Just a suggestion….when I clean my couch or loveseat, I kneel on the furniture and am able to get deeper into the areas under the cushions. What a discovery. 🤷🏻♀️😄
I'm folding laundry as I watch your video and just before, I did the dishes and took out the trash. These are my main chores every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I'm a working parent and my husband stays at home so he normally takes care of everything else.
I have an extremely full house. We have 6 kids and have way overocumulated over the years. My oldest is in the army. I have moved the things he has left into air tight containers into our garage attic. I home school and I have too many books. I value education, and I have so many history books and religious books and science books and classic books. It's so hard to let the books go. Then there are the children's story books, which is the one thing I am emotionally attached to. It's really hard to make all these decisions. I enjoyed our books so much more when we had way fewer. Thanks for sharing. It helps to know Im not alone.
I'm on baby number 6 and I homeschool my kids. It seems so easy to collect so much stuff and not be able to declutter it when you're trying to take care of the main spots in your house and homeschool kids.
I'd like your opinion on what books to get for an 8th grader? My girl it's struggling in math and science and I want to help her but don't know where to start. Sorry it's out of topic but read your comment and just wanted to ask
@@26alexther I have never found a science curriculum I love. Apologia is the most popular, and I have used it, but I don't care for it. I have used some science books from Memoria Press that I have liked. The main problem is everything I have liked is too narrow ( covers animals, but not earth and space, or it covers science from a historical perspective.) I have enjoyed "Exploring the History of Medicine" by J H Tiner the most. Fascinating! Everyone loves it. I have also just had my kids get on Khan Academy and work through Middle school Biology or Middle school science. They are well done but not terribly long. For high school science, I have used Biology 101 and Chemistry 101 by Wes Olson. For math, my favorite is Rod and Staff because it's very old school. After completing the 7th grade book, my kids were able to move into Algebra. I never purchased the 8th grade book. I have a child who was behind and was doing the 7th grade math book as a 9th grader. Then completed Alg 1, Geometry, and Alg 2 for the rest of high school. I like the "Teaching Textbooks" online Alg, Geometry, and Alg 2 curriculum. Currently, I have 2 high school students, and I decided to enroll them in Connections Academy online high school. It's honestly been a great experience.
For the safety of your family, DO NOT show your children and DO NOT tell the world the type of monitor you use!!! I get it, you are young and see no harm in doing this, but there is grave harm in doing this. There are too many weirdos in the world.
Hey if you struggle with mold in the bathroom: Dont have a diffuser to spread more moisture. Get a dehumidifier instead. edit: Oh Im glad to see you have one! But yeah still would remove the diffuser. also having the door open after shower or better: at all times should greatly help with the mold. good luck
I'm watching now and going to clean kitchen cupboards afterwards. You are a very caring and super mum. Thanks for sharing this video. I enjoy these; very motivating ❤
I also struggle with paper clutter the most. I have a box for each kid and an additional under bed storage box for the larger stuff. As the kids grow the art gets less and less. Just try and date the back so you know when it was made. And if you can snap a picture of your child holding the art. This way if you later decide to declutter it, you’ll have a momento of the art that meant the most to him. Once middle school and high school comes you won’t see much come home, but do encourage your child to share their work with you on Google Docs and keep a copy if you want. I didn’t push this enough but found a few hard copies and kept those. They won’t want to keep anything after a certain age. 😊
My bathroom is small like yours except the vanity is up against the wall on the left. I put three small shelves on that wall for q tips and stuff. I also have a cabinet with three shelves over toilet. It helps a lot. All my makeup and stuff is elsewhere. Tfs
Hi Catherine. Believe it or not, my bathroom is smaller than yours, so I feel your struggles. What helped me was taking advantage of vertical space. I bought a tall cabinet that goes to almost the ceiling. I installed it over the toilet. It houses towels, TP, hygiene products............all things bathroom related. Also, I hope you don't mind me saying, you may want to research what happens every time we flush the toilet. It's pretty gross. I've been storing my toothbrushes in cabinets ever since. Congrats on 100k and losing 10 pounds! Keep up the good work.
My to do today is to try to declutter my hallway linen closet which has accumulated things for 7 years like bedding, extra dishes and kitchen items, random decor, and disposable kitchen items like paper towels and paper and plastic plates and cups. Also yesterday I organized papers in my office and today I'm going to try to get what's left all organized and filed. I have a 2 year old so we'll see how it goes! This video is so motivating!!
I’m relaxing this afternoon after doing laundry, tidy and doing some cleaning this morning. I also make chicken and rice in the crockpot for lunch. 😋😋Another great video!😊😊
So glad that Carson felt better over night and that your anxiety was lessened. 🍂 Congratulations on your weight loss journey goals! 👏🏻🎉 So happy for you! 🍂
I m looking forward to January its my after holidays reset, revamp, declutter, rearrange. Oh no, same situation in my household, last weekend people started feeling sick.
Congratulations!!!! I've been with you when you lived in the house. As always you do great cleaning, organizing, decluttering. So glad Carson is better, he's growing up so fast, nice looking fella. Have a nice week Catherine!!
You are such a good organizer. I have learned from watching videos and learned that I am a person who needs visual organization. The things I have seen by you show great ways to see what you have. Thanks for the insparation. Getting ready for guest for over the Christmas holidays. Next i have to find meal preps for the 4 days that family will be here. 🕊☮🕊
You need a very large zip lock Bag to put school work in have an A4 at your door or clothes hooks put them straight in when sorting out school bags, then pick a day like Friday go through the a4 bag any important letters are there anything needed for the next week you have the weekend to do and then drawing into storage to keep or bin x
I'm not sure if you ever tried intermittent fasting or not but after I had my son I still had some leftover weight that would not go away even while I was breastfeeding. When I finally started intermittent fasting on a 16/8 schedule, I lost the remaining weight quickly! May or may not work for everybody, but could be worth looking into if you haven't already tried!
Hi Catherine, congratulations on reaching 100K subscribers, I have a small bathroom too. I removed my diffuser, as that was putting more moisture into the air, I changed for an electric wax melt and that helped a lot.
For your son's school paper I suggest 3 their office tray. That way you can separate the ones that are important and less important and ones that need to be saved (like his art work )
I noticed a mold and mildew issue on my bathroom ceiling after I had my tile replaced and the new design went all the way up the wall. A Lowes worker told me to use a mold and mildew spray (not sure of the brand, but it's bright green), followed by a mildew primer and then ceiling paint. I haven't had an issue since. If it's coming through the grout or caulking, there may be a bigger issue behind the walls.
We have it & use it! We’re really struggling with our bathroom, we’re going to replace the fan because we think it’s not doing anything and is potentially full of mold 😭😭
That’s funny and such a guy thing !! I try to not comment on bodies because I have terrible dysmorphia but you look wonderful !!! I recently did eight weeks of Ozempic and lost 14 pounds and I’ve lost an additional three on my own and just had massive dental surgery so I will lose another three piece of cake 20 lbs - gone - wowza !!!

