Nice! Ive been debating doing this mod or getting the brushless chassis itself. Im running a 50t PN Racing motor and with lipo AAA it screams. Its very comparable to the brushless setup. I saw you were having trouble driving it. I would suggest getting the steel center shaft pinion and coupler. The stock setup spins freely because its a plastic pinion on a bushing. The steel pinion and coupler are installed with set screws so the shaft becomes one solid piece. Doing this will better engage the differentials. You can probably glue the stock pinions as well. I have have taken my buggy apart so many times as well feel free to ask me any questions if need be. When I get my replacement chassis from Japan Ill make a video showing its driving characteristics.
