I am not convinced that those testimonies were false. I think our spirits and souls go to heaven or hell. Our bodies remain and will be joined with us when Christ comes back. I have to disagree with the guest on his teachings on death and speaking in tongues. I only agree that speaking in tongues should be done in private. I looked up I Corinthians 14:2 and Mathew 16:17

Paul himself said in 1Corinthians 14:18 “I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all.” After having corrected them about speaking it in public for un-interpreted tongue. He didn’t say there’s no gift of tongue and nor should it be spoken in private.
I followed everything with agreement until it reached the speaking of toungues. The gift of tongues is not for the intellect (mind) to understand but your spirit man (inner man) understands and is strengthened by it. Toungues is also powerful spiritual warefare. Very true brother. It's tricky when one is attacked especially when the church has no knowledge of spiritual warfare but this knowledge is new even in most other churches. Really hope SDA will take this seriously. I used to experience sleep paralysis and no one knew what that was, very hard to find help when there is no knowledge.

I am grateful to God for what he shares... But I disagree with him when it comes to tongues cz Paul himself said he speaks more in tongues.. Yes we may nt need to speak in tongues if there's no interpreter in church but this language is powerful cz sometimes as a believer u hv things which words fail to express to God the Father and yet the holy spirit enables with with the gift of tongues to edify yourself to The father.... sometimes we may nt knw what to pray for and sometimes we are selfish wen we using our language to pray, eg I sometimes find that when I speak in tongues the holy spirit wll put a picture in my mind of some1 I wldnt even think of praying for but in tongues then I find that am praying for that person, or sometimes I pray my own matters perfectly to God or hidden situations to God, which the holy spirit reveals to me wen I pray in tongues .... So tongues are a secret language that enables us to edify ourselves to the Father and we also download spiritual mysteries frm our father And Paul was talking abt such language of angels in heaven... That's why the demons are confused wen we speak of such secret language cz they can't hear wat we are saying cz it's between us and God....remember nt everything was revealed to the angels.... Salvation is a powerful mystery to the as well, if they do nt knw the time or Hour that Christ wll come to earth they certainly wnt knw the mystery of salvation and also gifts of the holy spirit. I agree! I enjoyed the testimony but I do believe in tongues. I’ve witness demons cast out of people that spoke in demonic tongues. So if the demons speak in tongues I have to believe that we can have the gift tongues.

The only people I see with such understanding are the 7th Day Adventist. This is a blessed discussion and I love the brotherly love and respect it shows.
Can you explain more about the 7th day adventists? Do they believe that other Christian denominations are not going to be saved? I've heard something about them not believing in eternal suffering in hell for unbelievers. I am interested as I think holistic health is important and a lot of the mainstream denominations don't prioritise that. But how can Ellen Whites books be seen as on a similar level to the bible, this is hard to accept. Surely anyone who has written a book inspired by God would be on the same level, why should we regard hers as better? Would love any responses from 7th day adventists!
@ hey there. I don’t do well with the long typing. However, I will answer briefly. Adventists teach that the inspired writing of Ellen is a lesser light that is designed to lead people back to studying their bibles. They also believe that people from other denominations will be saved. Adventists believe that God is a fair judge and that he will judge us based on how we lived up the light he sent us. Also, they do not believe in an eternal burning hell but rather in eternal death. If you desire we could do studies beyond here as it’s hard to type everything 😊

