Dont say he cries like a baby he has a right to cry. The man lost his son, and this happened while he was in military school. Think before you place your title. I hope his resturant will open someday.
That moment that he says "I've been shot at, trucks exploded, and i'm still here" it just screams of compassion and guilt about his son. Bless this guy's heart, he is a man like no other. I bawled like a little child.
Men who had scars of war and scars of mentality that survived the wars to save millions. Deserve to have those tears in their eyes released, because they have seen hell, and finally he's free and with his family
I'm not American, but this soldier has all my respect. To know that men who risk their life, see the worst scenarios and things of the world, who see the death every single day around them, and still can have such deep and sweet dreams... gives me hope that after all mankind is not so brutal as i thought
Only a true man will carry on a dream or will for someone else who doesn't have the choice, whether that being friend of foe. This man is an inspiration to people who are about to give up. Soldier on and carry on till your mission is completed! :)
I personally think that the bald guy was struggling saying no, maybe thats a wrong assumption but i felt like he was guilty about his opinion after he heared his story and i would say he did the right thing. It would be wrong if he made false promises by saying yes.
We forget that our soldiers are capable of showing emotion. We see them as tough people meant for times of war. We need to take time to consider what they've been through. To anyone suffering from PTSD, please don't ever think that you're alone. Even if a civvi like me can't relate to what you've seen or been through, I'm willing to listen. I would love to hear your story. You've been through so much and sacrificed alot. You gave your life for us, now it should be our turn to return it.
He seems like a very sincere and well spoken dude and very humble,he probaly from the country part of the island, came to meet Jamaicans from the country areas such as Portland and St.Elizabeth and they seem to be very reserved and mild mannred people like this guy, anyway wish him all the best.
Howard i in no way intend to disrespect you as a matter of fact its the total opposite. I totally respect you and i want to big you up first for you service and secondly for cooking real atical jamaican food. BIG UPS
God bless this man heart! He’s serving our country and knowing that is remarkable but what is more amazing is he walks with a heavy heart ♥️Each day knowing his son isn’t with him durning this journey. In honor of his son and his whole family I hope he gets his future restaurant and god bless them all from beyond and above
Good man. Proud to be an American knowing we have people like him serving our country. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done and you are a great father.

this brave man is crying for a reason, not like all those other people going crying like *crying* "i cant make food good but i still try because my favorite pan got scratched"
Joe on 1:20 : this is garbage, he actually didn't put much salt & pepper, im gonna tell him & throw him up Joe on 2:35 : oops... That wasn't a good idea...
Just happened with Me too just now as well, I just really wish that more People would do the same as Him too and really just in General Express Their ("Personal Feelings And Emotions") a little more Often because otherwise if not...Well then at least Talk It Out with a Really Close Friend or Co-Worker and Discuss about How their Day is going and also about how They're ("Feeling Both Physically And Emotionally") and I've already Noticed that More N'More People now these days are now doing it.!!
We as a man are allowed to cry. It doesn't mean that we are weak it means we are human and that we are strong to express how we feel. Think before you put something in your title or karma will get you, just saying.
@@YorkwinWalters Thank you, remember. We are all human at the end of the day and all we wanna sometimes do is cry. Thanks for changing the title and thank you for having the heart to respect other opinion💙💙
The women *in to there* are a little different" just how their dialect is. I play NHL20 and have also played hockey in person with the same guy from Newfoundland and he speaks English of course but his dialect is different. Since i have played hockey with hundreds of Canadians I understand his meanings and conversations and slang. He just talks differently and with an accent. I will say something like "Yeah I was trying to cut in low and along the boards but I was cut off. Sorry bro" he would say "Yes, by, I saws you headin up theres so I threw in the puck but when you tried to get out of his way I handy bout died when you fell flat on." Meaning No way! I saw you heading up there so I passed you the puck but once you tried to dodge that guy I almost died laughing when you fell on your ass"
Bringing your uniform to a audition is kinda a disgrace because your using it to get compassion out of the judges, plus add the story, its kinda fucked. BUT his food, what he should be judged on, looks fucking amazing. You cant blame the guy, because the judges asked him, he didnt come out with it. But like I said his food looks beautiful and yummy. So I think he deserved the apron, but so did many others. Just wish he didnt bring his fucking uniform and cook in it. I never served, but my father and brothers did. And I know they would never wear their uniform outside of a military function. I dont know why but it just feels like he is using it.
Ringrose served honorably and retired. He is proud to have been in the military, and so am I. I support his decision. He has done nothing to disgrace the uniform.
I’m gonna say this, to show up to a competition wearing his uniform is a chump move by trying to get votes off the uniform. The cheesy salute while walking is completely out of the standard. Lastly he said he was shot at and had trucks he was in blown up but doesn’t have a combat action badge seems like bs. Hate every bit of it.

