Hello and welcome to book tube Em. I’m still pretty new to all this malarkey and finding my way around. Look forward to hearing what you have to say. Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories.
Welcome to the BookTube community! Awwww, "Charlotte's Web" is still one of my favorite books. Best of luck with your channel - I look forward to watching more of your videos. Happy Reading! 😎📚👍
@@BookLoverAmanda I meant to film the night before but with packing and everything there wasn’t time so I figured rest stops would be a good time to film! 😆
It was nice to get to know you better through this tag. I also like to get pleasure from my reading with lighthearted, inspirational, comfort reads. If books get too dark or too emotional, I will DNF. I want to feel good and uplifted when I read. I definitely want to try The Happy Hollisters once they are re-released. So excited to see someone actually using a book sleeve instead of just keeping them in a box. Happy reading!! 📚💚
Hi, Em! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us. From an oldie content creator to a newbie, welcome aboard. We're so glad to have you here!
Welcome to BookTube!! I grew up in Southern California! I love classic books as well. I am trying to get in the habit of doing a monthly classic book review. So far I only have one up, but my next one should be up soon!
Loved hearing your answers! I know I've mentioned it before, but I really want to read some more Agatha Christie. I've enjoyed the ones that I've read. And I do love to chat in comments, it's always nice to have some back and forth.
@@CourtneyReads I am currently reading Ordeal By Innocence. It’s not one I reread often but it is a good one. I am reading it for the Read Christie 2024 challenge and might be counting it for the Back To Hogwarts Readathon prompt 1, found family. It has interesting family dynamics and the “investigator” gets involved accidentally.
Hi! I was drawn to your channel name because...my books truly are everywhere! Also, you are one of the only booktube channels that I have seen to mention the 52 Book Club. I would love to do a video with you comparing our book picks for 52 Book Club. I have never done a video with anyone so it would be a learning curve.
The Happy Hollisters! I have not thought of them for ages. I think I only read a couple of those long ago. I am reading A Murder Is Announced right now. I think you said in another video it was your favorite. Have you ever read Georgette. Heyer? She’s said to have started the regency romance genre. Nice travel vlog! Enjoy your visit!
@@faithbooks7906 I do love A Murder Is Announced! I think I have read one or two from Hayer but it was a long time ago. One of my coworkers recently was reading her books and loved them!
Happy 3-month Booktube anniversary! I wish you all the best of your journey!! ✨📚❤ As one of your new subscribers, I have a special question for you. Which popular genres do you really enjoy reading the most?
@@BookLoverAmanda I think she is underrated for everything she packs in to her novels. They are mostly on the shorter side (less than 300 pages or so) but she has romance, comedy, mystery, character study, you name it. When you are ready for more, I’m thinking you would enjoy the Miss Marple short stories. The original collection is called either The Tuesday Club Murders or The Thirteen Problems depending on the edition.