Great testimony and I appreciate the time you gentlemen took to share with the world but I pray that the Holy Spirit Himself opens your eyes concerning speaking and praying in tongues. It is a spiritual gift captured in 1 Corinthians 12 (like the visitor mentioned) but that is not the only place praying in the Spirit is found or mentioned. Please accept my humble understanding of speaking and praying in tongues. Acts 2, cloves of fire came on the people in the upper room and they spoke in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them UTTERANCES. So to speak in tongues, a baptism of fire is required and that is done by Jesus, our Savior. Matthew 3:11 I baptize you with water for repentance, but after me will come One more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. I used the Berean standard version because y’all mentioned the Bereans (thank you) and I also like their approach after hearing Paul speak/teach. Notice that it says that Jesus would baptize in the Holy Spirit and FIRE. To my understanding, that fire baptism is primarily for ministry (See Ephesians 6:18) one’s calling and also to edify oneself (Jude 1:20). So, to my understanding, there is the In dwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire that John foretold and Jesus warned His disciples NOT to leave Jerusalem until they had received the Gift and were equipped in power In 1 Corinthians 14:18-19 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: 19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. So Paul spoke in tongues more than all the others apparently but he taught the church of Corinth not to teach in tongues because that would require interpretation and if no interpretation then it would garner confusion in the congregation. Speaking in tongues is Biblical, because it was the first sign to Peter (who despised gentiles like y’all even mentioned😅) that God had no favorites when he spoke in Cornelius’s house and the gentile’s house and Cornelius received the gift of the Holy Spirit as he was speaking casually about Jesus. Now, in my experience. I didn’t think it was for everyone but thought it was the leaders and sometimes thought maybe some were speaking gibberish and making it up but one day, as I was listening and reviewing the role of the Holy Spirit in the conception of Jesus, the empowerment of Jesus (Holy Spirit led him to the wilderness to be tested), I was marveling at Holy Spirit’s role in the life of Jesus and started to pace around my kitchen saying thank you Holy Spirit, thank you Holy Spirit, you are a need not a want and suddenly I was baptized in the fire of the Holy Spirit in my kitchen. I broke out in tongues, fell on my knees, shocked, crying with relief and awe, not understanding what I was saying I tried to stop but I actually could not. I was thinking about my husband coming downstairs and finding his wife speaking something he didn’t understand, on her knees, with tears flowing out of her, snot and all. I did a quick prayer in my mind saying, Lord, may he not find me like this. Even though he is a believer, I was embarrassed!!! Imagine trying to explain something you didn’t quite understand yourself. It felt like I was getting an inner cleansing from all that doubt and unbelief on spiritual gifts. It went on for at least 30-40min of praying in tongues and wondering how I would be able to stop. My mind didn’t understand but it isn’t logical as seen here 1 Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive [because it does not understand what my spirit is praying]. But I did have a vision of a faucet opening and wave after wave of water flowing out, a river was flowing out of me…it was amazing, an actual event. I appreciate you guys but wanted to share my testimony on how I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire but it came as a result of having the revelation of the importance of the Holy Spirit and His role. I highly recommend seeking God on that topic because for me personally, I rarely do intercession without speaking in tongues. I relinquish control so the Holy Spirit can pray God’s will in that person’s life through me as seen here: Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. @@sisey99 if you reread my statement, I did not deny that nor did they mention demonic tongues, which exist by the way but listening to the conversation concerning speaking in tongues, it was experiences and stories that had been told but that point was not rooted in scriptures to back up the mentioned stories or their stance of not believing it or deeming that spiritual gift as a necessary gift to the body of Christ. Experiences are great, stories are lovely but we filter all of that through the lenses of scripture. The gift of tongues is very real to some of us, so I thought I would share my testimony because not all tongues are fake or forced. It is an actual spiritual gift acknowledged by God himself.

Shalom brethren, Thank you for sharing. I just want to suggest that our brother Gabriel should share his testimony according to what he has seen and been part of. That is powerful enough. We should not pressure him into becoming a bible scholar especially because English is not his first language. This is evident when he mentions Peter's warning to Paul's letters. I think our brother said 1Peter 3:15. But it is actually 2 Peter 3:15-16 where peter said that Paul's letters are "hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures". This is alot different from his paraphrasing and interpretation. I thank God for delivering our brother and through his testimony, many will be delivered. Amen

You two are great together. Your documentaries are among the greatest I have listened to. So brilliant through and through. Thank you so much for explaining the purpose of speaking in tongues. I was getting confused to be honest about what it stands for. In one Church the pastor had to tell the congregation to speak in tongues and at once almost every one started speaking in tongues. I know the Holy Spirit will be speaking in those who were baptised in Him, but it wouldn't be summoned to speak through everyone like singing a hymn. I am so thankful that you have clearly explained this in depth ❤. I am looking forward to read Gabriel's book. There is a lot of wisdom in him. Thanks Tim for your documentaries. I’d like to look into this speaking in tongues thing but I would however give weight to the opinion of someone with his background and level of spiritual understanding.

