A great message against bullying. But what else ? What message ? That if you're not beautiful you can never be confident. Even not enough confident to go to school. Because you should only be confident when you surely know that you are beautiful. Message that if you are not beautiful then you should keep a box around your head & only take it out if you somehow figure out that you are beautiful.
I was called ugly when I was younger and apparently I wasn’t really ugly. But it sticks with you and some people don’t get that. Trauma can manifest in alsorts of ways.
I was a very unattractive child, I didn't start really looking after myself until I reached 19. I'm not saying I'm gorgeous now or whatever, but I look after myself and know that I'm not ugly. However I don't think I'm ever going to recover fully from the years I was bullied as a child by other kids for my looks and weight. Their words still effect me every time I put on makeup or get dressed up. The body is going through so many changes when youre young, stretching and growing, you can't predict what you're gonna look like on the other side. I'm thankful for this new movement among girls that promotes supporting and looking after each other.
This is a great example of how bullying and harsh words can damage someone's self-esteem and create insecurities. Her situation was "less severe" but what about the more serious cases. Always be careful what you say.
I have really really toxic friends, and whenever they said negative shit about me i dont really care, the funny part was one of them said they knew what they were saying could really hurt someone's feelings and make them feel insecure, and that was the moment i realized how shitty these people were, if any of u guys have friends like this then its time to drop them

The fact that you think someone should go to hell for taking away their own lives speaks volume. Why should someone get punished for something they didn't want? Getting therapy is expensive, so is getting antidepressants. No one should be called weak for battling their own mind, it's because of people like you that make people with issues feel weak.
@@Navy_Boots Well my point actually was that there's no point in changing yourself to live in society. I believe I just exist in this society but I live somewhere else.
@@mars_taem4537 Well I understand you good enough. Listen problem isn't people are bad, problem is we're too sensitive. Point is not about fighting against people's opinion about you but point is whether or not you have asked yourself the question "why?". Yes people are going to say a lot but what causes inside of your head to make you feel bad?. You gotta fight demons inside and the outside ones will fade away. Sure it is easier to say than to do, but all I can do in my position is "say". When you say people call you fat and it's hard to fight, you should've asked yourself "Why it is hard". It is because the way you evaluate values is wrong. You keep evaluating the values according to society then it causes pain, and then you fight against it which makes it really hard. Change your values and thinking fight to change it, world will change by itself. I just want to encourage you. Society is illusions built on lies, there's nothing good nothing bad, even freedom fighters were most selfish, No one fights for anyone, but everyone fights for their own values which are often associated with people that's it. People live and all the time try to seek and throw illusions out, but in fact the only illusion they had to question was the reality they had lived in. Everything is relative, more confined perspective is more relative it comes. From cosmological perspective we're merely physical processes, we humans are not much more than a rock to universe. The biggest advice I can ever give you is "Try to be idiot, and not a genius" Because there's no genius everything starts with being idiot. If you have will and courage enough to be an idiot in front of people you will be much more happier and open minded one day. Question everything like a psycho. This mirror of reality is just one question away from breaking, but we love reflections so much that despite having eyes we've lost our sight.

To everyone writing that the moral of a story is that "no one is ugly" it's actually vice versa. This girl THINKS she is ugly, everyone mocks her for being ugly, but when she removes her box everyone aknowledges the truth. It can be inverted - someone can think he/she is beautiful, but people's reaction will quickly reveal the truth

