Can you please tell your camera man that not EVERY shot needs to be done with a moving camera? The whole video has a nervous appearance. This is not an action movie! (same goes for the music btw)
looks fine to me
Moving camera may cause disconcentration, please just use it to improve the techinical view of object. And it is terrible for viewing in double velocity. Thanks, and dont stop the projects!
A nervous appearance? FFS, it's a sad world when a man has anxiety while watching men do men shit and they get nervous because of how the camera moves. Go watch something about unicorns and rainbows if you can't handle it.
Jep 10 seconds into the clip and i know exactly what you mean
yeah maybe the cameraman can use a motorized slider or dolly track tripod .. it can give more stability ada better to watch ❤ , i love all ur videos anyway ! from Malaysia ❤❤🎉🎉
Now you need a rust-dust removal machine. Better get building one!
A big one!!!!
Project 0149 coming!
Well, the casing needed to be made with an exit for the vacuum cleaner!
that plus the drive roller is on the wrong side, or better there should be one on each side.
@@xConundrumx I think if you do that the brush motor direction should be reversed as well.
Следующее видео: вытяжка для этого станка. А так классная работа👍
you can install another actively moving roller on the oposite side with a v-belt, also can do a square like housing from the dust side that ends up into a vacuum. If you do these 2 mods you will have the ultimate rust remover machine
Thank you for the plans. Love all the videos!!!!!!!
Love the vids. If I could make an editing suggestion, it would be much appreciated if you filtered out some of the high KHZ noise, maybe 8khz and above? It's especially harsh in the fast forward montages.
Дай Бог вам здоровья, средств и бесконечных идей! Радует что Родина не обделена самородками как вы! Удачи!
Like a wood planer for metal retooled for rust removal. Great work as always. Just needs a rust/dust collector on the entry side of the device.
Cool build
I'm def seeing a shop vac dust collector in the future
Absolutely great job, a nice idea and a lot of work. Congrats !
The construction is craftsmanship at it's best. You know exactly what you are doing !!
Thank you for your support and your good comments! :)
That’s one way to create a firestorm in the comment section. Expertly crafted content that stretches the imagination.
I am always very happy to see when you upload a new video, I love your machines and they inspire me!
The idea of the dust remover is very good. You could even adapt it to a surface grinder or polisher as others already said. Even if I consider you my masters, I would like to make 2 recommendations:
1: You really should add a dust collector. It just has to be a sheet dome with a connector to a vacuum, but you have to care more about your health, and also the flying rust increases the pace at which metal rusts in your workshop.
2: Don't torch the wood while you grind it. Sawdust is extremely flammable and one enough wood dust volume has filled the air it's gonna create a huge fireball.
Lovely video as always, greetings from your biggest fan.
Love this! Only addition I would make besides some sort of dust collection is adding a front feeder that is chain/belt driven by the rear feeder to make the first foot or so of feed in a consistent speed before it reaches the rear feeder. May not be easy with the motor height controls on the left side, but I figure the sprockets/pulleys would be on the right with just an adjustable support on the left. Same idea as the rear feeder except just the opposite side. The idea may not be worth the trouble. Might just be an OCD thing. 😂 I wish I had a shop to learn to do just a fraction of the things you do on this channel. Very inspiring!
Yum, flying rust particles
My thoughts exactly.
Womp womp
dust collector.
Sorry, can't talk. My lungs are full.
It's iron, relax, our bodies can handle it...not as if its silica...🙄
I’ve never seen someone chamfer like that. What a bloody time saver!
Running a file down the edge? Do it all the time quickest way to knock a burr or sharp corner down without having to use your tooling to do it
@@RobertNowagarski no to move both axis on the lathe at the same time to move diagonally
Some dust collection would be great 😃👍
Anyways, great invention 👍👍
Plasma drill press was new to me. Cool.
"Зеленый" Как обычно фантазия не даёт покоя рукам 👍👍👍 продолжай!!!
Ok you rocked on this one... It blow my mind.
Love your builds, thanks for sharing them! 👏
A hopefully useful tip: spring gas cylinders are often mounted upside down (as much as possible) so their oil lubricates the seals. Makes the gas inside last longer; looks odd but works better.
Pretty cool. Very useful. All the junk yard warriors are jealous now.
heheh indeeed. thank you for your support!
Version 2.0 should have auto-adjusting height using springs so you don't have to make manual adjustments
Your chest X-rays are going to be amazing!