Yes sir
Big up this man

No
It’s the strongest men that cry.
No, but the most honest

Happy to report, Ringrose is retired after 21+ years of honorable service.
I'm happy they gave him a chance especially after that hear breaking story
I would love to see the story of this man at where he went onwards … heart breaking to lose a child like that ….. the pain never goes away

Haven't cried this much in a while

Heros don't wear capes, they wear dog tags.
Chummbo dog tags and combat boots
Wow, I burst into tears the exact same he did! :( God bless the man.

oh boy. first off, that looks really good. but god damn, that is heartbreaking to hear about his son.
A Huge Salute for the
Soldier
Honestly, I felt it for Joel. It's easy to see he wanted his son to continue living on in some way, and this was the way he chose to do it.
Mi luv fi 👀 when Jamaica's a progress.
Survival Guilt is awful.. losing s son too.. it's like double PTSD..
Joe on 1:20 : this is garbage, he actually didn't put much salt & pepper, im gonna tell him & throw him up

Behind every struggle the story shows
What happened to this guy? I can’t find any other videos of him on masterchef can someone please give me an update.
Same bro
Unfortunately, he couldn't make it through the next test and he had to return his apron and go home
You can watch the episode in which he was eliminated: th-cam.com/video/NbSvG6Gt9eg/w-d-xo.html
Hope u get ur restraint best of luck to u
Andy marley mead restaurant you mean?
I cried
I'm crying
He is not a devil dog
Crying isn't a bad thing, it's a human thing and it needs to be normalised that everyone does it, even the strongest men and women
Its pretty sad he didn't make it thru auditions.
I meant like there's like the thing before actual Masterchef where they got to the warehouse.
I agree, but Semper Fi fits this guy. He is always faithful to his goals and ambitions. Though Devil Dog doesn't fit, I believe the motto does.
Technically neither do. Devil dog and semper fi are synonymous with the Marines. He is Army. As a former soldier myself. We never used those terms.
Damm 😢
This is so sad :(
Joel, you fucking rock on! Do it for your son! do it for him, this is what you wanted to do for him! Blow everyone's fucking minds out with your food.
glad hes got passion you know guys ?
Hold dem joel. Real yard man.
How far did he go? I didn’t watch that season
I think he got eliminated right in the next episode

I cringed at the drum thigh breast joke.
What season
Season 3
Thank you
My mistake gentlemen
Exactly...I understand what he meant by the title, but it was a poor choice of words.
What season is this?
Season 3
Following orders for his country man. Something you will never be able to do.
WHO won?
Thank god
How can you say he cries like a baby? He lost his own son, he has been in wars, how would YOU feel if you had that in your past?
Kay, go up to a group of Marines and call them soldiers, and then find some Army guys nearby and call them Devil Dogs in front of them.

He killed himself in the end 😔
What? Where do you have this information from?
No bro , guy who killed himself was Josh Marks also US Army Veteran
Oh look stolen valor
He's Army, not Marines.
