You work so confidently with fibre glass, awesome.

The workbench you see me doing the work on is actually a boat that I'm building. Learned fiberglassing through TH-cam videos, had never done it before. Check out Jaime Mantzel on YT!

sir, try to use metal mesh, in between fiberglass layer for added rigidity

That is not available on my island and I am avoiding the use of metal or wood in this build due to our tropical conditions. If I need more rigidity I will add more fiberglass. There are still 6 layers of paint to go so we will see.

Those pannels are so flimsy that it might be a good idea to fiberglass some ribbing on the inside of the pannels or a corrugated ribbing on the side facing inward.

I have the PVC pipe ribbing so far for the 4 X 8 panels. I can always add more fiberglass to reinforce it. I have done foam core boat construction (that is my "work bench"). A 4 X 8 sheet of divinycell foam is about $225 here on Kauai so that is not going to happen. Once I begin assembling it I will have a much better idea of where and how to reinforce. The panels are plenty strong, just a bit flexible. There will ge a total of 6 layers of house paint that will also stiffen up the panels... It will be interesting to see... In watching the YT videos of other bike camper builds, most have thin and somewhat flexible walls. I want to make this strong without making it a tank.

Do you know what kind of resin and hardener is used for fiberglassing over a foam core to make surfboards?

Usually epoxy and a closed cell solvent resistant foam. In the boating industry there is Divinycell and some others. I am using marine laminating resin.
