Hello All! So, I've been working on this project for a while now. Since I'm uploading this after the Dream SMP finale for season 2 comes out, a LOT of the information in this video has changed. I will most likely be making a video on what happened today, so be sure to tune in for that!
I've loved Ranboo's character design since he first showed up on the SMP, so I decided to make a video on it. I mostly made it if I were to help script his character, and I know the event I speak about probably wont happen, It's all for some good fun :)

Just a note: he’s never going to have a villain arc, he’s said this before with the explanation that it doesn’t fit his character.
Also a new enderman trait that was added a day or so after this was posted he has silk touch hands and can pick up cake, grass blocks, spawners, ore & etc.
Another also the white part of him is most likely not a ghast or albino/white enderman, because he kills ghasts & he has said “things can change” when somebody pointed out that he said his other side was a ghast and he would be 100% enderman if he was part white/albino enderman. The better theories are he’s part iron golem or some sort of burned human with pale skin or something.

THEORY THEORY THEORY: After Dream got in prison, Ranboo started developing the silk touch power from enderman... Or at least for now... WHAT IF as time progresses, he'll gain the ability to teleport! Though Ranboo himself said he's pretty sure he won't gain that power, I think he's just might... In different streams, Ranboo appears and just places blocks around, like an enderman... He also makes sounds like enderman too when he's nervous OR hit by someone, at least when he's asleep... MAY I ALSO ADD that I think the thorns on his armor are supposed to be for like, when you hit an enderman, they hit back, except Ranboo doesn't go crazy... And when Ranboo wakes up from his little sleepwalks, he doesn't know what exactly happened (Then again, that's normal for a sleepwalker). ALSO he was talking to Eret (I think) before and said that he had grown taller. This all has led me to think that MAYBE Ranboo MIGHT become a COMPLETE enderman, THOUGH REMEMBER IT'S JUST A THEORY! Ranboo's other half hasn't been revealed so nobody can tell JUST yet what might happen with Ranboo.

I told my friend this theory but what if the other half of him is just essentially somone who wants to fulfill his desires/ wants to protect the good side of ranboo. For one, Ranboo has stated that the reason why the server is bad is because of people material items, there is a good possibility that badRanboo was the one who collected all of those “material items” for dream, and because good and bad ranboo are the same person, bad ranboo could of given that idea of collecting people’s material items. Which goes into 2)
Bad ranboo could be trying to protect good ranboo, we know the mental state and how essentially fragile ranboo is, i mean he has never killed a person at all, so bad ranboo being drawn to the most powerful people on the server, techno and dream, isnt too far fetched. When ranboo gave techno the axe of peace, he said that he didn’t remember, implying that bad ranboo could of come out to give him one of his most powerful weapons and good ranboo seeing this to then decided to give him more stuff and gifts. We also have him teaming with dream, scheming with him maybe for a favor for protection. I meam its not like bad ranboo is trying to hide what he is doing, maybe this is his way of saying “im trying to help”

I have a theory on what Ranboo's other blood is: going off the nether theory, he could be part ghast. The only white mob in the nether is the ghast, and ghast have red eyes, which the left side of his character is white with a red eye. Also, the part where Ranboo makes enderman noises when he's stressed lines up with him being a ghast too. Ghast are always letting out whispers and moans, but when they are attacked ( or are attacking, which would still be stressful because their attacks are easily deflected and 1 hit them) they let out shrieks and screams, just like Ranboo lets out enderman noises when stressed. Finally, the reason why he isn't huge like a ghast is because he just more enderman than ghast.

@@witheredmeliad5249 I just thought about how if Ranboo is part ghast, and he's immune to the egg's effects, he could destroy the egg using fireballs! Because he only has silk touch hands, and his power could get stronger, Ranboo could tap into his ghast side and learn how to shoot fireballs when trying to save people from the egg. Also, Ranboo could have learned how to teleport eventually, and he could be able to actually throw the fireballs instead of shooting them from his mouth. I just think it would be really cool seeing Ranboo teleporting around the egg, dogging attacks from the egg worshipers, and throwing fireballs at the egg to save everyone!

I doubt Ranboo is half ghast tbh...
In one of Fundy's recent streams he found out about Ranboo being able to pick up spawners & then started asking Ranboo a whole load of questions. One question was if his other side was a ghast & Ranboo either completely ignored the question or flat out denied it (can't remember which). Then in the Lost City of Mizu (Tales from the SMP) there's a 'history book' that describes Ranboo as half enderman and half [redacted], so I feel like his other half is going to be something much more important to the story.
Maybe his other half is connected to Dream or dreamons since Ranboo himself is so closely connected to Dream. Also in the Lost City of Mizu Ranboo's descendant Ranbob worshipped Dream, which connects Dream and Ranboo together even more, since even generations in the future Ranboo's bloodline are still the ones to side with Dream (each of the inhabitants of Mizu worshipped/followed one of the SMP members, so it must mean something if Ranbob is the one to follow Dream rather than a descendant of Dream).
Plus on a small note Ranbob was played by Dream rather than Ranboo, even though Ranboo was in the livestream, so maybe that's another hint?

