There's android phones and then there's Pixels. It's the same for the foldables, the others might be good, but at the end of the day they're just not Pixels.
Meh... I used to agree with this sentiment, but these days it's no longer true (in my humble opinion). I've used Nexus phones for the ASOP feel, then Pixel phones were less AOSP'ish and more Flagshippy. These days there is not much differentiating a Google phone from an iPhone or Samsung. Google might have it's secret sauce, but so does everyone else. These days even the latest Pixel doesn't even have the latest Android, and so for me I was finally done and went with the Samsung flagship, and I'm way more happy. The only thing stupid about Samsung is the power button below the volume rocker.
I think once one UI 7 comes out it will level the playing ground between that smooth pixel material you lay out and all the others. It's definitely going to rival that kind of experience
Ive own most of the foldables available in the market. The other foldables are better in every way... BUT Pixel is just different. The camera app and features are just on another level of experience. I just wished there had 2 physical sims to avoid buying 2 google phones. 👏 👏
Ive had all the samsung folds and just ditched them for the pixel 9 pro fold because at least google is changing designs and giving people a real useable front screen im done with samsung they do the same as apple just minor unnoticable changes each year just a new chip and a camera bump with the same exact design every time just like iphone and to br honest i always hated oneui but thats just me happy with the pixel much happier than i ever was with any other phone ive owned to date does what it needs to do for me i love the design and the experience has been wonderful if anyones thinking about it you wont be disappointed getting the pixel
I'm with you with the vivo fold but I'll tell you software wise it's still has very minor quirks. For instance I use Chat G PT and I can't get the widget to display on my home screen. The IR technology on that phone is buggy and weak compared to the IR on the OnePlus open. The camera is pretty great, but I don't find it to be always consistent and it does not have cover screen preview so your subject can see themselves if you're taking a photo. I think the Galaxy fold 6 SE is likely the full package as it has every feature from water cover screen, better camera, and superior OS. Hopefully the Galaxy fold 7 will come with s pen support. Then I think it will be virtually unstoppable
I agree with you to a certain extent. For instance I've had to do minor workarounds to get my Galaxy watch ultra to function properly... for the most part. I realized before I invested in the Chinese rom I'd have quirks to deal with, but the innovation was worth it to me. But that flash charging though! 😂 And the fact that the fast wireless charging of the Vivo charges faster than Samsung's & Google's fastest wired charging phones (s24 ultra & Pixel 9 pro slab phones) as well as the "new" fold6/se and Pixel 9 pro fold is not just laughable, but it's embarrassing. Even the Vivo X fold 3's camera (despite it's quirks) is superior to the other folds. My year old OnePlus Open is better in many areas. The OnePlus Open at least has 67w charging (though no wireless) Both Google and Samsung should be ashamed of themselves! Competition is good, but as an American I can tell you that the Chinese are killing it! I'll take my somewhat flawed origin os on my x fold 3 pro over the these other offerings for... for now. Only the Honor Magic V3 comes close for me. It's close, but I'll choose the larger & brighter screens, faster charging, bigger battery and superior camera over thinness all day long -7 days a week!
@Techconversations1231 oh really? Lol. Before u kept stressing we should want to do? People don't want to open a third app bro no matter how many times you say it. I'm using a fold 3 never ever want to open 3 apps at the same time

Bruh wtf are u talking about the multitasking of the folds is another league
@@LeoRuttnig-gs6uz Realistically not many ppl are 'multitasking' more than two apps at a time. Like I always say, Samsung does too much.
@@er1c_s1lv3r7 bruuuh samsung is 1000x better
So true!!

I’ll get the 10 pro fold if it comes with a pen!
The Pixels/Google OS it’s for sure in the top 3 of the best!
Vivo X Fold Pro for the win! I'd return that ugly thing too! Weak charging, limited features and many other issues.

Your arguments are not enough to change the minds of people who are interested or have been using a Pixel phone. Extremely minor things
Not interested in changing minds only expressing my own :)

Just buy a zfold if you want customisation and an ugly interface to boot no problem.
