I like this new prestige system because it also introduces more variety in a arenals for each toon. Lets be honest, every toon that we bring in for a boarding group of some kind brings the same gags with the exception that a toon might either have trap or drop. This make each toon more distinct from one another in terms of what they bring into a fight.
That's something I've been saying for a while now. Training points and prestige create much more variety among the player base to customize how they want their toon to play instead of just having all but one track that some other toon will most likely have in a situation. Toontown's training (and so much more) got a modern quality of life update to it and turned out to be great. Don't you think?
I have to agree with you.. In terms of throw it's the best choice in terms of it being organic.. It gives you the advantage of killing Level 11s easily while also providing the same advantages of a railroad if it's lured through a wedding cake.. And even if you run out of Birthday Cakes, you still have pianos to finish the job.. Still, I'm super excited for what the team of TTCC has to offer. :D
in TTO i never even realized that organic gags were a thing. i just thought that by growing gags in your garden, you would simply get them for free instead of needing to pay jellybeans for them. and i think the problem was that the damage increase was so minuscule. even now i dont see the point of it since it takes a ton of time to get the organic gags, plus i usually multitoon anyways, so im never at a loss of power
also, an org fire hose (33 dmg) counteracts a newly earned one (27) equaling 2 fully developed fire hoses. ive had organic squirt for about 2 years now and i dont regret it at all.
I'd have to manually check if it's enough. Two regular seltzers do 71.4 damage which is just short of destroying a level 7. And it looks like 1 org seltzer + 1 hose would be enough for a lured 8.
I once was in a Cog HQ and I witnessed a Toon miss *TWICE IN A ROW* with Organic Hypno Goggles. I was jaw dropped in awe and we all couldn't believe what we just saw!
in terms of practicality, the org gags look kinda like: 1: Sound (the stuff in the video is my explanation, as the uses that i explained over discord (yes, i am stanley the soundless deer) can and will come in handy a lot of times. if you multi toon, give them all org sound.) 1: Throw (tied) (stuff loopy said) 3: Squirt (comment by curlydizzymuffin explains why this is here) 4: Drop (comment by urbanpie) 5: Trap (if you have no railroad you have no org slot) 6: Lure (with 1 stun the accuracy is the same regardless) 7: Toon-up (just no)
You're underestimating lure quite a bit. You go from 30% chance of missing to 20%. That is a 33% decreased chance of missing. 33% improvement is a LOT.
I think on paper, you can argue that some gags are better than others org. BUT, I love that org gags can help you get creative in how you strategize. Yes, we can ALL get org cake, and ALWAYS use the same strategy in a Bullion mint, using the sound gags that are appropriate for the line up; but where's the fun in that? I had org lure for a long time, and just like you said, it's AMAZING when training lure. It hit way more, and by the time I got to big magnet, it had the same percentage as hypno goggles! It would lure level 12 cogs! I was able to sit back on lure, and focus on other gags. I think there's a satisfaction in coming up with your own strategy that works for you and I think toons should be more open minded instead of yelling at me when I accidentally use a fog when "one was not needed".
I kinda disagree with you on Org Drop. Trap and Drop get stunacc (Trap gives lure stunacc while sound, squirt or throw gives Drop stun acc). This means that a Elephant Trunk/Whole Fruit Pie + a Piano would one hit 12s. Also, a bike horn + org Toontanic can one hit a row of 12s, which can be compared to a small magnet/large magnet/hypno + org Railroad.
I feel like organic drop should not only increase damage, but also increase accuracy. So many people choose trap instead solely due to drops almost horrible accuracy, if organic drop were to remedy this, even just a bit, I think a lit more people would use drop.
Yeah a lot of people don't seem to recognize how useful the trapdoor killing a level 7 is as you said. It's the only level 5 gag that can do that. I used them all the time when I had organic trap.
The biggest difference between organic and prestige is that prestige is permanent. If you prestige your Drops, ALL of your drops from now on will have higher accuracy. If you grow organic drops, only those specific drops you got from the garden will get a damage boost. If you buy them from the gag shop, they're just normal. To dedicate so much time for such a small bonus that is gone the instant you use it really doesn't seem worth it, in my opinion.
when it comes to prestige gags, what if when you advanced in prestige the effect was better but different? like, prestige 3 sound didn't have the bonus damage but gained the ability to not knock-back lured cogs or something?

Loopy, all the recent discussions about Corporate Clash sound very promising, but I have yet to hear a predicted release date. Is this something the staff don't want to divulge, or is it not agreed upon?
I think they don't want to release an ETA until everything's completely stable. That way if something pops up there'll be no fans disappointed by the delay
This is a really good explanation! I absolutely agree with you on throw being the best organic gag track. (And the only good one... Sorry ya’ll) And I do think that the organic gag system needs tweaking tbh because, like you said, the only track worth making organic is throw and it takes way too long for the trees to grow. I really like the concept of prestiges because they seem like they’ll be way better and more useful than most organic gags, and they’ll bring a lot more variety to toons and their gag tracks.
And organic Geyser can kill a row of 11s not level nines it is to higher than that if it's organic that is but if it is and then it will kill a row of tens
Accuracy buff from Organic Lure was kinda pointless since people could increase/cap Lure's accuracy with Toon-Up, Trap, etc. The current Lure accuracy by levels 1-8 in CC goes by: 50-50-60-60-70-70-80-80

Lure is the best organic gag IMO. Throw's a close second but that 10% accuracy increase is a big buff

Organic squirt is actually the most underrated organic track in the game. Lots of people don't know
(Org) 1 cloud + 1 cloud = unlured 12
(Org) 1 cloud + 1 hose = lured 12
(Org) 1 geyser + 1 hose = lured row of 12
(Org) 1 hose + 2 hoses = lured 11
(Org) 1 cloud = lured 10
(Org) 2 hoses = lured 9
(Org) 1 geyser = unlured 9