Theory:No tommy is the 1 he is blessed by the prime god holy spirit and yesus/dream so he can't be infected by the egg because the prime house have a hasemak suit and it can protect the user from the egg so yeah.

I just want Ranboo to have the spotlight, his character has so much potential and it's really really interesting. I don't care if it's an insanity arc where he just spreads chaos, or if it's a hero arc where he saves everyone from the egg. But hey, in Fundy's latest stream Ranboo canonically teleported and couldn't understand nor see Fundy or Captain Puffy. Not to mention that when he stared at Captain Puffy, she froze and couldn't move. So at least he's getting some attention on him. :D

As of recently, we have found out that Tommy is immune to the egg so maybe Ranboo and Tommy could team up. They could then set Dream free to help them defeat the egg seeing that because Dream is in prison he has not had any contact with the egg.
That stream was really suspenseful. And knowing them, it’ll probably happen! Thanks for the mini theory!

You're saying that Tommy and Ranboo are immune so they can make the rational decision enlist Dream's help in destroying the egg as he's not being influenced by it.
But what if this chain of thought was actually backwards?
What if Dream was the one who had control over the egg rather than it possibly having power over him?
Wouldn't it be possible that Tommy and Ranboo are immune to the egg *because* they both are of importance to Dream?
They're basically the exact two chess pieces he cannot risk to lose.
Furthermore, if the two of them don't feel much of the egg's influence, they might both be swayed to not directly attack it due to their respective personalities.
We saw Tommy at the verge of destroying it, but backtracking because he thought that he might profit off of it.
He also realized that this might start another war, and given what he's been through and all the things he's lost... Well, I see why he wouldn't want to be live through more trauma. I think that he, in a way, searches for the happy youth that he lost - it's remarkably clear in the relationships he forms with others, especially with Sam.
So no, Tommy wouldn't set out to seriously fight the eggpire - at least as long as none of his closest friends gets hurt.
Ranboo clearly dislikes the vines and the eggpire, but doesn't really have an incentive to aggressively oppose it.
As we heard in this wonderful video essay, he doesn't want to be the center of attention; And confrontation he likes even less.
If he were to break the egg, he would quite surely be hunted down by the eggpire, forcing him to physically fight.
As a pacifist who hates the prospect of war, there's no way he would knowingly put himself in a position that might damage his (and others) feeble relationships even further.
Apart from that, Ranboo currently lives with Techno and Phil, far away from the vines, and is friends with people who have barely been affected by the egg, meaning that he's probably telling himself that the eggpire is a smaller problem than it actually is - he's got to deal with subjectively worse things (*cough* Dream) that affect him personally.
In conclusion, Ranboo won't make a serious move, either.
In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if all of this turns to be a massive brain play by Dream - the vines are causing havoc and might possibly purge the server.
Because after all, according to Dream, chaos wins.

May i add that he did make an enderman noise when he was showing Tubbo and Jack his silk touch hands, Tubbo hit him and there was a enderman sound. At first i thought it was the donation but i saw that the rest of the donos were not making sounds, and as well there are times where he goes full enderman and ignores everyone and just focuses on picking up and placing blocks, and we did find out when hes in that state no one can look him in the eyes without not being able to move and feel sick or unwell

that punch was the new thorns noise and it happens all the time you punch someone with that enchantment. it’s a guardian noise, not an enderman
This is a very underrated video! It's so well done, and It really shows that you spent time on this video. For ranboo (As you probably already know) On his stream where the Dream voice went away at the end when there was the crown and the flashing smiley face, the flashes were in morse code for "Its not over" The whole fandom has been talking about it. I personally think that the Dream voice will come back, and manipulate him not to side with Dream, or join the eggpire, but probably just to isolate him from everybody. by isolate I don't mean having him run away. Like isoaltated as in he could still be in a room with 20 different players, but still feel alone. Like distancing him from his friends while still being near them. Maybe then after he will be manipulated into helping Dream break out of prison, or joining him, but I think that he won't do it anytime soon.

