The PL should start following the Indian Premier league (IPL, cricket) where all players are put into a pool and annual bids for a smaller purse and a once in 2 or 4 years wirh a larger purse, where the teams could retain 3 or 4 marque players leabjng then oit if the bid pool. This could help in FFPs and providing a level olaying field for a lot of clubs.

The Club dropped their standards, and now fans have dropped their standards. Mainoo is an average slow technical midfielder that can only play 1 position to an ok level currently. He's not a 6. He struggles as an 8 because he's too slow and not imposing ( physical) enough. His only position is a 10, but he can't press for long periods. He has some good attributes, and he will grow, but we are Manchester United in a transitional period. We need better. Ugarte needs better. Casemiro is done. Eriksen is done. Mount needs to be sold. Bruno is 30+. Zirkzee isn't good enough. Mainoo in this system struggles. He did OK against Newcastle, but just ok. Amad has far more than any of our young players. I can see a future with him.