It’s by the Holy Ghost that I started hearing the voice of God the first time.
Remember he is speaking another language he explains alot different to exact how we say things ..some of you get to personal always looking and listening for some flaw... I was brought here by God. There's no doubt in my mind of that. I've watched many of your videos with Gabriel. I, too, love to learn the enemy's strategies and plans. For the soul purpose to be aware. This world is filled with so many lies, traps, and deception it's crazy. Believing in God, prayer, fasting, etc. are all important. The most important thing should I say. You also need to know thy enemy. See, many Christians dont know that you can be demonically oppressed. It's different from possession. Oppression is where you can have the Holy Spirit, yet these demons/ fallen angels can have rights over certain parts of your personality, life, thoughts, etc. It's because we are not knowledgeable on the tactics and traps of the enemy. We don't really know the rules and guidelines of the spiritual realm. It's a whole other ball game. Since these fallen angels have been around since the beginning, they have had a lot of time to do their thing. With the help of wicked ppl that they placed in positions of power and leadership. They've been able to set up so many lies and deception. That has been passed from generation to generation. Thank God for ppl like Gabriel and you. It's the only chance we have and obtaining knowledge of these things. What's the most crazy and amazing thing for me. God has given me some of this knowledge. To where some of these things I just knew and have known. To hear it confirmed is indescribable. I still aren't sure where and what God has planned for me. Whatever it is. He's definitely preparing me. Idk about anyone else. I'm ready to go to war for my Creator and all my brothers and sisters in Christ. For death does not scare me. Not when ik it's not the end. tongue is a language, the holy spirit will only grant tongues if its necessary and beneficial. God dont need you to speak in tongues when he is the creator of all languages. with that said. if you speak english but happen to live in china . and have no knowledge of chinese, you being present and wants to show the power of God to unbelievers, you would ask the spirit for the gift of tongues in mandarin( official language of china) . so when you begin to prophesy the chinese people will understand what your saying. Corinthians 12, 13, 14 clearly explains it. paul was a hebrew who spoke greek a d many other languages. thats different tongues. not the gibberish people are doing today.

Hence speaking in a language only God can hear is very essential. Firstly , you have to know the reason why God gave these gifts to the church. Every gift is given to profit withal, to benefit everyone. If you have a gift, the gift is not for you. It's for the people around. You also have to know that there are two different types of tongues, evangelical tongues and the tongues you are talking about. On the day of the pentecostal , what you see there are evangelical tongues which do not require any interpretation. If you go read acts 2 , you will find out that the disciples spoke the local languages of the people, the natives, it means if there was a Chinese among the people who were around, one of the disciples spoke Chinese directly, if there was a Japanese, then that person held Japanese language from the disciples. So remember every gift is given to profit withal, if you read the book of Corinthians, paul said it is better to prophesy than to speak in tongues and the reason he gave was when you prophesy you edify the church, but when you speak in tongues, you don't, you just help yourself but then the verse continues to say tongues will be equal to prophecy if there is interpretation. Paul emphasized that there must be interpretation deliberately because he knew that these gifts are supposed to benefit everyone around us. That is why he said it's better for me to speak few words than to speak thousands of tongues.
So if you alone, you can pray in tongues but then, you also have to pray for interpretation. What will it benefit you to pray in tongues and not understand everything you were talking to God. That is why in a church, it is said, if someone is speaking in tongues but there is no interpretation, then he must keep quite, and the bible is precise. God makes important subject easy to understand. Two or at most three can speak in tongues and by course which means one by one, and among the three, two can speak in tongues and one can interprete. All the three should not speak in tongues. So the only place where those type of tongues which requires interpretation can be spoken is only 3 maximum. The bible is clear about that.

After you said about the tongues that were spoken by Jesus's disciples on day of Penticost who were in the upper room, I went to the bòok of Acts 2: 1 onwards, and I read aloud and found that the reason that the people who were on the outside actually did hear the disciples speaking in the languages that those on the outside spoke in their native lands. But originially the disciples's original language was Hebrew, but on that day through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the disciples each spoke in other native languages. This was a sign to the people who were on the outside that the Holy Spirit's outpouring was in fulfillment. This is why those on the outside thought that the disciples were drunk. So those on the outside heard the disciples in the upper room who were Hebrew speaking in all different languages. By which authority were these disciples speaking? It was through the power of the Holy Spirit...not demons. The two of you need to study this again.

