I live in Bhutan and Buddhist by birth yet I don't believe in Idol worshiping , predestined karma and so on & on that I contradicts so many peoples views on Buddhism including my family members. But recently I came across Rimpoches teachings on youtube which clarifies many of my doubts which I have learned to keep it to myself for so long.
This is so beautiful to hear 🙏 this is exactly why an authentic Guru is actually so important. Not because we SHOULD worship them. But because they have wisdom and compassion that is WORTHY of Veneration. I was raised Muslim and then because Agnostic, and eventually new age spiritual. Once I met my root Guru it changed everything my. My questions became answered and the truth in Dharma really became clear (although I still have a long way to go. Teachings removed my doubts, and Practice is changing my life for the best. May all beings be benefitted as you continue to progress on your path my friend. Dharma is so precious but not everyone has the ears to hear it. Slow and steady progress seems to be the way, as we all have our own individual karma that is necessary to work with individually. It truly brings me joy to hear that Rinpoche’s teachings reach you. You must have very fortunate Karma in this life.
@@vajrainsightsWow I can imagine how difficult it must have been for your family especially to accept that you left Islam and became a Buddhist ultimately. I am sure this is the rarest of the rarest kind of case. Not that i am against the religion I feel that you are really really blessed to have that kind of karmic connection to embrace Buddhas teachings. Prayers and best wishes to you! 🙏🙏🙏
Glad to know this and you are not alone i believe. Even I have opened my eyes to so many important wisdom behind whatwver we do in our culture. Everything is symbolism but i am sure almost 80% of us Bhutanese or even Buddhists do not know this because we are too much focused on culture and meanwhile lose track of the essence of such symbolic traditions such as prayer flags, mask dances, etc. In this sense, I believe DJKR is by far one of the greatest masters to ever teach in such lucid manner, chewable and relatable to our modern ways of thinking!
