2024 CARE Award

Frederick County Association of REALTORS® (FCAR) presents our submission for the Maryland REALTORS® 2023/2024 William J. Neary Jr. Community Action and REALTOR® Excellence (CARE) Award.
The Frederick County Association of REALTORS® (FCAR) sees member service to the local community as an integral part of its mission. Community service runs deep in our organization-from the board level to committee chairs and even the individual members-our REALTORS® and Strategic Partners are encouraged to use their in-depth knowledge of local communities to give back in meaningful ways.
We are once again humbled by the generosity of our members, grateful for the participation of our brokerages, and thankful for the initiative taken by our board and committees. The association extends a special thanks to Lori Reeder, this year’s Community Service Committee Chair, and her Co-Chair, Frederick Genau. Their leadership and passion for serving the local community has lead to not only committee growth, but an increase in community visibility and relevance for the association.
