In the class I have said straightly go for PROI if person stays in India for less than 182 days during preceeding F.Y this holds good in practical life,but for exam purpose icai is following different assumption where in even though a person stays for less than 182 days during preceeding year you should further check if he comes to India for specified purposes then u have to consider him as PRI.