Awesome. Your machine works perfectly. Well done, dude.😃😃😀😀😄😄👍👍
Awespme engineering. I love it. Just add a rust dust collector/vacuum and it's complete
So... the roller bearings are never going to go bad? Since you put them in the frame via through bolts, then welded the frame around it... how are you going to replace them when they fail? Should have slotted them instead of through bolted. Otherwise, you're going to jave to cut the frame apart to replace a roller.
cut once and you wont have to cut it again. very small detail in the big picture.
20:10 would love to see his face reaction getting smothered with all that rust :D Nice work!
Glad to see you've finally built one of these. I saw one of these being built years ago though it had 3 sides of wire wheels at about 9 inches wide and was adjustable. The guy used nothing but rusty metal and was onrle of his first builds. If your using rusty metal building yourself one of these is definitely a must ..nice one extreme
I'm from India
Your all work is amazing
Best wishes for all team
You should put a roller right under the wire wheels so they hit the beginning and end of the work piece with the same pressure. Good job though.
Edit: An infeed top roller would also help.
I really like your videos 😀
How to spend 80hrs and $7k to do what you could do with a $15 grinder just to breath the same rust dust.
Hell yeah! 🤘🏼😂
In reality, everything that a machine do, you can do with your hands, with this way to thinking, would be a reason to exist any automatic machines.
@@MiniCasaBrasileira until they take over the world
great work and great idea thanks my dear friend ❤♥
As always great job my friend😉
Man- U definitely get the best drugs bro! Keep on truckin!!
You should add another brush part on the side. 2 sides at a time!
It's not a bad machine but it needs an emergency stop you can reach from both sides, and ideally a push stick. Like other comments pointed out, that thing is an arm mutilator if you get too close
Loved it. Maybe make an attachment for drum sander disks, and consider adding a second puller ahead of the spinning wheels to have a more consistent speed.
Nice professional build. We shared this video on our homemade tool forum last week 😎
Brilliant thanks
nice job. Functional can be expanded by replacing wire brushes to scotchbrite wheels.
Hight adjusting system is easy to make, but difficult to use. I think spring loaded adjuster may be more handy.
And definitely need to add a fender with a vacuum pump to take away and absorb rust particles and wood dust.
But it still a good shop made machine. Way to go.
really cool I would have placed a support for the shaft opposite to the motor to increase the insability of the brushwheel. Anyway AMAZING JOB !!! as usually 10+ Result !
Why you don’t make a dust filter? For wood and rust particles?
Make it Extreme, This video is fantastic! I liked it a lot!
Thank you! :)
Ok, I see, I need a whole factory to do such machine
Very cool and very useful
Love the idea, but this one needed a lot of bugs worked out.
After 4 passes there was already a wear pattern on the wire brushes. The whole motor could have been clocked 15-20 degrees to ensure all brushes made contact.
Feeding was from the wrong side and double feed rollers should have been used.
A dust shield with vacuum port would help keep a user healthy.
this is like watching somebody build a automatic breakfast cooking mousetrap boardgame machine
im waiting for the eggs to roll down shutes crack open into pans, toasts popping out and flying onto plates lol
Amazing machine❤
Title alone told me these guys are making a metal planner, that or a massive sandblasting setup.
Good job on the Extreme bits !
Highly suggest putting a trap and lid on that. Also, wouldn't a plainer work better for wood?
Чувак да ты чёртов гений!!!
😂😂😂😂
I have two drum sanders for woodworking. I was thinking about converting one to use for metal. Any thoughts? They’re both 220 V motors
Super cool as always, dust extraction would have been nice 😊
Отличная нужная приблуда, руки золотые у тебя! Думаю пылеотвод ты придумаешь. Удачи с твоими проектами.
A connection to vacuum is much needed as rust in the air is bad! Not mentioning the wood dust
the first bed roller in front and after the brush head should be powered and have a down pressure roller in front and after the brush head as well. a dust collection hood would a bonus, otherwise the whole thing needs to live outdoors
Now you need a dust extractor. Just an idea for next video.
Way cool, guys. A question: you choose to do not realize a support for the shaft of the engine to have the possibility of cleaning wider pieces?
Add auto spring adjustment system according to the size of the pipe
Без пылесоса просто жесть, а так круто
AWESOME! Such creativity and skills!
Now spray paint it.
I wipe down and spray paint all my good scrap metal so it doesn't rust (I live in a humid area) This works great to prevent the rust and the paint comes off easily using a paper towel and Acetone.
