Very entertaining and informative video Dean, editing and time lapse was great. Would be good to get a side shot of you in respect to the shore but it sounds like the height you were fishing is equivalent to casting and hauling from the roof of a two story house. Nice torch. Bass cave is a hard place to fish on your own trust me I grew up there,I had my biggest ever bass off there double figure and it was a mission pulling it up that cliff very scary,I've surfed this area for over 20 years and we used to jump off that cliff regular on big tides,fairplay Dean lad on your own up there I no how hard it is 👏great edit 👊

Hiya mate, I know it works but it's a bit slow for me as in baiting up I like to be quick with baiting upto 4 rigs in one trip and if something aint broken over 30 years why change it if you get me

I fish a place like that, I have a landing platform no problem.
But its a bit of a gathering spot for walkers being a headland, and birds flying into the line is not uncommon which makes for some uncomfortable situations untangling sea birds in front of an audience of twitchers, even tho they are always fine.

cut up a milk carton and use a couple of oblong sections elastic banded on front to defuse the bright light glare. works for me.
Great video again mate, could a drop net be used there? you used the normal pully in the video with success. But in a previous video outlining why different pully rigs fail you said from high up you would use a running up and over (which iv just made 😉), so what's your reasoning this time for choice of pully pkease mate?
Hi mate, its rough ground I need the hooks off the bottom as quick as possible, a running up and over is ideal when lifting fish there no kink caused which is ideal
@deanbooker3314 thanks mate, that's the thing that confuses me to use which variation of pully or up and over on which ground, if on beach/prom/rock and tide state and size 🤯

Not really keen on You tube shore sea fishing videos as many of them are just to satisfy the ego of the bloke posting them! Like the mans attitude, blokes got no ego and not big headed knows his stuff and catches fish!