As a stutterer, in my own experience: the best way to avoid the discomfort of being laughed at is standing proud, and owning your issues. It's rough, you need a lot of mental strength, but it's worth.
Hye , buddy I stutter too, i have a problem, more like a habit of speaking too fast or taking too many breaks while speaking And because if this problem, ever since my childhood, everyone has been making fun of me my close friends, family, relatives,. classmates, bullies etc Earlier i used to feel so bad and disheartened when such things Happened to me cause people always judged me based on my weakness and oversaw my strong points, whicj i hated the most But growing up i realised that i should accept myself however i am , and learn to be happy with my flaws. 😊 Now whenever a Person tries to mock at me for my speaking disorder, i no longer lower down my eyes or confidence in shame But instead i reply to the bully, stand up to them, and give savage replies 😀😀😀😀😀 BTW i am a high school student from India
Yeah, we all have flaws. It's what makes us human. But making fun of someone based on your opinion is wrong. Even a good guy can be seen as a bad guy through someones eyes. Not everything is black or white.
I used to be a stammer, and it's actually possible to get rid of it completely. For most of my life I thought it was a brain thing, but it's actually a habit that you develop to the point that it changes how you speak entirely. To get rid of it, it takes work and practice, but it's still doable. You have to remember when it first began and why, because no one is born a stammer. I searched my memory a few years ago and remembered that it started because my father and his uncle are stammers. I was about 5-6 years old and I looked up to my father. I remembered asking my mother why my father stammered and she said "it's a brain thing". I asked if I had that as well, and she said that I obviously didn't since I was speaking perfectly fine. I started imitating my father and from then on, for the next 20 years, I was a big stammer. I even went to speech therapy and the THERAPIST told me "it's a brain thing", when it's actually not. I even used to short-circuit sometimes and not a word would come out no matter how much I tried. My parents never said anything either and just accepted that I was like my father and that it was genetic, and my mother had forgotten that I didn't have it to begin with. You can actually get rid of it. Just remember when and why and tell yourself that you're actually not a stammer because no one is born a stammer.
Belief is a hell of a thing, we often let it define us, and control our rationalizations, and worst of all people are mean, and their comments cut deep, but when you run from it, you give it power of your will. The body and soul seperates and the dominos of your life go in the wrong directions, dreams slowly erode and start to feel like false hopes, and action has zero motivation to act on. Man or girl, whoever you are, you're place in world of unknown barriers and boundaires gaurded by akward experiences, and the only way to go through is to accept and detach. At the end of the day, its a belief with physiological responses. Right now, no matter how you look, or who you are, there is always stairs to walk out of your frozen hell. The face you have now, is worth something to someone, most people think their a 3/10 or somewhere around this, but if they focus their experience on getting their act together, clean up their humanistic domain, dress right, clean right, work out right, you can make that an easy 7/10 or higher. And being average is quite the pro rather than a con, as if you have the right hand to play. and If you can make people feel comfortable and have fun you can make it with anyone. The people who hold you back, are just shadows, and cant touch you. Maybe you can'T emphazie with the character in your own skin, but atleast you can better understand someone else when they get possessed by adversities. We all face the same emotions, but they can spiral and evolve to more complex and less understood ones. why? well even with Skinny people with good looks, do face the same emotions but dont share the same lived experience. But who cares, when you cant control that, as what should be fair and right and what you deserve or entiled is nothing. When you understand that, let go of the control and ease into the world, the arrogance and pride disolves into humility and acceptance.
@John Hero what is it with people these days taking saying *anything* nice about somebody as simping? 💀 like God, stop it bruh🤚 But to answer your question= No.

I can relate with this. In fact, till this time I criticize myself for how many flaws I'm holding. I relate to her deeply. When I was in high school, and even now in college, I just want to wear a bag over my head and not be seen. I've been called ugly and treated like trash my whole life and I can't stand people looking at me. You may be like one of those people that say "it shouldn't bother you, who cares" but you don't understand how fucking hard someone with anxiety and depression tries not to think of it, it's not easy as you think it is, even if you experienced it, you should know not everyone's experiences are going to be the same and some people's will be harder to solve than others. Anxiety and body dysmorphia is hard to get rid of, wanting to be like everyone else to the point you and your voices put you down.
@@Navy_Boots wow... What preach, come talk about how committing su1c1d3 is a sin when you've experienced bullying, just because someone commits suicide doesn't mean they're weak, if they held out for that long they're stronger than anyone, no one knows the battle someone with depression goes through.

Yeah, we all have flaws. It's what makes us human. But making fun of someone based on your opinion is wrong. Even a good guy can be seen as a bad guy through someones eyes. Not everything is black or white.
Hey, I stutter too. It is true what you said.