While we are in some way enlightened by testimonies... the reason why it is called the kingdom of darkness... no matter at what level a person was in that kingdom, the knowledge presented there is not perfect, i.e., it is darkness after all. And we can not use the workings of the kingdom of darkness to interpret the word of God. There is no congruence between them AT ALL.

Remember Acts 2:6 says "....every man heard them speak in his own language.". So they understood in their own language. Understanding is highly esteemed in Hebrews and Proverbs. Without understanding, nothing is gained. God wants us to understand. We worship Him in Spirit and Truth. When we hear and understand truth, we are filled with the Spirit and are joyful. We cannot go on feelings alone, we must understand truth. It has happened in other cases where someone was sharing the gospel in another country, but God made it so that when they spoke in their own tongue, everyone understood. The Holy Spirit was given to interpret for these people who needed the gospel. The preacher did not have to invent or make up babbling sounds that others didn't understand. God is clear in His instructions in 1 Cor 14:28-29 "If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two,or at the most by three,and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God." We have to come to a point of obeying God regardless of what we think and feel. Satan has a counterfeit to everything God has. If you are not sure what to do or what to believe, just remember Isaiah 8:20, "To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them ."

I have come to realize that every knowledge contrary to the word of God in the Bible is a lie. I wish more humans spend quality time to study the Bible and live according to it's standards. Also, it's very important for us to ask the Holy Spirit to impart us with the gift of speaking in tongues. Praying in tongues is a very powerful gift and the kingdom of darkness hate it so much because when you pray in tongues mysteries are dissolved in the realm of the Spirit. In fact, when you are experiencing negative situations in your life which you do not understand and you have prayed in the language you understand but those negative situations have not changed, it helps to pray against those negative situations in tongues. Praying in tongues is very good. When you have been imparted with the Holy Spirit, sometimes He will give you utterance to pray in tongues i.e. in a language which your spirit man understands but your physical body will not understand. And it's a very powerful kind of prayer because it helps you not to pray amiss.
I completely agree with your comment.i wish the guest could speak to 1 Corinthians 14:2. Is he saying Paul was wrong? Jesus said that the disciples would reveal even more mysteries than he had and I think speaking in tongues is one of them. The only thing where I agree with the guest is not doing it in public or when you are praying with someone else because they cannot understand what you are saying to God so they will feel left out. It’s kind of like speaking a language with your relatives that your spouse does not understand.

I agree with somethings but there are answers which are not true biblically sound; Ephisians: 4: 8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) The word descended here is a verb katabainō meaning to go down, come down, descend. He holds the keys of death and hades: Rev 1:18. Question is where is hades? He descended to hades to collect the keys if you are of the thought that it is down in the underworld. Jesus was not merely in the grave for 3 days. Also Egyptians were worshipping different gods, sun gods etc, citing Cush, the tower of babel and Nineveh is not really basis to say they were true worshippers of God, infact it supports the opposite if you read on Cush, Nineveh and what happened at the tower of babel. I would have said perhaps one of the instances that we know for sure that the gospel came to Africa is through the Ethiopian Eunuch in the book of Acts. Speaking in togues: Speaking in tongues and interpretation is a gift from The Holy Spirit: 1 Corithians 12: 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Therefore correction: The disciples spoke in different tongues in this instance.... and no not in Hebrew, unless we are trying to re-write the events. This is not to say some people speak falsely or in demonic tongues... And there was something said about Jesus speaking according to culture, i don't believe that is true because He is the Word that became flesh and gave the law the ordinances, commandments etc which the Israelites were following as you term it 'culture' was given by the Triune God including Jesus pre-incarnate. So He followed His Word more than culture in this sense. Because He was the one who existed first and the gave the word...hence He came to fulfil the law and correct what needed correcting. Anyways we know in part as the scriptures say......

Those verses don't say "then" (epeita) they say "by which" (en hos). It isn't connecting the quickening by the spirit with the preaching to the "imprisoned spirits" temporally. Rather it is saying the same spirit that preached to the "imprisoned spirits" is the same one that quickened Jesus. It's a small modification with major implications.

