Yep, most in Henry's aren't as colorful as the smaller ones we catch in mountain lakes and streams. It can be confusing because of the white tipped fins. Both are not actually trout, but belong to the char family. An easy way to identify a lake trout is by their distinctly forked tail where a Brook lacks the fork.

Fun video! Henry's is a favorite of mine. I don't want to be "that guy" but the fish you caught at 3:20 is a Brook trout. They grow big in there.

We had the best luck just using nightcrawlers, but I know most people use jigs and mealworms. Good luck! I'd love to hear how you do!
