Sorry for butting in here but, lots of instructions are online or at your county for canning-the hard part is getting it prepped and seasoned right. Just trial until you get what you like.

How about some storage tips for your Frog canned meat?
5 years to 20 years is a huge variable.
Also, how do you know when NOT to eat it?

Don't eat it if the can is bulged. Dented, rusted

Because I didn't want to waste it. The cans are so big and there are only 2 of us in the house. We couldn't eat it all. Which is why i mentioned that as a consideration.
