Hey ik this video is like a year ago but refer to Dr v channel for your skincare needs. She gives the best advice. And your dermatologist was really really mad to suggest you glycolic acid let alone 10% of it. Glycolic acid is the worst AHA out there for your skin and it irritayes the heck out of your skin.
Hi Nishitha! Thank you so much. Your comment came at the perfect time and really picked up my mood. Thanks for your insight on what you expect put of beauty influencer videos too ❤
THE DEDICATION 👏👏 I am waiting for both these serums from CAP too. So excited! Omg this was your first vit C? I was so scared to start with a 20% concentration so I got 10% before this haha. Kudos! Great job at the review 💜💜
I ordered for the acne control serum only because of your amazing video . I really enjoyed the vids , just shows how you manage to focus on the little details. Hope to see more content soon😁😊
Can we layer vit c 20% with hydrating niacinamide serum 10%(not with azelaic 10%) at same routine esp morning.....usually I don't use moisturizer at AM straightly I go to the sunscreen (with moisturizer)
Hi Priya! 💕 Thank you for asking this great question! Though I can share my experience it wouldn't be right for me to give individual skincare advice since I'm not a doctor. Definitely check with your dermatologist about what you can do with your serums :) there are great videos on the topic of combining actives by dermatologists and formulators online too!
Watching u for the 1st time.. u seem really genuine.. I want to ask that how did u repair ur skin after damaged barrier issue by over exfoliation... M having oily acne prone skin...
Heyy Sam, I too have sensitive, acne-prone but combination skin which is super prone to burning and redness with a lot acne-fighting ingredients like benzoyl peroxide. I was only wondering if you could suggest if azelaic acid 10% would be safe for me in contrast to the effect it had on your skin?
Hey sneha, unfortunately you cant buy them without incurring some hefty customs and shipping costs in India. I did a video about some cerave dupes in India if you wanna check it out 🤓
Long time back after watching your video I have started using retinoid with the same moisturizer but after some time I noticed that this moisturizer is making my skin red and giving red bump kind of acnes So o stop using the moisturizer and until I have not find any suitable moisturizer for my red acne prone skin. It would so humble of u if u can recommend me the best moisturizer.
Hey! Since I don't know your skin and I'm not a dermatologist, it wouldn't be right for me to recommend products to individual people. I definitely recommend visiting a dermatologist to help you out with your skin situation :)
Hey, I'm sorry that's happening 🥺 It's very frustrating to try to fix skin issues with expensive products but not get results. I really think it's a good idea to do a consultation with a dermatologist who can understand your skin and help you make it better. It wouldn't be right for me to recommend products to individual people because I'm not qualified for that. Best of luck! 💕
I have only used one bottle of Minimalist 10% Vitamin C previously in my life. I never had any reaction to it, it was really gently on my skin. So is it safe for me to go ahead now with this CAP 20% Vitamin C serum?
Hey Suru 🤓 Thank you so much for your question. Though I didn't have a problem starting out with 20% vitamin c, only you and your dermatologist can decide what is best for your individual skin. I'm not a doctor so I can't give individual skincare advice :3 I will say however that if you do end up buying the chemist at play vitamin c, go for the mini version. Mine oxidised before I finished the whole bottle and it broke my heart to dispose of it 😅
@@Teja08642 I can tell you this much that I never had any problems with Minimalist Vit-C on my sensitive acne-prone combination skin. But the Chemist Vit-C broke me out. Maybe it's too harsh of a concentration for my skin, maybe my skin does better with only 10%.
@@katana.kitsune past i used st botanica arbutin serum and klairs vit c serum i didn't notice any results in this two can u tell the good which are good for dull and oily acne skin type
@@Teja08642 Tbh, I have never seen results with any serum- be it niacinamide or vitamin C. Only retinol gives me results, but if you're hell-bent on using a Vit-C, I'd suggest you go for the Formularx one since it has a great formulation and it's non-irritating, but I honestly dunno whether it will give you the desired results you're looking for. Actually, using serums gives you that instant glow, but I'm yet to see the long-term results with any active other than retinol. In fact, I'm thinking of skipping serums altogether and just using retinol as required.

I got this product and my experience has been pathetic, while the ingredients read well - Vit C(20%) with Ferulic & Tocopherol is the best combination and the worlds best brand Skinceuticals has the exact same combo, this product is lousy. I have a non sensitive skin
Hi Sam, I'd love to know what's a great vitamin c option in India. Right now I'm not using any vitamin c, and my routine includes hyaluronic acid, the minimalist retinol in Squalene and their Salicylic acid serum. No vitamin c available in India has worked on me, and i wanted to add an antioxidant. Thanks for this video too!
Hey Aditi! I really enjoyed the one in this video.. but it wouldn't be right to suggest products to individuals because I don't know your skin and I'm not a professional. I really hope you find the perfect antioxidant for you! Btw do remember that vitamin c is not the only antioxidant :)

I have been using their vitamin c serum for past 15 days and have noticed a subtle glow on my face that wasn't before so I am with it🙂
