One thing the enemies could do here, especially Franco, to avoid losing after snowballing in the early game is identifying which one will carry their enemy team (in this case Beto's team) and shutting them down (in this case Beto's Cyclops). If only they focused on shutting down Beto, he'll have a quite a hard time recovering and thus increasing their chance to win. Instead, they continue focusing Beto's teammates instead and allows him to recover, thus making Beto's team comeback
This is what i usually do as a Roam (not always, mind you), which is identifying which one from your team/enemy team is competent, and then focusing on playing around them (keeping them safe or shutting them down in case for the enemy). More often than not, it'll help make the games A LOT easier instead of just roaming randomly. Just a general tip that applicable for every role (especially Roamer)
Lmao so true. And it frustrates me immensely that whenever I play jungle, 3 or 4 of the enemy team literally do nothing but hunt me as a pack, and my teammates just stay in their lanes like bots
That's a very good point you mentioned, alot of people focus the wrong target.
I have teamed up with similar kind of people in solo queue many times where the enemy have a Fed Layla and Tank protector and me screaming my guts out "Please Kill Layla"

@@paracame8162 well... yes kinda but its not the type of hero to be banned often. In Fact Valir is one of the best mages in the game and the best hero to anti heal and to slow, there is no hero with longer lasting debuffs, but still, somehow squishy and people dont care to ban him whatsoever, since you can just pick other type of heroes like long range mages and adc (remember he doesnt have dash)
Welp, even if you didn't notice the shade in the thumbnail you will still know it in his intro at the beginning of the video. And based on the replies I guess people here just skip the intro or just forgot about it
Non-meta vs meta seems to always be a hot topic no matter where you go, but honestly, I feel like its simply a matter of effort -> results. You can get results no matter what you use, but how much effort you have to put in will be proportional to how 'meta' a character is.
This isn't speaking about technical skill, but instead the skill you need to maneuver the hero around whatever roadblocks make the hero 'non-meta', and how difficult that can be.
Take for example: Zilong is a non-meta hero, yet Fanny is meta.
Zilong is extremely simple, and Fanny is extremely difficult, but that doesn't mean Zilong is meta. He is a late game hero who is extremely countered by stuns, she is an insane early game invade and gank hero who can kill you from anywhere if the player is good enough.
Non-meta characters can be good in the hands of someone who knows how to use them. In fact, if you're facing someone that's good and using a non-meta hero, you better start fearing for your life because if you *think* you know their weakness, then they sure as hell *know*.
This is me speaking from the perspective of a dedicated Hanzo main (whose nuts everyone wants). I've seen many of Hanzo's supposed 'counters' go for my body, only to end up either wasting skills, or dying outright because they don't really know the proper way to kill Hanzo.
It's really one big match-up check. Non-meta 'simple' heroes are the hardest to use.

This is really reflected by how Martis and Leomord seems to dominate games this past months. Don't get me wrong, the buffs also helps big time, but the main reason is peoples just don't know how to properly counter them because they are non-meta for a really long time (even the first ver. post-revamp Leomord isn't as popular as the current buffed ones).
This actually happen many times before with several heroes too, where these so-called "non-meta" suddenly becomes popular everywhere (Terizla, Masha, Aamon, Roger, Barats, Balmond, and even the current Lesley).
I'll bet with the upcoming patch, we might see this phenomenon happening again. So my advice is NEVER underestimate any heroes, especially the forgotten ones, because you might be unlucky enough to see them used by their user. Some off-meta heroes i've tried that are decent now and might've become meta with upcoming patch would be :
1. Lapu-lapu (such a sleeper pick rn, might rise up when other EXP get nerfed),
2. Beatrix (Peoples are like forgetting that her dmg still as brutal as ever),
3. Helcurt (criminally underused, 2nd skill basically deletes squishies and removes half of tank's HP with DHS only),
4. Karina (still flexible as ever with her build, and with her 1st skill's built-in basic atk immune, could counter the upcoming atk spd based heroes. Players are really forgetful),
5. Balmond (Don't really see him that much anymore, even though only his ult dmg on turtle/lord got nerfed. Still one of the easiest jungler for players)
Edit : Regarding Hanzo, as a roam player, there's nothing i despise more than a skilled Hanzo players, since his user basically makes him really slippery by always ulting from safe places, leaving me in dilemma whether to protect my team or hunt his real body. And even if i found the real body, Hanzo can always end ult pre-emptively, or even worse, my team got wiped out leaving me alone vs Hanzo's entire team. So my respect for you for being a Hanzo player. Personally, the only thing hindering him from becoming viable is his team. So many poor Hanzo got trolled by their team simply because of him picked. Hope you're avoided from that situation.

Also, I think part of what keeps Hanzo from being a solid pick is how outdated he is. Not only are there massive amounts of bugs with his skill, the blue buff doesn't even work for him, and you can get hard countered by something like Natalia. Everything else (Ling, Fanny, Saber) can be dealt with if youre good enough, but Natalia is Hanzo's bane.

Idk if it's considered non-meta there but valir has been really popular in ours, godly valir players are a menace - the slow, the stun, the knock-back, free purify, the burn damage. He's really good in teamfights
True I was stuck in Grandmaster this season and I had to use valir to push through epic to get in legends I tried mostly other of my heroes I normally used but they wasn't helping I had to use my valir to carry me through to legends he's always going to be one of my main hero but nothing is going to replace my one eye handsome boy cyclops he's dangerous when jungler🥰🥰
Valir is the overrated mage of this season
He is just awful overall the only good thing is his stun knockback

For me, cyclops is like a mm mage since his dmg,hp and lifesteals in late game are nuts. There's things that i kept in mind when fighting againts certain heroes,"Don't play late game against wan", cyclops and ceci."

Cyclops is my main too and he's very scary in late game and very hard to kill. You basically paced the way but he's one of my only heros I have a over 60% winrate.

Valir is actually pretty underrated. He can roam and counter most tanks or be an aggressive mid laner.

The thing about Valir is that even tho he can be an aggressive early hero, his first skill is both his strength and weakness. Wish devs would adjust it even more rather than just last hitting minions for it to be reset
