Mr.Roger Thank You For Your Tutorial I'm A Senior From Puerto RICO living in the Bronx, New York I Love your paintings I'm an Artist s myself but I'm loosing my vision 69 years old .Combat Heavy Eng . 25 years of service thats were I got my blindness from .GBY Sir .
Roger, thanks for sharing your talents with us. Your art has the perfect balance between photo realism and painterly impressionism. I also enjoy watching you on PBS as well.
I'm continuously "gobsmacked" at how talented you are! You make it look so easy. I was thinking how we first met some 38 years ago at Countryside Mall. I managed Surreys Mens wear and you were doing a gigantic Dolphin painting next door at Robinsons. You were kind enough to allow me to display some of your paintings in my store windows....seems like yesterday.
For no reason, I have never used Windsor Newton. I liked the Richeson Triart paints but they don't have them in small tubes anymore. I use M.Graham and the old standard which is good and always available Luiquitex heavy body.
Thank you so much.
This is the best tutorial on painting palm trees.
Quite daunting things to paint.
I've painted lots and lots of palms but I sure know what you mean. They can be challenging.
Roger, You are THE Master of painting Palm Trees, best sky holes too. Nobody does it better!!! Stunning painting!
Nice job, I love sabal palms, and to me, they are among the most difficult trees to paint.

Hi Doc, yes, that was a long time ago and painting that large dolphin painting in the mall. I wish I knew where that painting is now.
Wow! 🥰
I live in Fort Pierce Florida and this looks like our driveway. I’m waiting for a rabbit to run across the road.Amazing 👍
It was actually at a place called Princess Park just south of St Augustine.
This was really awesome to watch, very inspirational!! :D
Thanks very much.
Roger that was a great video. I shared it with a lot of my students.
That's so nice. Thanks for sharing it.
Love, love, love this.
Thanks Catherine
Amazing work !
So helpful for a scene I am working on now. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for letting me know.
Magic! Thank you!
Very nice
In one episode, you said that you had 2 Indian Yellows. If I had to guess, I’d go with Richeson and the darker tone is Windsor & Newton

What paintbrushes were you using?
Palm trees and Birch trees are my favorites. I too find them fascinating. I love it and you haven't even finished yet. That was over too fast.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I give up. I'd mistaken your painting to be your reference! eeh eeeh!!
