I propose a challenge!! Do like a bingo game, you need to use all evidence items, for example, you managed to use all items but the EMF 5 evidence, now you'll need to play the game untill you find a ghost with EMF 5 and then if you succeed, you'll be able to cross the EMF and win.
The shade didn't hunt until you stepped on the stairs. Working as intended. Stairs are just messed up because they don't count as the floor they're connected to. Staircases should count as both rooms they're in, or split partway down.