Bro I once meditated using binural beats and I went into this beautiful world with colours that don't exist here. Something that was guarding that place came so fast and knocked me down straight to hell. Down there we were all naked and glued to the ground. we were so many as far as the eye can see. It was so dark and so terrible. I yelled out the name of Jesus with all my strength and i was picked up like a little child and taken out of there

Paul himself said in 1Corinthians 14:18
“I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all.” After having corrected them about speaking it in public for un-interpreted tongue. He didn’t say there’s no gift of tongue and nor should it be spoken in private.
I followed everything with agreement until it reached the speaking of toungues. The gift of tongues is not for the intellect (mind) to understand but your spirit man (inner man) understands and is strengthened by it. Toungues is also powerful spiritual warefare. The only thing Paul said is that it should not be spoken in gatherings unless it is interpreted also. Read 1Corinthians 14:2,14, 18 for further reference. Otherwise all good. Thank you brothers

Very true brother. It's tricky when one is attacked especially when the church has no knowledge of spiritual warfare but this knowledge is new even in most other churches. Really hope SDA will take this seriously. I used to experience sleep paralysis and no one knew what that was, very hard to find help when there is no knowledge.

What Gabriel shares and discusses about speaking in tongues or the "gift of tongues" is super controversial in certain Christian circles. And I'm so here for it. As Christ-followers, we do need to question what we think we know and go to the source (God) to get clarity and wisdom on these matters.

sometimes we may nt knw what to pray for and sometimes we are selfish wen we using our language to pray, eg I sometimes find that when I speak in tongues the holy spirit wll put a picture in my mind of some1 I wldnt even think of praying for but in tongues then I find that am praying for that person, or sometimes I pray my own matters perfectly to God or hidden situations to God, which the holy spirit reveals to me wen I pray in tongues ....
So tongues are a secret language that enables us to edify ourselves to the Father and we also download spiritual mysteries frm our father And Paul was talking abt such language of angels in heaven... That's why the demons are confused wen we speak of such secret language cz they can't hear wat we are saying cz it's between us and God....remember nt everything was revealed to the angels.... I agree! I enjoyed the testimony but I do believe in tongues. I’ve witness demons cast out of people that spoke in demonic tongues. So if the demons speak in tongues I have to believe that we can have the gift tongues.

The only people I see with such understanding are the 7th Day Adventist. This is a blessed discussion and I love the brotherly love and respect it shows.
Can you explain more about the 7th day adventists? Do they believe that other Christian denominations are not going to be saved? I've heard something about them not believing in eternal suffering in hell for unbelievers. I am interested as I think holistic health is important and a lot of the mainstream denominations don't prioritise that. But how can Ellen Whites books be seen as on a similar level to the bible, this is hard to accept. Surely anyone who has written a book inspired by God would be on the same level, why should we regard hers as better? Would love any responses from 7th day adventists!
@ hey there. I don’t do well with the long typing. However, I will answer briefly. Adventists teach that the inspired writing of Ellen is a lesser light that is designed to lead people back to studying their bibles. They also believe that people from other denominations will be saved. Adventists believe that God is a fair judge and that he will judge us based on how we lived up the light he sent us. Also, they do not believe in an eternal burning hell but rather in eternal death. If you desire we could do studies beyond here as it’s hard to type everything 😊

