I tried this out. It was pretty awesome ngl. After 6 matches I decided to cut a Gon and a Neon for 2 more 0 costs and it was smooth sailing. Felt competitive against multiple Bleach decks.
I thought about going down to one gon as a situational search! Idk if I’d drop down to 2 neons, she’s just too strong for me to justify it. I’m glad to hear that it’s performing pretty well though! Maybe try running 12 os flat and adding back the neon
I’m watching all your videos, trying to also find the best deck list for union arena. Can’t wait for this to be fully released. Keep up the amazing edits and content!
as someone who is a competitive TCG player I LOVE your build 🤩 I will say with Egman's build id much rather play the 3 2 Leorio so i can recycle something like the Hunter License, but using the Basho is also a really strong option too
Wait?! What do you mean by recycle the hunters license? Also thank you, it’s been a minute since I’ve played a tcg. Getting this much love coming back is amazing 😭
@@LullabyAnto lmao im an idiot it can only take back characters not events 🤣 but even then you could get back like the 2 1 impact Kurapika or even get back Neon's if you moved her up for defensive reason. Idk I just think it's a sat on card and there's definitely some crazy combos that could happen with it. not to mention its 3500 body for mid game aggro
I built a list for this as well and managed to fit in 2 water divinations. I'm not sure why no one seems to be on this card, but I haven't had too many games yet. Do you feel the extra draw isn't needed? It seems real good. Also, do you feel like Neon qualifies as a third win condition making Leorio a 4th?
I would qualify neon as an essential card in the deck, not necessarily a win condition. You need her to help get some of your heavy hitters out and cycle through your deck, but she doesn’t deal necessarily any damage or operates as a good blocker. To me your win condition are cards that can finish the game for you and penetrate their 4-5k walls. Water divination is a really good card and I can understand why anyone would want to use it, I think I would swap it with the gon if I was to add it, but I like that gon lets me mill four instead of two cards. I think the reason no one plays it, is that it’s not specific or can be used as a chump block. Also the 5/1 kurapika does the same thing repeatedly just with one card and the leorio or emperors time lets you draw
I am fairly certain the hisoka 5cost is far superior to both hanzo and leorio, he is basically a removal for 1 cost each turn and forces opponents into really awkward situations
Definitely think the hisoka is way better than the hanzo, especially since it has the draw trigger. I personally like the leorio because it pairs really well with the 2/1 kurapika and still gives me a draw as well. I mainly play leorio for the mirror match up.
@@LullabyAnto I have really tried to make that 2/1 kurapika work but I find that he is mostly just an okay card and there would be more benefits for just running more stuff for late game or removal. The impact is nice when he gets the special but to me hes mostly just an okay raid target, I wanted try removing him at my next locals and put in other options. 3K impact just ain’t doing much when everyones in a contest to run 4k front lines
@@johnnull6219 I completely get your understanding honestly. One thing I like about this deck is that there are multiple ways to build it to suit your play style. Super interested to see how you adapt it and would love for you to share it in the community section under a post. The 2/1 kurapika helps me be aggressive with the early games, especially if I have the leorio or the emperors time. I think a lot of other decks focus on trying to build for the late game but end up losing so much health taking their time doing that
It doesn’t matter, but I will say you obviously want to choose the card that is applying the most pressure on you, or to target a card that is probably blocking majority of your damage

For snipe, does it matter which card you choose from your opponents front line since it's essentially a free direct hit?
