In the new testament, our LORD JESUS Christ says repent or perish in Luke 13:1-5.
In the early church, Ananias and his wife Sapphira who were Christians died at the feet of Apostle Peter for lying (Acts 5:1-9).
In Acts 12:20-23, Herod who was not a Christian was struck by an Angel of GOD and he died because he did not give glory to GOD.
In Revelation chapter 2 and 3, our LORD JESUS Christ is asking His Church to repent. JESUS says He will kill the children of that woman called Jezebel in the Church of Thyatira (Revelation 2:22-23).

As a true Christian, you should not agree with him. He also doesn't know what he's talking about, he only sees the calamities and thinks God is punishing the country. God does not force the country to worship him. He has given each one of us the option to be righteous or to be sinful and wait for the fire. At first he was doing it with the Israelites because it was his chosen nation. Christ came to redeem us from sins and whoever received him, is acceptable before the Lord God. Now salvation is to an individual person and not the whole Kenya. Today God does not punish us the way people think. God is never pleased by the death of a sinner.

@josephkirimi5453 I agree with him. Why does it bother you. I don't agree with you. Read your bible. There is a place for individual and corporate judgement... if you're spiritually awake, there's no need to argue otherwise somethings can only be spiritually discerned

@@gracemungara3766 If you really have the spirit of discernment, you can realize that during the before Christ, God used to punish the wrong doers amongst the righteous, why? it's the sinful heart that dies and not the righteous. Among the people that perished in Kenya are righteous, why? Who do you know has died amongst the government officials who are ever corrupt? Why are only poor who are affected. Can God really show his anger through the poor only? These are some of the things God said would be experienced before the coming of the Lord Jesus.

There's nothing like calling the country to repent. Repentance is to an individual person. Otherwise, the calamities we are experiencing are not as as a result of any sin against God. There are God's people who are blessed. Kenya is a country full of God's people, we have the true church in Kenya. My friend, first know the true church and you will know all about God.

@@Judy254 In Hosea, God was speaking to his holy nation, the Jews and those who accepted to join the Jews, the same case with Isaiah. By then, God was getting angry with people when they could not do the right things. Today, he sent his son to die for the world so that whoever accepted and received him is acceptable before God. Therefore, God prepared the everlasting fire and set it for those who will not receive his son and live a holy life. He no longer punishes people on earth for they have their punishment set for them.