Still living on another planet. Fantasy gets one no where. There's no such thing as being too thin or too rich. End of story.
Yeah I know. If it’s a fat person by the end of the movie they’re super skinny and attractive. If it’s a “nerdy” school girl she puts some makeup on and all of the sudden everyone loves her. If it’s a skinny dude he starts working out and stuff. Or sometimes what they do is already have the character be super attractive but they don’t realize it like in this case here. Like y’all are hypocrites!
@@ronan5074 ikr it’s shallow. it gives a message that people have to fit in the beauty standards to accept themselves
I loved the duck box 1! So cute!
It’s really messed up how they just won’t let her keep her damn box, it’s not hurting anyone, you don’t just rip off someone’s hat or jacket do you?
😂😂😂
Finally,a teacher that actually cares about the bullied girl
that's what makes this series unrealistic
In reality they should

What is the drama name ?
This movie really shows that words are sometimes more powerful than physical attacks.
Her life became completely normal, however if it weren't for the fact she looked so beautiful (matching the criteria of accepted norm of beauty), it would have taken even more time to recover!!
“Her life became completely normal” lol that’s not what she said at the end of this movie lol. It indeed got better but she had a new journey in front of her. Wish there was a sequel 😭
wow just look at where looking good can get you, the guy who bullied you gets a crush on you instantly
Ikr lol if the girl was ugly the bully would keep on bullying her. Pretty privileged.👍
emotional damage
God ussop hello 👋
Kinda sad actually lol. But he got better as the series went on
That makeup was on point for no mirror lol
There is so many people like her so schools should be watchful on this kind of students and teachers should encourage other students to respect students like that
This actually reminds me of high school, theres this small frame kid whos bullied by basically everyone at school. I didnt want to get targeted by helping, so i asked if hes ok, n helped him afterwards, then w talked n noticed hes a pretty chill guy. i stood up for him, n asked ppl to stop, obviously it didnt completely stop, but my circle of friends got to know him more n we became close friends. 20 yrs later, we still hang out for a drink :) one day he mentioned to me, he was planning to kill himself if that had continued. sometimes its a small gesture tht can make a difference

I relate to her deeply. When I was in high school, and even now in college, I just want to wear a bag over my head and not be seen. I've been called ugly and treated like trash my whole life and I can't stand people looking at me. I wear a mask everywhere I go outside just to cover my face, and I've been doing that since before the pandemic. Insecurity and social anxiety is a real struggle, and I'm glad that she overcame it.

I hope you find confidence one day and embrace your flaws and conquer your social anxiety and insecurities. May your self confidence outweigh what people think about you.

Omg youre just like me! I always wear a mask to hide myself and have anxiety when im in public, in a way im glad im not the only one..
Let’s take the moment to appreciate how much effort Mystery Recapped puts into his content for us. Great job
well he's making hundreds of thousands of dollars each month, so who wouldn't put in the effort?
@@ypree2518 oh shit your right I didn’t realize he has almost 2 million subscribers shit what happened to having 1 thousand subscribers he grew quickly
A similar experience happened to me just a while ago. i’m 13 now but this was when i was 12. I was diagnosed with BDD…I was so scared to take my mask off bc i thought i was ugly, and what made me feel worse was when people said “r u ugly behind that mask?” and would try to make me take it off. I got trauma after that and never wanted to take it off. I left school to go to therapy and after that slowly got enough confidence to show my face more, and then i finally ditched the masks. I felt so much better i never wanted to wear one again. When i took it off people commented on how pretty i was and even praised my biggest insecurities, saying they were perfect. I then finally realized that i’m not ugly. This video makes me feel like i’m not alone ❤️
@Heisenberg bro what
@Heisenberg yeah i’m young but anything can happen to anyone, and btw it didn’t start like that i already had family problems and depression and it manifested into that
@Heisenberg ok well u can keep that to urself, no use commenting on my post to say that it’s cringe…
@Heisenberg anyways no use talking over this so let’s just stop, bye ig
@Heisenberg I don't really understand the mentality of these edgy 14 year olds who think "oh you have different experiences than me? you're just sensitive. i am superior to you"
I realize a little boy that called her. Ugly was Minton.
