I have 3 Pro Gear Slims and love them all they have such beautiful special/limited editions and love they can be either 14k or 21k My 1st one I purchased was the Sailor Pro Gear Slim Shikiori - Vega which is a beautiful dark navy with gold glitter so looks like the night sky My 2nd Plus x Sailor Pro Gear Slim - Night Sakura the nib is different with a sakura engraved on it and the body is just beautiful with the flowers scattered all over it plus it came with a special ink to match and my 3rd is of of my pride and joy pens its the Sailor Pro Gear Slim Shikiori - Harusame with a 21k nib it just writes beautifully above all and the body contains 2 of my fav colours purple and mint
Thanks for the review. It is interesting how far steel nibs have come and that they are favorably comparable to gold nibs. My Leonardo Furore has a steel and a gold nib. I thought there would be a significant difference between the two. There is not. I am at the point for me that if a steel nib is offered, I choose the steel nib. Will the gold nib last longer? Perhaps but by that time I will be long gone from this Earth.
hey you said you wished they had a sailor pro gear shaped pen in a similar price point as the 1911 junior and they do its just called something different its the SAILOR Lecoule and they are in stock on either Pulp Addiction or Larry Post 2 aussie sellers just a FYI for you 😊

I find Sailor nibs so nice to use.