C'est super vous avez toujours des bonnes idées 👍
Welldone very useful!
Nice, excellent.
You could also add extraction system as you can clearly see where all the dust goes from the video. This way you don’t have it flying all over your shop and you do not breathe it in as at first instance it goes directly at you when you feed the piece into the tool. Just a suggestion. Great work, though.
Good job mister beautifully done
Could be adapted to make a surface grinder with stone wheels and some adjustments 👍
i would like to get one of those hand held rust remover lasers
Very nice. And aside from the brand giving it away... I know a fatcap when I hear one ;)
What will happen if the drum wire rotor turns backwards? It would be more efficient right?
You could try it, it 's just changing two wires on the connection.
Satisfying treat.....
This one of my favorite channels, and not just because of the great designs/builds [like this one]. It's also because of all the "whining Karen's" that regularly comment, and validate the famous quote: _"Criticism is the strongest form of flattery"_ [a well known fact]. It's really odd though-you'd think with the amount of "whining Karen's"
*at least one Karen* would provide a link so all of us could see him designing, building, and demonstrating his version. I wonder why no links are provided? 🤔 hmm
Great content as always-keep'em coming. God bless.
Respirator not optional.
I would have made the motor shaft with a LH thread for the brush containment nut. Very cool!
profil sürme rulosunu keşke tüm alt rulolara zincirli sistemle yaysaydınız daha güzel olurdu bence. güzel çalışma.
16:58 Надпись на тисках "СДЕЛАНО В СССР" ! 👍
Интересно, как они в Австралию попали?
@@MadebyBelarus они на кипр
да, я также видел, хороший качество!!👌
А я думал они Португальцы или Испанцы
Awesome machine
You should build a dustless sand blasting setup.
nice work , but a dust collection sys would be adviseble righ??😁😍
Hi, and thank`s for Your machine ideas.
Just a tip, from an Engineer/Innovator: Make the main (bruch) motor reversible, and as the "drive motor" goes both ways, it`s just easier to reverse the brush, and clean up the ends, later?
Or, if the "feeder" is powerful enough, just revers, the feeder.
How`s that?
Just a thought.
from a Finn in Diaspora
It really needs an in-feed roller. By the time you reach the out-feed half of the material is partially cleaned...
All that attention to detail and no dust covers or vacuum hose attachment...
Magic!
*@Make it Extreme* * 20:09 Sure, some iron is healthy in a diet.... but you should DEFINITELY add a vacuum to collect that iron "smoke"... ;)
* 20:59 I think you should move/add another feeder mechanism to the "input" side too, so the beam is feed into the brush at an consistent angle, so you don't get that un-even spot in the beginning, and it can be feed with even speed so 21:56 the brush patterns 22:04 is even.
* 21:35 Maybe also add some bearings & some support structure in the "non-engine" side of the brush too, so it doesn't wobble as it does sometimes...
... 23:20 WOW it even wobbles with wood & you're barely scraping the surface, I thought it was only with "too hard" things or "too much pressure" put on the brush, yeah it definitely needs some stabilization there.
* 24:03 Well.... that is ONE way to solve the "saw-dust problem"... now it's an "ash-dust problem" ;P
But this is still a great first version! 👍
You guys are extreme!
Alright i see a version 2 of this. With like a spring tension almlst like a wood shipper how the feed wheels auto adjust to the size of the tree. So something similar for the feed rod on your rust remover. I just dont know if there is a spring small and strong enough to make it happen.
I woulda been done and 2 six packs in by the time you finished this 😂
Всегда лайк, но все же, с вашими навыками и оборудованием, очень странно, когда опорные ролики неразборны, штурвал наклоняется вместе с платформой, нет пылеудаления, проходной резец ниже центра (на быстросменной резцедержке)..
I find that keeping your pipe oiled prevents rust in the first place. A good virgin oil is best too, rather than the recycled variety.
Good job
Great! Now make a dust collector for it.
Does it make sence to build switching so that motors can turn rotation direction - you get to the end and flip a switch and send it back
I don't have the skills to make that so I drop it into a tank of Evaporust.. Very nice work as always...
I am not rich enough to have a tank of Evaporust so i use citric acid(E330 food preservative).
Seems like the feed roller should be placed on the other side of the motor
Why is that feed roller pulling instead of pushing?
Me parece muy buena herramienta 👏👏👏👏. Pero un buen extractor evita el oxido en el aire flotando 😜
It's very important to add a vaccum dust collector because this flying metal grains (rust) very dangerous to lungs