Great testimony and I appreciate the time you gentlemen took to share with the world but I pray that the Holy Spirit Himself opens your eyes concerning speaking and praying in tongues. It is a spiritual gift captured in 1 Corinthians 12 (like the visitor mentioned) but that is not the only place praying in the Spirit is found or mentioned.
Please accept my humble understanding of speaking and praying in tongues.
Acts 2, cloves of fire came on the people in the upper room and they spoke in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them UTTERANCES. So to speak in tongues, a baptism of fire is required and that is done by Jesus, our Savior.
Matthew 3:11
I baptize you with water for repentance, but after me will come One more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
I used the Berean standard version because y’all mentioned the Bereans (thank you) and I also like their approach after hearing Paul speak/teach.
Notice that it says that Jesus would baptize in the Holy Spirit and FIRE.
To my understanding, that fire baptism is primarily for ministry
(See Ephesians 6:18) one’s calling and also to edify oneself (Jude 1:20). So, to my understanding, there is the In dwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire that John foretold and Jesus warned His disciples NOT to leave Jerusalem until they had received the Gift and were equipped in power
In 1 Corinthians 14:18-19
I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
So Paul spoke in tongues more than all the others apparently but he taught the church of Corinth not to teach in tongues because that would require interpretation and if no interpretation then it would garner confusion in the congregation.
Speaking in tongues is Biblical, because it was the first sign to Peter (who despised gentiles like y’all even mentioned😅) that God had no favorites when he spoke in Cornelius’s house and the gentile’s house and Cornelius received the gift of the Holy Spirit as he was speaking casually about Jesus.
Now, in my experience. I didn’t think it was for everyone but thought it was the leaders and sometimes thought maybe some were speaking gibberish and making it up but one day, as I was listening and reviewing the role of the Holy Spirit in the conception of Jesus, the empowerment of Jesus (Holy Spirit led him to the wilderness to be tested), I was marveling at Holy Spirit’s role in the life of Jesus and started to pace around my kitchen saying thank you Holy Spirit, thank you Holy Spirit, you are a need not a want and suddenly I was baptized in the fire of the Holy Spirit in my kitchen. I broke out in tongues, fell on my knees, shocked, crying with relief and awe, not understanding what I was saying I tried to stop but I actually could not. I was thinking about my husband coming downstairs and finding his wife speaking something he didn’t understand, on her knees, with tears flowing out of her, snot and all. I did a quick prayer in my mind saying, Lord, may he not find me like this. Even though he is a believer, I was embarrassed!!! Imagine trying to explain something you didn’t quite understand yourself. It felt like I was getting an inner cleansing from all that doubt and unbelief on spiritual gifts. It went on for at least 30-40min of praying in tongues and wondering how I would be able to stop. My mind didn’t understand but it isn’t logical as seen here

For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive [because it does not understand what my spirit is praying].
But I did have a vision of a faucet opening and wave after wave of water flowing out, a river was flowing out of me…it was amazing, an actual event. I appreciate you guys but wanted to share my testimony on how I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire but it came as a result of having the revelation of the importance of the Holy Spirit and His role.
I highly recommend seeking God on that topic because for me personally, I rarely do intercession without speaking in tongues. I relinquish control so the Holy Spirit can pray God’s will in that person’s life through me as seen here:

@@sisey99 if you reread my statement, I did not deny that nor did they mention demonic tongues, which exist by the way but listening to the conversation concerning speaking in tongues, it was experiences and stories that had been told but that point was not rooted in scriptures to back up the mentioned stories or their stance of not believing it or deeming that spiritual gift as a necessary gift to the body of Christ. Experiences are great, stories are lovely but we filter all of that through the lenses of scripture. The gift of tongues is very real to some of us, so I thought I would share my testimony because not all tongues are fake or forced. It is an actual spiritual gift acknowledged by God himself.

Thank you for sharing. I just want to suggest that our brother Gabriel should share his testimony according to what he has seen and been part of. That is powerful enough. We should not pressure him into becoming a bible scholar especially because English is not his first language. This is evident when he mentions Peter's warning to Paul's letters. I think our brother said 1Peter 3:15. But it is actually 2 Peter 3:15-16 where peter said that Paul's letters are "hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures". This is alot different from his paraphrasing and interpretation.
I thank God for delivering our brother and through his testimony, many will be delivered. Amen

Thank you so much for explaining the purpose of speaking in tongues. I was getting confused to be honest about what it stands for. In one Church the pastor had to tell the congregation to speak in tongues and at once almost every one started speaking in tongues. I know the Holy Spirit will be speaking in those who were baptised in Him, but it wouldn't be summoned to speak through everyone like singing a hymn. I am so thankful that you have clearly explained this in depth ❤.

