By no means questioning your pricing on the cards. But what source do you use to price your cards? I haven’t collected since I was a child. For reference we had the yearly Beckett book that they printed. We used that to price things. Didn’t have inserts or parallels. I’m back into the card collecting for the first time in a very long time. I’m enjoy the videos and I bought a series 2 case today.
@@westernnycards is there anyway to identify short print rookies besides the number on the back? When you were flipping through what made you stop and check?

I apologize if I already posted this, but wanted to share. On Father's Day my son and I opened a hobby box and pulled a Nolan Ryan All-Star auto! Much like the one you pulled, except 89' design. The box was awful until that pull and then we pulled a Soderstrom auto in the silver pack at the end!
I’ve opened one hole case worth of these hangers . Idk man series 1 I pulled some awsome true photos and team logo borders , Dominguez and Pete crow autos etc . Didn’t pull a true photo logo border or hfa . Best two cards were Yamamoto gold /2024 and Langford SP. be careful with these .
I opened up 2 hangers and a monster box from target I got a otaini to 999 and and Allan wannis to 999 and a Carlos Correa game worn jersey patch and 2 golds and 3 rainbows foils

Did you get any monster/mega boxes? Just picked one up and did ok. 3 # and the foils. BUT the big hit was a red stars of the mlb yoshinobu 01/75 has a dinged corner 😡🤬
@@westernnycards Also found some hangers. I actually had better luck with the few blaster I had. I pulled a Jim Rice relic/auto out of 25 in the first pack from the first blaster. Waiting on my Fanatics blasters still.
These are NUTS> I just watched Lucky Peter open 8 of these and pull and Independence Day, Mother's Day, Game Used Relic, Green Ice, Purple Shimmer, two Golds and a Home Field Advantage. These are getting as insane as the 22 update hangers were
I just opened up 10 fat packs (my pharmacy carries them, so I ALWAYS volunteer to pick up prescriptions haha) got a Javy Baez (yuck) Golden Mirror and an Andrew Saalfrank Rookie Independence Day. Aka. I should never buy a fat pack again haha
@@westernnycards agreed. Even with it being Javy Baez, it’s still a $50-60 card. The Saalfrank is a $20 card but still, a rookie pitcher is a rookie pitcher. I have an Emerson Hancock on card series 1 auto /199, couldn’t grade it because of the black borders but I’m doing a long term hold on him bc I think he will find himself
