Hearing the story on how bad residential is gave me flashbacks 😂 I did 45 million in closed deals my first year in residential and quit a week before Christmas due to my kids writing they wanted to see daddy more for Christmas.. I start with a commercial brokerage next week and I’m so excited to start the new endeavor
I’ve owned a residential brokerage for 5 almost 6 years, been thinking about making the switch to commercial for a long time. Thanks for the great video!
Great video thank you all for sharing. I have been in the residential market for 8 years now as a broker and only invest in commerical real estate I have slowly started to make the transition over to selling more commerical and this helped a lot. Ever in the tampa bay fl area would love to meet up !!
It is a blessing to have you guys making this amazing content! I am currently in my second year in college at a great public school in California and I am trying to get into commercial this year because I just got my license. Any tips on getting into commercial brokerage while in college? I live in a pretty good market, Santa Barbara, CA.
I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I’d recommend taking some online classes on commercial real estate to further your education then reach out personally to CRE professionals in your area to see if they’re looking for internships. Best advice I can give there is to try and meet with the individual in person and be persistent
Great advice and love your channel off this one video@@TylerCauble . Quick question if you don't mind: would you recommend intering while college, and if so why or why not is a good/bad decision? Thank you in advance.
Hey guys, I hope all is well. Thank you very much for the content as it’s very useful. My story is I have been licensed for a few years now and am somewhat pursing CRE brokerage part-time. I have a very autonomous position in my current full-time job with remote work, and it allows me the flexibility to make cold calls from my home office and if need me, the ability to step out and meet clients, go to networking events, etc. The biggest reason holding me back on going full-time (besides making sure I have a good enough nest egg to cover expenses while I’m building my name), is that it ties you down to a demographic area. If eventually I wanted to move, all of my hard work and business contacts would be lost and I would need to start all over again. What is your recommendation to this? Find a position in the industry that has to do more with CRE analytics, etc, to at least stay in the game with the CRE industry? Thanks for your time.
Yes, you'll have to kind of start over once you move if you're a broker, but you'll have a significant amount of experience and it's far easier meeting people the 2nd go round than it is the first. I wouldn't let that discourage you - I had a broker recently move to Nashville from California and it took him a year to get back on his feet whereas it typically takes the beginner commercial real estate broker around 3 years to get started
In the UK we have such a high barrier to entry to selling commercial real estate. All the major firms here require you to do a University degree which is accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). There isn't an option to sell commercial real estate without having to spend years on a qualification which ultimately has no value other than a box ticking exercise.
Tyler, if you offer this launch pro program that’s very in-depth and is the top offering. Why does your introduction to commercial course cost so much?
The course and CRE Accelerator (formerly CRE Launch Pro) are two different offerings. Accelerator includes the course alongside group coaching calls with me, community, and additional downloads / interviews / opportunities. Happy to hop on a call and answer questions about the differences between the two but hope that helps 👊🏼
@@TylerCauble My question was in regards to your introduction to commercial course for 2k on your sales page I found on google. Why is your introduction course so expensive was my question, when it’s just an into course? Thank you! 🙏
@charliecental5657 it’s not just an intro course - it contains everything you need to get started buying commercial real estate. The downloads, alone, would cost more for you to hire an attorney to put together. It’s probably too cheap!
a new commercial realtor would be foolish not to watch this .... goood work men .... whats jesse and chads channels/?
Thank you! They mention them at the end of the show, Chad’s is @industrialize and Jesse’s is @JesseFragale
Not sure why my internet was so patchy but another great show fellas!
Haha it definitely added some humor 😂
2 of my favorite real estate youtubers in one place, definitely a great show!
Which ones?@@ronduprey5803
I appreciate you guys, watching from the Muscle Shoals.
Appreciate you, thanks for tuning in! 👊🏼

That's wild - I didn't realize the barrier of entry was so high, but it makes sense considering how large and impactful these transactions can be.
Do you guys know of any communities to join just for brokers that talk shop, collaborate , co -broke deals etc?
Unfortunately, I don’t, outside of CCIM but not sure if they have calls or anything outside of their networking events and education

@@TylerCauble I see. So in the accelerator you get that course plus all the other stuff you mentioned above?
Yep! That’s correct