If you donate to schools or libraries every one else can enjoy those books too as much as you do. You can spread the joy to others.🙂
Get yourself a farely small size box and put your most favorites in there and donate the rest. Just suggestions.

Can’t believe you big your boys are getting.
Me either! It’s crazy
Getting a dehumidifier and an air cleaner for the bathroom might actually help or even solve your problem. Good luck!
Yes, and also I let the exhaust fan run for approx. 45mins to an hour after showering/bathing. Thankfully, no mold or mildew.

Add an dehumidifier to the bathroom should help with the mold problem
I enjoyed this so much!❤
I have a file tote with a lid. I have a folder for each grade. I save school paperwork, pictures and anything else that's sentimental in there!
I need to do something like that!
I got a 13 pocket folder for each of our girls. I put each grade in a pocket and it keeps it all organized and contained.
where did you get the sweatshirt you are wearing in this video?
It’s from Aerie! I love it!
Yes I was thinking it’s so cute and cozy!
For papers from school and arts, I suggest to celebrate it and display it for some time and put away, then after a week or so, just throw it secretly.
I’m having issues finding the baking soda cleaner by Mrs’s Meyers I love that stuff! ❤
The only place I get it from is grove collaborative!

What was that fan thing you had on your shelf to help with the moisture in your bathroom? We also have a very tiny bathroom and deal with mold too!
Ugh I’m sorry! That is the worst. I feel your pain. It’s called damp rid!
You may want to get a product called Damp Rid. You can place it in the bathroom to absorb moisture that isn’t escaping.

When you showed your "fall decor" 💀
🤣🤣🤣
I believe I have the exact same dishwasher as you. The other day the soap thing never opened in the cycle. Have you had that happen? Do you think something was stuck in front of it so it couldn't?
I’ve had that happen before and it was when the pod I put in was angled funny and kinda jammed the little door. Otherwise I haven’t had that happen!
Hmmmmmm we use liquid so who knows! 😄
Yesterday when i got home from work, put away the laundry and broke down boxes from online orders!
Oooh breaking down boxes is one of those things that really adds up for me! I dread it haha
'anxiety' is not what you were feeling. say worried, say stressed.
No, actually, I do have anxiety and have had it my entire life. I feel anxiety on a daily basis.
Do you keep all your clothes in the closet and is this a shared space?
Yes we share one little closet!
I would eliminate extra pillows on the bed
Believe it or not we use them all 😂😂

Usually the pink stuff for a deep clean but on an everyday basis I just use my multipurpose spray
