Ok so I conducted a re-count of the total number of deaths in this video. Since I also counted falls, I ended up with 212 deaths. There was also a missed death at 3:38:38, the very last death during the Twin Frogs fight. Here are some numbers: 212 total deaths 63 deaths to Spawn of Oggdo 69 deaths to Twin Frogs 62,3% of deaths were to the Frogs. 2 hours, 45 minutes and 53 seconds were spent at the two Frog Fights combined, And 44,2% of the entire video was spent fighting Frogs. I remember in Elden Ring when he showed the camera his controller, he pressed the dodge button and as soon as you hear the click his character dodged, it was near perfect input and he still tried spinning it as delayed when EVERYBODY in chat at that moment told him there was no delay and he just flat out ignored it. This dude deserves everything bad in life.
Not to defend DSP, but there is pretty horrible input delay in Elden Ring, especially on PS5. So bad in fact there were several articles written about it. He was somewhat right, he just explained it poorly like always.

Two things that annoys me with dsp in this. He has no damn clue how force slow apparantly works, he thinks the enemies under force slow should stay slowed no matter what he does under the duration of the slow, when it actually works in the simple way of the enemy is slowed til you hit the enemy. Then the enemy returns to normal speed. Other things that annoys me is his thought process around the dual wield, it aint supposed to maximize your dmg output, it simply is the stance that helps you be the most aggressive withhow the parry button is the cancel button for any animation in the dual wield stance, so if you atk and the enemy does a normal atk then you can parry mid animation and continue attacking said enemy
It physically hurts how little he knows about Star Wars. Despite how much of it he's been exposed to. Though he still tries to 'flex' is knowledge at every possible moment. It makes him look like more like a fake fan. Like Rogue Squadron is a game that's 2 decades old, and Rogue One is a movie. They have nothing to do with each other outside of sharing Rogue in the title.

Couple of notes: 1. I really get a kick out of whenever Dave says "jump" or "dodge" as if Cal will somehow hear his words and listen to his instructions. 2. The main reason why Dave is struggling so much on the frog is bc he doesn't understand how dual saber stance works. The attack animations are long in that stance, but you can basically cancel out of them at anytime by pressing the block button. Instead of hitting the block button to cancel, Dave is desperately mashing dodge in the middle of his attack animations, which leads to him getting totally rekted
Dude did you see the mod being made right now that adds full dynamic Dismemberment. When I initially played first game I couldn't keep playing because of the lack of limb Dismemberment like jedi academy.
Dear God, half this video is battles against oggdos. I get it, I fought those bastards on grandmaster (and decided I valued my sanity too much to try to beat the Force tear) but seriously, this was all he did for multiple streams?
I actually just played the game through on grandmaster again, this time without lowering the difficulty outside of Force tears. It took me about five or six tries on Knight (same difficulty as Phil) to kill the oggdos. To be fair, I was specced into blaster stance and I had 11 stims, but those were also options of which this dumbass could have availed himself but chose not to.
1:05:23 Hes getting hit because you cant dodge while youre mid-attack animation with Dual Wield, you can only parry. The other weapons are the opposite, you cant parry when youre in the animation but you can dodge anytime.

I swear, playing Dark Souls must've rewired his brain, because everytime he plays an action game like this he insists on trying to dodge everything all the time rather than just block or parry (especially when they game make's parrying attacks with good timing a core mechanic). He just ends up making the game harder for himself. Edit: I also hate how frame rate became this like buzzword for salty gamers to throw out whenever they're not doing well. Like, yeah DSP, the reason you can't dodge must be the frames that you probably can't even notice because you aren't wearing your glasses.

Other things that annoys me is his thought process around the dual wield, it aint supposed to maximize your dmg output, it simply is the stance that helps you be the most aggressive withhow the parry button is the cancel button for any animation in the dual wield stance, so if you atk and the enemy does a normal atk then you can parry mid animation and continue attacking said enemy
Seeing this makes me wants to play it again. I had mostly fun despite the piss poor optimisation on PC.

It physically hurts how little he knows about Star Wars. Despite how much of it he's been exposed to. Though he still tries to 'flex' is knowledge at every possible moment. It makes him look like more like a fake fan. Like Rogue Squadron is a game that's 2 decades old, and Rogue One is a movie. They have nothing to do with each other outside of sharing Rogue in the title.

Couple of notes: 1. I really get a kick out of whenever Dave says "jump" or "dodge" as if Cal will somehow hear his words and listen to his instructions. 2. The main reason why Dave is struggling so much on the frog is bc he doesn't understand how dual saber stance works. The attack animations are long in that stance, but you can basically cancel out of them at anytime by pressing the block button. Instead of hitting the block button to cancel, Dave is desperately mashing dodge in the middle of his attack animations, which leads to him getting totally rekted

I get it, I fought those bastards on grandmaster (and decided I valued my sanity too much to try to beat the Force tear) but seriously, this was all he did for multiple streams?
I actually just played the game through on grandmaster again, this time without lowering the difficulty outside of Force tears.
It took me about five or six tries on Knight (same difficulty as Phil) to kill the oggdos. To be fair, I was specced into blaster stance and I had 11 stims, but those were also options of which this dumbass could have availed himself but chose not to.

Hes getting hit because you cant dodge while youre mid-attack animation with Dual Wield, you can only parry.
The other weapons are the opposite, you cant parry when youre in the animation but you can dodge anytime.

I swear, playing Dark Souls must've rewired his brain, because everytime he plays an action game like this he insists on trying to dodge everything all the time rather than just block or parry (especially when they game make's parrying attacks with good timing a core mechanic). He just ends up making the game harder for himself.
Edit: I also hate how frame rate became this like buzzword for salty gamers to throw out whenever they're not doing well. Like, yeah DSP, the reason you can't dodge must be the frames that you probably can't even notice because you aren't wearing your glasses.

Not to defend DSP by no means, but this game definitely needed more development time because it does have a lot of issues. I couldn’t even finish the bounties for a solid month because of a bug. I still enjoyed it, but for $75 it could’ve been way better