Quite a bit has changed from then to now huh!
I'd like to mention what ranboo has clarified out of character- he is not portraying any sort of split personality or 'other half', and although his hallucination of dream is unexplained, it is not an alter ego. Ranboo is trying to avoid painting mental illness that is similar in symptoms in a negative light.
As far as I can piece together from his dialogue, his other state of mind seems to be something simple and enderman-like. Ranboo cannot remember what he has done while he has been in this state. He referred to it as enderwalking today, had referred to it as "wandering state" in the past.
My theory is that his hallucinations of Dream were taking advantage of his more easy-to-manipulate mind while he enderwalks. However, I am fairly unsure of this; since he's been so adamant about how he is not trying to portray a mental health case, he may be going for something completely new and more supernatural in nature :D
(another note, i researched a lot of this because i have a dissociative disorder myself and his lore was starting to concern me; even with a lot of care and research it is still better not to portray such disorders as an amateur because of how easy it would be to paint the disorder in a negative light and further stigmatize it. if anything was unclear reply!!! i dont make comments often)

I have a theory in terms of the character of dream within the SMP this might have already been said but I haven’t seen anyone say this
In Karl Jacobs recent tales from the SMP it is implied that the egg has been around for many years and might have been more of a major player then we thought
My theory is what if the egg has been manipulating dream this whole time promising him more power and control if he dose what it wants
Perhaps the egg wanted dream to manipulate Tommy to a point where when dream introduces Tommy to the egg he’ll be more compliant to the eggs control because if dream continued to manipulate Tommy in exile he would listen to dream and not question it that much making him more vulnerable to the eggs control
But after dream was taken out and the egg realised that Tommy is a lot more determined and and has strong will power that the egg thought it best to kill him so that he doesn’t become more of a threat latter on
Now this one might be a little bit more far fetched but what If the voice in Ranboos head might actually be a then showing us how the egg manipulates you by taking the voice of someone you care about or someone of interest/despise in ranboos case dream because he sees dream as the cause of everything that’s wrong in the SMP
Again this one might be to outlandish or crazy and the one above might have already been said but I just wanted to share my thoughts

I'm gonna add some random theories that I'll explain only if someone asks:
1. Dream's armor is evil
2. Ranboo will not be corruptible by the Egg
3. Dream is against the Egg and will be released to attempt to stop the Egg
4. Ranboo and Dream (classic) has never met
5. Tubbo and Tommy will find out about Ranboo's issues with Dream and will cause a Ranboo corruption arc.
2, 3, and 5 are there because of writer's intuition.
Well, after Techno's latest stream today, it seems like Techno, Ranboo, and Phil might lead the charge against the Eggpire.

I have a theory about how Ranboo could be a time traveller like Karl (Tales of the SMP)
Basically we’ve seen in the Tales of the SMP, every time Karl time travels he looses some of his memory. It could be that Ranboo was previously a time traveller and travelled so much that he lost all his memories and got stuck in the present. Maybe he found out how to time travel though enderman teleportation (it’s not too different, it’s just instead of going to a different place you are going to a different time) and he could have some intuitions about how factions cause problems in the future and people are more important.
Probably not canon but it’s my own little headcannon.

1)from the current situation with the eggpire i dont see ranboo as the only possible saviour as tommy is immune and the syndicate mostly dislikes the egg
2)a lot of things seem to have changed in your theory because of the end of the disk saga so ranboo will probably not self exile any time soon

so looks like ranboo is going the sleeper agent rout as he has a we see in snapnaps recent stream and we know dream had the time to turn him into one as philza on his hardcore stream said "ya dream killed ranboos parents when he was yunger right in front of him" so ya plenty of time to turn ranboo into one (and i think dream was doing that to tommy during his exile to but we see how that went) so ya that explains his memory as well as his 2 sides and why the corruptive side sounds like dream and honestly why he cares about people cuz he subconsusly knows how easly they can be taken away and why his good side we watch on his stream hates dream as much as he does (this could just be caused by dream killing him when he first got there tho but i dont think so considering ranboos charicter and him causing chaos for the others as well would not be that good a reson in my eyes also considering ranboos extremely forgiving nature....pointing out that time tubbo killed that endermen infront of him and asked if it hurt)

@@witheredmeliad5249 my sibling has a different opinion on this theory they think that he actually died and then dream use necromancy on him and put iron golem on his face cuz if you look at his skin his whole entire body is black except for that piece on his head believing part of his head was destroyed and Wilbur also has memory problems and he's the only ghost on the server except for slatt who apparently came back as a ghost

In Ranboo's most recent stream with the egg, he is clearly going insane because of what the Egg said, and I am devastated because he won't have a villain arc.
I could go on and on about how much I love villain arcs, and Ranboo is my favorite character, so a Ranboo villain arc would've been my dream.

Unrelated to all this, the theory is quick good, but in your editing programme, you could see if there is a feature that could "normalise peaks" or just something that you can set to "0db" or if you use audacity, you could normalise in there

Sometimes I think...
Is Ranboo REALLY half enderman? Or is his family cursed to slowly become more endermen-like with every generation? And with every new Ran-generation born, they lose a bit more of their humanity (memory Loss comes with it).
Meaning, that the curse might've been around for a very long time for Ranboo himself to be almost 50/50. Since he has major memory problems, he just assumes he must be half enderman, while he might not possibly be one.

I think the other side of Ranboo is a Ghast. If you look at Ranboo his skin. You can see a red eye, white skin, and a line on that side. All of those things I just listed can be seen on Ghast. With as everyone know can be found in the nether.
