Sad seeing the North Conway depot boarded up and neglected like this.

All I could wish for is the locations identified.

At about the 21 minute mark is the 1971 Snow Train to N. Conway. I was on that trip. The '72 Snow Train had the Geeps on the head end. I'd forgotten how SHARP that curve behind the IGA in Rochester was. The steps between the Budd Cars would just about ride up over one another! Great stuff here!

At about 18.38, there's a yellow piggy lifter, lifting a trailer off a flat car. Is this a B&M piggy machine?

At 5min mark I see #1567 gp7, that was leased by morristown & erie for 2months in summer 1974 when their loco’s were down I love that old battered paint job=nostalgic..much better than the blue they added after this.

1:10:31 to 1:13:13 shows the move of Canadian National #7470 (then under Dwight Smith’s ownership, number #47) to North Conway, NH, where in 1974, it would return to operating status at the Conway Scenic. 100 years old and still running today.

At the 1:10:51 mark of this video there is footage of steam engine # 47 of the Conway Scenic Railroad. This footage must be # 47 being taken to North Conway for the first time sometime in 1972 or 1973 because # 47 was running under his own power in August 1974 when the Conway Scenic Railroad first opened. If anyone has any info on when and where this move of steam engine # 47 occurred, I'd love to know more about it.

OMG! You got video of the Central Mass Branch! Wow there's very little footage of the branch. I've been working on a documentary of the railroad and have been looking for anything from photos to video. Would it be possible to get a copy of the piece from 40:50 to 42:00 and the piece from 1:05:08 to 1:08:28? I would love to include them in the documentary with your permission of course.
