- FINALLY!!!! I've been waiting so long to get my hands on the remake of FInal Fantasy VII! This was such an inredible start and I am STOKED to continue this story, meeting the characters, understanding Cloud and his backstory, and learning the combat! I hope you enjoy my first reactions of FFVII Remake!

one of the best parts from the FF series, AFTER FFX of course! FF Remake, FF Rebirth and FF Crisis Core are highly recommended! Have lots of fun with it!!! The new edition of FF7 consists of 3 parts (I think the original was 4 CDs back then), of which there are currently 2 (the 2nd is called REBIRTH with the addition and the 3rd part will probably only come in 2-3 years) and then there is the prequel Crisis Core!!! They're all really great, although the minigames in Rebirth were too much for ME, but that's a matter of taste! and for the fact that you liked FFX so much and have now started with FF7 Remake, you get a Abo! Hey Mondilyr! Happy I caught your part 2 stream earlier this week, and it was a treat! I was wondering, do you have any plans on playing/streaming the OG game? I only ask because your viewers, including myself, will likely reference the OG to compare when giving little tidbits. Of course, they're bound to be spoilers if you have intentions on playing the original.
Second, I wanted to give you a bit of a tip. Specifically on Limit Breaks. As you may know, there is a good potential to waste a Limit Break in a few ways. Nothing game breaking, but definitely annoying when it happens.
The first way is the most obvious way. If your hits don't land, then the limit break is wasted. By extension, I suggest that when using a Limit Break to keep your controlled character being the one using the Limit Break. I can't confirm 100%, but I find that when you connect your hit, you will always complete the limit break and get all your hits when doing that.
What I mean is, if you switch to another character while the character you're no longer controlling is using their limit break, the enemy is more likely to get out of the animation and you'll get like on or two hits in, but miss the final and most devastating hit.
Also, as you noticed how bosses have various phases, your limit break can be wasted if the first hit triggers a new phase. It will cancel the limit break, as well as missing all of the hits to maximize the damage. Limit breaks are best used at the last phase of the bosses, but since this is your first play through, then either use it when you're absolutely desperate, or at the beginning of the new phase of the boss'.