I was brought here by God. There's no doubt in my mind of that. I've watched many of your videos with Gabriel. I, too, love to learn the enemy's strategies and plans. For the soul purpose to be aware. This world is filled with so many lies, traps, and deception it's crazy. Believing in God, prayer, fasting, etc. are all important. The most important thing should I say. You also need to know thy enemy. See, many Christians dont know that you can be demonically oppressed. It's different from possession. Oppression is where you can have the Holy Spirit, yet these demons/ fallen angels can have rights over certain parts of your personality, life, thoughts, etc. It's because we are not knowledgeable on the tactics and traps of the enemy. We don't really know the rules and guidelines of the spiritual realm. It's a whole other ball game. Since these fallen angels have been around since the beginning, they have had a lot of time to do their thing. With the help of wicked ppl that they placed in positions of power and leadership. They've been able to set up so many lies and deception. That has been passed from generation to generation. Thank God for ppl like Gabriel and you. It's the only chance we have and obtaining knowledge of these things. What's the most crazy and amazing thing for me. God has given me some of this knowledge. To where some of these things I just knew and have known. To hear it confirmed is indescribable. I still aren't sure where and what God has planned for me. Whatever it is. He's definitely preparing me. Idk about anyone else. I'm ready to go to war for my Creator and all my brothers and sisters in Christ. For death does not scare me. Not when ik it's not the end. tongue is a language, the holy spirit will only grant tongues if its necessary and beneficial. God dont need you to speak in tongues when he is the creator of all languages. with that said.
if you speak english but happen to live in china . and have no knowledge of chinese, you being present and wants to show the power of God to unbelievers, you would ask the spirit for the gift of tongues in mandarin( official language of china) . so when you begin to prophesy the chinese people will understand what your saying. Corinthians 12, 13, 14 clearly explains it. paul was a hebrew who spoke greek a d many other languages. thats different tongues. not the gibberish people are doing today.
@ChildofGod52 Tongues is a potent tool for spiritual warfare .in the midst of deep spiritual warfare what you pray about can give enemy ideas to wild deceptive that can stir or cause of your prayers. Hence speaking in a language only God can hear is very essential. There times you may be overwhelmed and wouldn't even know the right prayers to pray but with tongues the holy spirit would make intercession your behest .
Firstly , you have to know the reason why God gave these gifts to the church. Every gift is given to profit withal, to benefit everyone. If you have a gift, the gift is not for you. It's for the people around. You also have to know that there are two different types of tongues, evangelical tongues and the tongues you are talking about. On the day of the pentecostal , what you see there are evangelical tongues which do not require any interpretation. If you go read acts 2 , you will find out that the disciples spoke the local languages of the people, the natives, it means if there was a Chinese among the people who were around, one of the disciples spoke Chinese directly, if there was a Japanese, then that person held Japanese language from the disciples. So remember every gift is given to profit withal, if you read the book of Corinthians, paul said it is better to prophesy than to speak in tongues and the reason he gave was when you prophesy you edify the church, but when you speak in tongues, you don't, you just help yourself but then the verse continues to say tongues will be equal to prophecy if there is interpretation. Paul emphasized that there must be interpretation deliberately because he knew that these gifts are supposed to benefit everyone around us. That is why he said it's better for me to speak few words than to speak thousands of tongues.
So if you alone, you can pray in tongues but then, you also have to pray for interpretation. What will it benefit you to pray in tongues and not understand everything you were talking to God. That is why in a church, it is said, if someone is speaking in tongues but there is no interpretation, then he must keep quite, and the bible is precise. God makes important subject easy to understand. Two or at most three can speak in tongues and by course which means one by one, and among the three, two can speak in tongues and one can interprete. All the three should not speak in tongues. So the only place where those type of tongues which requires interpretation can be spoken is only 3 maximum. The bible is clear about that.

After you said about the tongues that were spoken by Jesus's disciples on day of Penticost who were in the upper room, I went to the bòok of Acts 2: 1 onwards, and I read aloud and found that the reason that the people who were on the outside actually did hear the disciples speaking in the languages that those on the outside spoke in their native lands. But originially the disciples's original language was Hebrew, but on that day through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the disciples each spoke in other native languages. This was a sign to the people who were on the outside that the Holy Spirit's outpouring was in fulfillment.
This is why those on the outside thought that the disciples were drunk.
So those on the outside heard the disciples in the upper room who were Hebrew speaking in all different languages.
By which authority were these disciples speaking?
It was through the power of the Holy Spirit...not demons.

While we are in some way enlightened by testimonies... the reason why it is called the kingdom of darkness... no matter at what level a person was in that kingdom, the knowledge presented there is not perfect, i.e., it is darkness after all. And we can not use the workings of the kingdom of darkness to interpret the word of God. There is no congruence between them AT ALL.

