who knew the hardest map would lead to the hardest salvage?
It's my favorite expert map. There's honestly a lot of strats that work and many of them are unique to the map. Rosalia is actually really good on this map due to the multiple lanes, if you do a chimps run of this soon I think it'd be cool to showcase the newest hero.
@@diodebridge as a semi bad player (ive only done inefernal and dark castle chimps on the "extreme" maps) isnt rosalia bad on multi lane maps? she kind of suffers from the same fate that pursuit heli does in getting stuck between the lanes, no?

@@ninck8992 Challenges were being made using this concept the week Ravine was released. SupremeAvocado had one using ice/alch on r90 to force all of the DDT’s to the right lane.
It’s just extremely nuanced information.

@@ninck8992 its pretty easy to figure out even if you just mess around in sandbox. you can force the bad and any other single blimp round to go on the left lane btw

Do not reply to bot comments. If you want them gone, either the uploader has to try to manually cull them, or they have to not achieve their goal. No matter how much you want to flex and show off how great you are at sassing bots, do not reply to them, do not take any notice of them other than just reporting them. Trust me on this one, I've dealt a lot with bot interactions in my job (for a much more innocuous reason I hasten to add) and literally any interaction other than reporting raises their metrics and visibility.

Ravine has alternating balloons if I'm not mistaken, so the "weird" bloon paths resulted from popping different balloons before they could split.

So one tower combination I learned is really hilarious from speedruns: Plasma Accelerator + Spirit of the Forest. Super Cerams have 60 hp, the accelerator does 50 damage to primary target, and the spirit's worst brambles still do 10 ceramic damage. This two tower combination exactly pegs every super ceram with good micro, and still leaves you the particle accelerator to do with as you need.
Also it's surprisingly cheap for how effective it is. The first place you really see it used in the all chimps speedrun is high finance, to give you an idea how reliable it is.
Regarding the BAD going into the other lane that one time, I seem to remember a bug where you could switch the Moab’s lane by Moab pressing it back to the other lane. Now obviously BADs aren’t affected by Moab press but maybe it still recognizes being hit by it in the code just not pushed back. Hypothetically, I think that could mean that if a Moab press hits it at the exact moment it spawns, before the track splits, it could switch onto the other track. Of course that’s just my best guess and relies really heavily on assumptions about spaghetti code but I honestly have no clue what else would cause it

042 spike would have done more dmg since there are four lanes, so basically dmgs times four and spikes last longer. It overcome the half pierce of top path
I think the Superglue run was salvageable, you just needed to use that extra 1k from the village (and some other money you can save) to buy two first strikes as soon as possible
Gotta love the dedication from ISAB. Once he likes a challenge, he's so locked in.
