murder charge. The writers dropped the ball a bit towards the end of this episode.
If I'm not seeing things, that's Fisher Stevens....one of the supporting characters of "Undisputed", played as 'Ratbag.' The movie that also had Peter Falke as a supporting character. Wow. I knew I recognized something about him. It's the nose. It's always somewhat amazing how these actors end up reuniting in other projects.
@Janet Louise You are 100% correct Janet...it is indeed the Blue Danube...one of my favorite pieces of classical music that I first heard in the movie Trapeze with Burt Lancaster & Tony Curtis. Cheers, Doons
Such a hokey, cringey episode, like it was written by a novice writer for Us Weekly, fantasizing what "Glamorous Hollywood" is like. Fisher Stevens was the perfect B-tier ham to play the embarrassingly ludicrous Alex Bradey, which could only be topped if the role was played by a precocious kid actor like the one from the magician episode.
The waltz music, and Columbo walking aimlessly around the lot, hardly feel like padding at all.
"It's a good thing I wore my raincoat!"
lmao he's adorable.
The episode where Columbo escapes being encased in bronze was great.
😂
Those shots near the end were so brilliant
Wow I enjoy watching Columbo episodes all of them 2 thumbs up
Did you know it would take 86 hours and 51 mins to watch all of Columbo
Challenge accepted sir!
Who watches it only once?
This is close to 100% padding.
One of my favorite episodes.
I watched this episode two times the past few weeks
Broski was just having fun watching the scene unfold and smiling at Columbo, meanwhile my mans was on the verge of dying 💀
This guy is legit an anime villain. He even kinda looks like Light Yagami.
Anime was drawn after 1970s figures so itdosemt supprise me

It wouldn’t surprise me either. 😁
The poor Lieutenant, Mr Brady was trying to make him sick on purpose!!! 🙄
Fisher is great here!
We love Detective Columbo
Battlestar Galactica still rules, its theme song still gets me riled up!

أنا أحب ذلك. أنا أحب كولومبو! أتمنى أن أراه هنا في مصر أيضًا. لدي منهم على دي في دي
How many times from beginning to end did Columbo call him sir?
I liked the episode, but i hated that ending.
So did I!
I thought it was creative
Columbo was giving him his own medicine
explain why
The culprit seems an evil version of Doogie Howser.
Great description! 😂
Or of a young Steven Spielberg, who wrote for the series in its first season.
This was on last night...
The villain also played the villain in Hackers (1995)
What's the classical music that plays when Columbo and the murderer are riding the film crew vehicle?

YO WAGNER!
Was he based on Steven Spielberg ?
Probably. Spielberg got his start at Universal, which was where Columbo was produced. But it's doubtful that Spielberg was as asinine as this guy was
Spielberg directed the very first Columbo episode, Murder by the Book. So he was mostly likely an influence.
Oddly enough the actor in this movie, Fisher Stevens, did win an Oscar.
@@areoborg And the kid in the computer war game episode was called Steve Spielberg. He programmed the robot.
Never seen this before
Ah yeah, the one with the Cylons.
CYLONS!
I like when Peter Falk says "I'm Sorry Slanty" to the Oriental guy.