Those were REAL languages that were understood by the people who who witnessed the pentecostnot the pentecostal tongues
Remember Acts 2:6 says "....every man heard them speak in his own language.". So they understood in their own language. Understanding is highly esteemed in Hebrews and Proverbs. Without understanding, nothing is gained. God wants us to understand. We worship Him in Spirit and Truth. When we hear and understand truth, we are filled with the Spirit and are joyful. We cannot go on feelings alone, we must understand truth.
It has happened in other cases where someone was sharing the gospel in another country, but God made it so that when they spoke in their own tongue, everyone understood. The Holy Spirit was given to interpret for these people who needed the gospel. The preacher did not have to invent or make up babbling sounds that others didn't understand.
God is clear in His instructions in 1 Cor 14:28-29 "If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two,or at the most by three,and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God."
We have to come to a point of obeying God regardless of what we think and feel. Satan has a counterfeit to everything God has. If you are not sure what to do or what to believe, just remember Isaiah 8:20, "To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them ."

I have come to realize that every knowledge contrary to the word of God in the Bible is a lie. I wish more humans spend quality time to study the Bible and live according to it's standards.
Also, it's very important for us to ask the Holy Spirit to impart us with the gift of speaking in tongues. Praying in tongues is a very powerful gift and the kingdom of darkness hate it so much because when you pray in tongues mysteries are dissolved in the realm of the Spirit. In fact, when you are experiencing negative situations in your life which you do not understand and you have prayed in the language you understand but those negative situations have not changed, it helps to pray against those negative situations in tongues. Praying in tongues is very good. When you have been imparted with the Holy Spirit, sometimes He will give you utterance to pray in tongues i.e. in a language which your spirit man understands but your physical body will not understand. And it's a very powerful kind of prayer because it helps you not to pray amiss.
I completely agree with your comment.i wish the guest could speak to 1 Corinthians 14:2. Is he saying Paul was wrong? Jesus said that the disciples would reveal even more mysteries than he had and I think speaking in tongues is one of them. The only thing where I agree with the guest is not doing it in public or when you are praying with someone else because they cannot understand what you are saying to God so they will feel left out. It’s kind of like speaking a language with your relatives that your spouse does not understand.

Also I have my reservation on the speaking in tongues bcos we speak in tongues also to edify ourselves and unto the Lord, when ministering you speak in language people can understand except you have an interpreter then you can speak in tongues. I agree with somethings but there are answers which are not true biblically sound;
Ephisians: 4: 8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
The word descended here is a verb
katabainō meaning to go down, come down, descend. He holds the keys of death and hades: Rev 1:18. Question is where is hades? He descended to hades to collect the keys if you are of the thought that it is down in the underworld. Jesus was not merely in the grave for 3 days.
Also Egyptians were worshipping different gods, sun gods etc, citing Cush, the tower of babel and Nineveh is not really basis to say they were true worshippers of God, infact it supports the opposite if you read on Cush, Nineveh and what happened at the tower of babel. I would have said perhaps one of the instances that we know for sure that the gospel came to Africa is through the Ethiopian Eunuch in the book of Acts.
Speaking in togues:
Speaking in tongues and interpretation is a gift from The Holy Spirit:
1 Corithians 12:
10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
Also according to 1Corithians 14 but i will quote verse: 2For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.4: He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
Speaking in Different tongues (not unknown tongues as above):
Acts 2: 3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Therefore correction: The disciples spoke in different tongues in this instance.... and no not in Hebrew, unless we are trying to re-write the events.
This is not to say some people speak falsely or in demonic tongues...
And there was something said about Jesus speaking according to culture, i don't believe that is true because He is the Word that became flesh and gave the law the ordinances, commandments etc which the Israelites were following as you term it 'culture' was given by the Triune God including Jesus pre-incarnate. So He followed His Word more than culture in this sense. Because He was the one who existed first and the gave the word...hence He came to fulfil the law and correct what needed correcting.
Anyways we know in part as the scriptures say......

Those verses don't say "then" (epeita) they say "by which" (en hos). It isn't connecting the quickening by the spirit with the preaching to the "imprisoned spirits" temporally. Rather it is saying the same spirit that preached to the "imprisoned spirits" is the same one that quickened Jesus. It's a small modification with major implications.
