Ryan reynolds texted Chris asking if he wanted to do a cameo, and miraculously he just happened to be In the neighborhood, so he showed up, and the whole thing was done in 10 minutes.

Brilliant reaction, Homies! Maybe Ellie & Mish didn't quite realise it at first, but if you've ever become hooked on a MMORPG then this movie has a special attraction (with so many nods to so many franchises, games & movies). And some outstanding performances, to boot.
I kept having City of Heroes flashbacks. 😀

7. Over spend his credit card causing him to end in debt
8. Leak the security cam footage of his bad behaviour
9. Claim his jewelry was stolen and wasn’t paid for

I'd also recommend "Tron" (1982) and its sequel "Tron: Legacy" (2010), a drama about a man who accidentally gets digitised and transferred into computer where programs are human-like creatures.
Also check "Ready Player One" - another movie about people playing games and searching hidden things

Around the time they making putting this movie together, Disney had acquired 20th Century Fox. As a result, they were able to go crazy and add Captain America’s shield and a lightsaber.

FYI. "Guy" is a real name, it's French pronounced "Gee" normally.
It's also a common Italian name; I went to a High School that was *heavily* Italian, and every Class had at least 3 or 4 guys named 'Guy' in the Class (with each having 350-400 kids in it)! Sometimes, in a crowd, it could get confusing!

I really enjoyed this one. Taika's directed some really fun movies recently. And Ryan is always great in roles like this.
As several others have said, you guys should really watch/react to Killing Eve. Jodie Comer is phenomenal as Villanelle

In some world when a non sentient being becomes sentient and who ever is in charge takes that sentience away has to be murder,even if it's a computer program blue shirt guy gained sentience and it was taken from him.
I wish someone had told you it was about a 'game world' and the 'real world' existing together, side-by-side, with some characters going back and forth between them. But you had *no idea* so you were just completely confused for the first 1/4 of the movie.
But it was lots of fun watching you two, once you realized what was happening! If you know (or even just suspect) from the beginning that 'blue-shirt guy' is just 'going through the motions', as a 'Non-Player Character' ... it's a whole different experience! Watch it again (right away!), and you'll see what I mean!
Once again, a very cool (& enjoyable!) Reaction! Oh, and of course it's a love-story ... all the best & most interesting movies are!
You guys should watch "Killing Eve" also with Jodie Comer who was the girl in "Free Guy", she's amazing in that.

It’s Ninja, Jacksepticeye, DanDTM, LazarBeam and of course Pokimane who’s pretty and sweet even though I hate her progressive politics and activism, I’m kind of a classical liberal that votes Republican now though, I’m always confused as to how leftist believe intersectionality is in any way positive or progressive and their understanding of “rights” and the role government should play in daily life, that’s how I’m a familiar with streamers, because I don’t play video games at all, but I watch a lot of political streamers and debates and watch a fair amount of game walkthroughs and movie and music reactions, I also work in Vegas nightlife for TAO Group so have seen Pokimaine and Ninja at our clubs and events.
If you love Taika Waikiki, do check "What We Do in the Shadows" film, directed by him - a comedy made as if it's documentary about vampires

Hi ladies. I'd like to suggest a movie. "Smile" is the best new movie I've seen in a while. It has a few heart-stopping jump scares and Sosie Bacon's performance is excellent. You'd think she's _REALLY_ been traumatized. Also, if you've ever experienced vertigo, you'll understand when I say a couple of the camera shots will make you feel like you're falling _UP_ .😵💫 _AWESOME_ . I've seen it 3 times already.

This IMHO was the best movie of 2001. It was delayed by a year and thus was robbed by Covid of the attention it deserved.
